Nasira doesn't remember saying that, either. Thanks to Ansha for the high INT roll - great recall!

Ok, folks. I'm going to be heading out of town for the next two weeks to a place where I have no wifi and the towers are spotty -- all that to say, my access to the interwebs will be sketchy at best from tomorrow (Saturday the 31) until the Monday the 16th.
I imagine I'll pop in a bit at night when possible, but, don't count on me over the period. Feel free to bot as necessary -- we can say that Arigoder's trying not to stand out too much. ;) He won't start a fight, and might even back down from one if absolutely necessary for the overall success of the mission -- assuming he can be convinced it's absolutely necessary...

Per those touch attacks against Morgrym... by failing to "cast defensively" on the first one(the natural 1), what does that mean? Is it a miss?
Sorry I don't run spellcasters hardly ever - and don't remember ever having to cast defensively when I have - so I don't really know what that suppose to mean or whatever.

I am preparing for a week away where I am more likely to have handlebars than a computer mouse in my hands. I will check in as regularly as I can, but feel free to bot Nasira and Damiel as necessary.

I'm still trying to figure out what Morgrym would do. This is a tough one. Super, super tough. Probably one of the toughest calls I've ever had to make for a character in any game EVER. I'm just not entirely sure what his approach would be. Man this is tough.

Arigoder could also be persuaded to remove the backup cold iron longsword from the belt, but would be insulted at the suggestion he should remove the daggers - though he would also give his word to not draw steel during his performance unless first attacked.

Morgrym when you get the chance if you choose the combat option with only your weapons and a loin clothe please roll me 5 rounds of attacks in a spoiler in the game play thread. If you are choosing the option of sacrificing your beard with the rest of the ignominious tasks just let me know. Lastly if you are trying for skill checks go ahead and pick your skill and roll 5 times and let me know if you are ok with using surges if necessary to succeed.

Gotta be honest, I just can't see Morgrym bending his will to any demon. He HATES them to the absolute nth degree. Rereading the "Stolen Fury" campaign trait paired with his backstory, it really seems just far too beyond him to do anything a demon is ordering/desires/wants/whatever him to do.
Plus, like he said, he doesn't trust them. What's to keep them from taking all of our armor/weapons/etc, etc? There's just a universe of mistrust for Morgrym when it comes to demons.

For the record, Nasira is not disrobing. Her skirts and robes are an integral part of the dance and her culture. I certainly respect Morgrym's choice - it's in keeping with the character.

Man, it must be rough not getting himself killed in a blaze of glory by having a psychotic break and attacking literally everything he sees in a massive demonic megacity full of things he hates. ;P
I know, right?!?! That's why this is so freaking tough. The itch to smash fly guy to a pulp is killer. He'll do all he can to NOT go into death mode and start smashing demons until he's just flat out overrun, simply due to the fact he'd be putting his own team in jeopardy. So it's a good thing this is not a solo adventure, otherwise... yeah I'd be rolling up a new character by now. :P

3 are fine as they are all successes. Will get a response up tonight and yes Mirgeym’s response is perfect and a distinct possibility. He actually gets an infamy point for not participating as word gets out that someone snubbed Vellexia and didn’t care about impressing her.
An infamy point?! SUUUUH-WEET!!! Lol! Man you do NOT realize how proud that would make Morgrym. :) (And just to be clear, I'm not kidding. If there was a way that was a physical in-game item, he'd volunteer to take as many as possible). :D

Okay, just so I'm clear, Infamy points are a BAD thing, right? Because that's how I'm reading it. I mean, it's "infamy". So that means "bad", right? :P
Or is it all backwards here because it's the Abyss?
Edit: By the way, a freaking cool scene there, Variel. Well done. *thumbs up*

No, Infamy Points are what we need in order to get Nocticula's attention without getting ourselves killed. Or at least, I assume that Infamy Points are what go into our Notoriety score. 17/40 means we're almost halfway there, and we've only been here a day!

Oh, jeez, I totally missed the explanation at the bottom after seeing all of the skill checks I couldn't hit with a natural 20. Thanks for bringing me up to speed on the game we are playing, Ansha. I could actually do some spellcasting to help us tomorrow if you think it is worth the effort.

Why, yes, as a matter of fact, I am. Why do you think Nasira’s most extreme response to Ansha’s actions is a raised eyebrow? High wisdom, that’s why.

Excellent. I have heard good things, but I have never been there myself.
We greatly enjoyed our trip a couple of weeks ago. We went to the Katy Trail in Missouri and did five out-and-back trips in six days. We aren't hardcore cyclists, but we enjoy the opportunity to do some touring by bicycle once in a while.
