As a heads up: I will be starting a four night stretch at work starting tomorrow night. I will update the game as best I can, but it may be a bit slower than usual during this period.

I concur with Zoli; I'll let Destrina post first. Considering Morythine's distrust of paladins he'd be inclined to attack first and ask questions later ... so let's give her a chance for a blubbing apology first!

My apologies for relative quietness on my end. Had company all weekend (still here, but thank the stars for the privacy of a bathroom and an iPad!).

Tinkering with the dynamic lighting feature I now have on here. If anyone has lost vision let me know.
Also, I only saw that Morythine and Eugeni had Darkvision, and as such, should have vision out to 60' on there without Zoli's light source. Let me know if this is not the case.
Destrina is aasimar so she has it too.
Didn't see it listed, so was kinda waiting to see if she had traded it for something that I didn't notice before adding it to her.

Whilst all my fellow PCs are going bonkers and leaping out of windows, I'd like to point out to the DM that on top of Morythine's healthy Will save, he also has a +2 bonus vs. enchantment effects and a +2 bonus vs. mind-affecting effects. Just so you know. :-)
Not that Zoli is approaching 15th level anytime soon, BUUUUUT, I find the wording on a Swashbuckler's "Dizzying Defense" ability beyond confusing.

So let's retcon who would have the wand:
- OOC I know that the two party members who can use it w/o UMD are Darius and Morythene. In character, we haven't really figured out that Mory's a cleric yet.
- Given that, I suspect when Xam quit we talked about what to do and one of two things happened:
(a) Mory said "I might be able to make it work". Some eyebrows were raised, but our crypto-cleric has the wand, OR
(b) Everyone said "hey, I can't use it" and as soon as we met Darius, Zoli (or someone) convinced him to carry and use it.
Whaddaya think?

I'd say yes, please keep track...partly since you're carrying it now and maybe even moreso because I think you're pretty good at such things. ;-)

I've been waiting on Destrina--who is at PAX so won't post for several days--to heal him. Unless she's out of options? In that case we need to hope someone can make a heal check to stabilize him until he can use the and on himself.
Busy week this week--and the next couple--for me...and much of the busyness is writing deadlines so I don't expect to have many long posts. If I fall behind feel free to DMPC. I'll be trying to keep up but expect to be slower and briefer than normal.

This remains one of my favorite games. I'm just in a (likely extended) busy stretch so not posting as much in any of my games.
I *am* getting a bit weary of this building--and have a nagging feeling that there are key things we've missed or handled poorly--but am not sure what to do about it. Other than leave right now and light the damn mansion on fire...but Zoli really wants to see if there are any Thassilonian relics around first.
Same boat for me, RL is busy busy, and this part of RotRL sucks ass for PBP. I've almost completely lost the engagement I felt in earlier segments of the campaign. This has dragged on for so long that I barely remember why we're even here or what we're looking for. :(

Switching back and forth from days to nights every few days (more than normal) is killing me (figuratively). Coworker has cancer and is out for 3 months (minimum), the rest of us have to cover his shifts.
On another note: I think we need to do something with that revenant, like maybe try talking. I'm rather wary however. Normally I'd think that they wouldn't put something in that could easily TPK us, but Malfeshnekor taught me that's wrong.
