@Kilarra ah got it. well i am sure with time she wont be a problem one way or another, be it she gets romanced to our side, intimidated, or just dies, more then likely from you is my guess.
seems to me i am the ranged and skills monkey part of this group, we have a lot of melee 2 fighters, 1 barb, 1 magus, and divine 1, full arcane 1, and one possible skills monkey me.

Just to state again, following a suggestion from the forum the rum ration only does 1d3-1 con damage. As opposed to 1d3. Prevents you all from dying in a few weeks!

Pft you make it sound like we won't have our mutiny ready within a few days :P Just need to pick up game speed; for each day can we post our daytime + evening tasks all at once? Then can respond throughout the rest of the day according to how things progress, and any potential events.

i would say, as a dm that also runs this game, if there is an event that happens on a given day, be it something ronin puts in or in the path itself, we should only plan for one action, when such a thing happens. ie ronin says do you day actions, an event happens. that way we dont try to do something at night that would be dumb. and just to mess with us he could also just say do your day actions and have them resolve, then do night, so we dont know if an event is going to happen.

Sorry guys! I am new at this so getting the pacing and everything proper is a bit tricky. On one hand I'd love it if we had 15 posts per person per day, on the other hand a lot of people can't post that fast and I want to make sure they get a chance to interact with all the NPCs and the other characters as much as they want to. But it is shaping up to be a fun crew so I think once we get through our little shakedown cruise (to use the pirate metaphor) things will be running smoothly.
Any suggestions feel free to toss em up.
Also trying to mix a few things up (some are just errors lol) for those of you who may of played the first bit before. And you know things that just happen to work out, such as putting the two self professed ladies men randomly in the same work area is going to change stuff mechanics bedamned! lol
Pacing in a PbP is difficult, especially when we are doing 2-3 events per day. I suppose set a goal on how quickly you'd like to get through a day (ex - one event per real life day; morning will take one day, night one day, any events the next), and consider it a bonus if it moves quicker.
Some people (me) are able to post multiple times a day (I spend a lot of time on University campus in the computer labs, being a CompSci major and all) and can move things along quickly. Other people have far more RL commitments and can only post the bare minimum (of 1/day).
I can post more than once a day, slower in the afternoon due to work, but can keep up a good clip.

I think Henk's intimidation line is my favorite so far.
I don't want to be the bad guy or anything but maybe we could try something like a minimum posting - even if it is only once a day it may lend some dynamic to the flow of the game
Once a day happens a lot in PbP and isn't that a big of a demand. What might be good are 'Bot outlines' say if someone will be absent, they can say what they would like to do. If they can't/don't show up for a bit, just say they 'work diligently'. If they drop out of sight, just have them fade into the background.
I know that Kyran has been busy, he is DMing my other game and says he has the inlaws with him right now. I hate going last T_T I will eat that dude, and just stabilize him when he starts bleeding out.
Just remember weekends seems to be pretty slow on the forums anyways.

well they were all asleep except one when i left. so i bet with the time remaining someone can get that person stabilized. so you should be fine. oh i bet you will get lots of lashings but fine is a relative term.

Rum is evil. But I want some gold reaaaaaaaaaaally badly. Want to pick up some supplies for our future endeavors. Armor would be nice.
I wish I could get my hands on my armor and Rapier, that would suffice - even the armor alone would suffice :D

But just remember in the future about the rum or what have you, Stealth is for moving quietly, staying hidden, sneaking up on someone through the shadows, etc. Sleight of hand is for palming things, pocketing things, lifting wallets, getting ride of things in hand with out being seen. Just think of a magician trying to make a card disappear. Thats sleight of hand not Stealth.
And the ships small enough that discretely trying to find a place to hide is not really going to work in most cases.
Of course I say that and then I reread the rules and the book specifically says DC 10 stealth check. So in this case never mind! use stealth! But i'll let you use Sleight of hand if you want. Egg on my face indeed.
