Round 1: Skaar, Cyna, Rayne, Aurelea, Harakhty, Sefirous, Pavil, Alethiro
Skaar
Just to be clear, the paladins are not paying attention as if they can't see us all?
Skaar tosses away the parchment and, with the momentum of a charging bull, rushes forward to slam into one of Sefirous's goons with a massive forearm.
Clothesline: 1d20 + 7 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 7 + 3 = 20
Damage: 1d8 + 9 ⇒ (4) + 9 = 13
If he's hit he also needs to make a DC 15 fort save or be knocked prone.
GM Henry Fortuna
Nope, the don't seem to acknowledge the area you're in. Some of them glance in your direction but don't react in any way.
Fort Save: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9

Aurelea
[ooc]Before the goons
“I guess. Trying to do something worthwhile and responsible for once. If I can learn something from it, be a better person, maybe I can at least convince myself they died for something more than my selfishness.” Aurelea says with a sigh.
Silent as the exchanges occurred Aurelea gathers up all of the emotion she’d been feeling as she talked to Skaar, all the focus and purpose as she communicated with her new…companion, and honed it into something deadly. A razor sharp fury.
Her hand shifted to her sword’s hilt as if on instinct.
‘Looks like you were right about these three being trouble, ready for some action?’
Looking at the other two men alongside the leader as Skaar’s voice bellows the challenge.
”Just been dead, didn’t much like it. Your turn!”
Cyna Singer
15 Post. 2 Hours. Really?
Cyna waits for Skaar to initate the battle before quickly useing her tail to hold her blade, shes grabs her bow and fires two shots at the 'replacements'. "Somethings not right... "
Rappid: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7

The fallen Rayne attempts to stand, still clutching his throat.
You get an AoO, Skaar.
Round 1: Skaar, Cyna, Rayne (if he doesn't die), Aurelea, Harakhty, Sefirous, Pavil, Alethiro
Skaar
Skaar takes a swing at the goon as he climbs to his feet.
Vs Prone: 1d20 + 7 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 7 + 4 = 13
Damage: 1d3 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
Harakhty Suntooth
Not wanting a repeat of last time, Harakhty approached Skaar (move to I6) and said a prayer to Nethys. "You brought us back; don't fail us now." Summoning an envelope of protective energy around him, he touching the hulking half-orc, transferring it to him. A barely-visible distortion in the air around him took hold.
Casting shield of faith. Deflection +2 bonus to AC and CMD for 3 minutes.
Skaar
Hurray an AC buff!
Skaar gives Harakhty a nod of thanks as the invisible protective field wraps itself around his massive frame.
Turning to face the remaining men, the big orc gestures for them to bring it.
Aurelea
A wicked grin spreading across her face Aurelea explodes into action, her voice raising in a chant as she moves, electricity dancing along her blade as she lashes out, a vicious strike to deliver both shock and ebon steel to the second underling.
Spell strike.Swift action 1pt to make sword +2 weapon. Shocking grasp delivered by blade
1d20 + 7 ⇒ (18) + 7 = 25
1d8 + 4 + 3d6 ⇒ (3) + 4 + (1, 6, 2) = 16
Alethiro Milocathe
Hearing his name called, Alethiro snapped out of his contemplations and looked at the leader of his travelling companions. Before he could answer, his holy symbol began to glow. This must be a sign. But of what? He thought, turning his attention back to Sefirous and seeing the fight. No, I need them. The Elf screamed mentally. Drawing his mace and moving up Pavil, Alethiro raised his weapon and brought it down on the man's head.
Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24
Damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
GM Henry Fortuna
Um, you'll need a new target, Alethiro.
Aurelea quickly disposes of the other underling, leaving Sefirous to fight alone. Yet, the man seems nonplussed by the quickness that his companions were slain with. He cracks his knuckles, then draws a thin dagger.
"Now, you have to have others protect you, Skaar? Pathetic. Perhaps I should start by stabbing this b$$~% instead. Would you like that?" he says, walking towards Aurelea.
Attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11; miss
Round 1: Skaar, Cyna, Aurelea, Harakhty, Sefirous, Alethiro
Alethiro Milocathe
Disregard previous post.
Drawing his mace and moved up to Sefirous. Raising his mace, the Cleric struck the man.
Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12
Damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
Any chance I can keep my previous rolls?
Skaar
Skaar struggles to make sense of what was happening between Sefirous and Alethiro but it appears the elf was on his side for now.
"You leave 'er alone. Yer fight is with me!" Skaar roars.
Skaar
Happy to oblige, Skaar rushes to his opponent's side and lunges.
Grapple: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (16) + 11 = 27
"The horsemen. Yer with 'em!"
Cyna Singer
Rappid: 1d20 ⇒ 4
Rappid: 1d20 ⇒ 19
Damage: 1d8 ⇒ 3
Cyna keeps herself clear of the frey and continues to fire arrows. "Don't let him get in your head Skaar." she shouts.
Harakhty Suntooth
The situation looking under control, Harakhty saw little he would add by tossing himself into the fray. Readying himself to move quickly if the man attacked, he watched.
Total defense.
GM Henry Fortuna
Fort Save: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
Sefirous groans as he feels his strength sapped away by Aurelea's blade. He deftly attempts to stick Skaar in the ribs.
Attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (17) + 7 = 24; Damage: 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
"How does that feel?"
Round 2: Skaar, Cyna, Aurelea, Harakhty, Sefirous, Alethiro
Skaar
Skaar stares down at the tiny blade stuck between his ribs.
"I don't feel much but with what you're packin' I'm sure you hear that a lot", the hulking orc growls.
With a snarl, Skaar slips his arms around his opponent's torso and tightens his grip.
"How's that feel?"
Grapple for Damage: 1d20 + 11 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 11 + 5 = 31
Damage: 1d8 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9
Alethiro Milocathe
Seeing the Orc stabbed, Alethiro didn't want to risk striking him unintentionally. Once the blade was removed, the Cleric put his free hand on the massive warrior he said, "Fa anira vmilnya eo Pharasma, fa irailcaw."
CLW: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
The wound closed up, leave yet another scar among the many he already had.
Skaar
The big orc is distracted for a moment by the unfamiliar touch and the sensation of magical healing, something he hadn't felt since Stephan was lost.
Skaar gives the elf, previously untrusted, a nod of understanding and then returns to crushing his opponent.
Cyna Singer
Cyna maneuvers into a flank drawing her blade as she moves, and once in position she attacks the surrounded man.
Scimitar: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20
damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3 no luck with damage rolls
GM Henry Fortuna
Aurelea gives the man another wound. Sefirous seems to jerk and convulse in Skaar's grip, then it feels as if the orc has nothing in his hands at all. He glances down as a dark smoke surrounds him, then fades away. You look to Sefirous' companions and they too have disappeared, leaving only their belongings.
Combat Over
Skaar
Skaar stares in confusion at his empty hands and then looks around.
"How... Where did he go?"
Skaar
"The name's Skaar", the big orc comments. "And last time I saw him that sod couldn't pull tricks like that."
Cyna Singer
"He knew alot about us Skaar, almost like he was in our heads. I don't think he was who we saw him to be, maybe a phantom of some sort."
Alethiro Milocathe
@Skaar: Placing his hand over heart and bowing his head, the Elf said, "And I am Alethiro Milocathe, Cleric of Pharasma and hunter of the undead."
Skaar
"I hope yer right Cyna", Skaar replies.
Answering the elf's greeting with a sharp nod of his own, Skaar turns his attention to the newcomer.
"If you're looking for deadmen then youf come to the right place. But Drago's gone. They got him. The female yer lookin' for, she's dead too except not... I don't really get it."
Harakhty Suntooth
"Cyna's right," chimed-in Harakhty. He cast a glance behind him. "The paladins were as if we weren't here. They don't seem like the type to ignore those in peril, so I'm guessing we weren't ... in their eyes. An illusion of sorts?" He looks at Skaar's wounds. "Yet also real. I don't quite understand it."
Harakhty looked at the newcomer. "Starting with that shark would be a good way to begin if you're looking for something to hunt."
Alethiro Milocathe
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17
"Don't strain your mind Skaar, it makes sense to very few."
Turning to the Vanara, "I would need a boat first, and the Paladins do not seem to be very helpful in that regard. Perhaps you fine adventures, would care to help?"
Skaar
Sense Motive: 1d20 ⇒ 4
”With the boat or the shark?" Skaar asks.
”Because we’re waitin’ on the boat too.”
Skaar
Are the paladins done with constructing their boat?
Skaar
Between talking things over with Aurelea and trouncing a demon from his past, Skaar's spirits are back up. I don't suppose there's a paladin in the camp that'd be up for some sparring? His usual partner is currently absent. =(
Harakhty Suntooth
Sorry, Stratos was myself. Sometimes I forget to post on the appropriate alias.
Seeing nothing seem to be going anywhere in the near future, Harakhty decided to rest. Having been through death now was a rather troubling experience. It didn't quite carry the weight it once did. The importance of their mission to powerful beings also was ponderous on his self, the downtime allowing the heavy thoughts to catch up to him.
"I'm going to sleep for a while," he announced, wandering off to the camp in his thoughts.
Alethiro Milocathe
"Good night then little one. May Pharasma guide you." The said to the Vanara.
Turning back to the rest of the group he asked, "So, who is this...Drago?"
Skaar
We've already determined the party is bad at looting.
Disappointed that none of the paladins are interested in blowing off some steam, Skaar returns and pokes around the dropped belongings.
