All of the information can be found on my wiki. Which is a campaign expansion to my Phaeselis campaign.

Details:
* You may pick from three races: orcs, gnolls, and trolls. There are no undead races or elvish races you can pick. And goblins are just too -- chaotic.

* You can choose any character class from the Core Rules, APG, and Ultimate Psionics (GM approval for Ult_Psi. and ACG.) Some races like certain class combos. Please note that a lot of the orcs have Intelligentsia with them, so don't be afraid to play an alchemist or wizard with the orc race.

* Basic story: You're a bunch of Hordies starting out in the Village of trials. While the tasks seem mundane: bop orc grunts on the head ("Me not that kind of orc!") -- trouble begins.

* Background: anything to explain how you got your skills, powers, or abilities.

Theatre:
I can do this here or on roll20 where we'd have some real time interaction.

I would prefer on Roll20, personally. If it stays a pbp, then I may not join, but we will see. I would love the chance to use Ultimate Psionics.

So would I. Actually. :) Roll20, not Ult.Psi. :) I love Ultimate Psionics.

I'm interested. Is this in 5e or Pathfinder?

If it's in Pathfinder, i'm very interested. If its' 5e... I dont' have those rules so i'd have to bow out.

Pathfinder.
:)

Ok, next question... the Roll20 setup will that be jsut for mapping or real-time gaming? I live in Hawaii, and I doubt ANYONE can keep with my schedule .

Throwing my hat in the ring for a Horde game, mon. I got the voodoo. Troll witch.

Would I be able to draw from other books as long as I pick a Core/APG class? A Fighter using the WMH options for throwing weapons would be a perfect fit for a Troll Headhunter.

I wouldn't be able to play if it isn't pbp, unfortunately; my schedule is too erratic to keep up with a roll20 game currently.

/hovers his hat over the ring

What sort of posting expectations would you have?

PBP would be my druthers, as my RL schedule is far too inconsistent to consider otherwise.

Never played WoW, though I have tried MMORPGs, would I be lost in this game without that knowledge?

I would be interested as long as it is play by post, probably either as a troll barbarian or ranger.

I'm thinking some kind of orc. Maybe a close-weapon sword and board type. I've always wanted to try that combo.

If only you'd designed a Tauren, I would be on this like flies on dung. I still might, but man do I love them cows.

/taps microphone

"This thing on?"

Gnolls instead of Tauren?

Yes, Gambit. Gnolls instead of Tauren.

Okay, to answer everyone's questions.

Right now, I'm jealous. I'd give anything to live on Hawai'i. But I'm stuck here in Utah where I am needed the most.

I guess I can do one that is pbp, I prefer the real time of roll20.

*sigh* It just so happens that I can do Tauren. They are Open Game Content and I have other reasons. I wanted to do gnolls, because they had so much to teach one about being a predator.

No.

Just in case it's skipped:
* Core and APG classes only, with the possible exception of the Gunslinger (crossbow ace only).

* 25 point buy.

* 2 traits

* Level 1

Liberty's Edge

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I am interested, however there are a couple of things.

1. This would be my first ever experience with an RPG in general and Pathfinder specifically.
2. Goes without saying this would be my first ever PbP.
3. I am on Australian East Coast time (UTC +10)

If any of these are going to be an issue, no big deal. I don't want to cause anyone any unnecessary issues.

I don't think it will cause an issue. Just try to coordinate the best time you can post. If not, no one is going to pull your leg. :)

I added the Tauren.

I selected my avatar and made an alias for my troll witch doctor. What kind of racials do trolls have? Stat bonuses and the like? Also considering being a Hex Channeler for AOE healing or damage if our group needs it.

Might I have the option to go for the Scarred Witch Doctor archetype if I'm a troll, not an orc?

Jungle Troll stats has all the racials. And yes, I don't see why not.

Ooh, definitely would want to go for that witch doctor archetype then, for the +2 intelligence trait to counteract my intelligence racial penalty.

Looks like I'll have to generate a wizard archetype for trolls of the Eternal Mountain caste if more players are going to pick up the scarred witch archetype.

Yes!! Yes yes yes yes yes.

"Tauros" Druid incoming.

Liberty's Edge

I am thinking orc paladin. More smashy than casty.

I've converted all the Paladin seals in More Magic and Mayhem from the 3.5 format to the Pathfinder format. The document is here. I'm working on the blessings next.

Liberty's Edge

I didn't realise some of the nuances of Paladins, so am giving it a miss. Will do something else. Since I am new to this and it will take me several goes to get a reasonable character, how are we generating our characters? How are we determining our ability scores etc? I would like to have a go at making something.

25 points.

2 traits.

hero points.

3rd level.

I'll get the crunch ready for my scarred witch. I'll also provide some exciting adventures for my backstory since we're starting at level 3 already - we're not untested young pups here.

My gnoll ranger should be done tomorrow. Any recommendations for favoured enemy/ terrain?

I can't think of any right now. Err, mountains and elves?

Nope. 1st levels would be going through their Rites of Passage.

Oh okay, so we're done with our rites of passage right?

Right.

You are done with your rites of passage.

sounds good.

I can't find the racial stats for gnolls on your wiki

Browman wrote:

Try here.

Crunch is done except for gear. standard wealth by level?

I should have a profile up this evening.

yeah. Standard wealth by level.

I almost seriously going to give this up since I can't seem to make some people happy.

/awkward man hug

I'm still going to DM.

Grand Lodge

this is the character Ietsuna has put together for this. This is my first character that I have built that is being seen by others so if I made any mistakes please let me know. I think it shouldn't be too bad. Orc Ranger Archery combat style.

I feel your pain Elton, if it makes you feel better I have played with Browman in the past when he played a hobgoblin in one of my campaigns, and I know he's an excellent player. Once we get this thing started, it should be a fun campaign.

Working on my crunch now, should be done in about 45 minutes.
