Rova |

The silvered morningstar would probably do better for Eva, since (as a simple weapon) she can use it for decent damage.
I'm more concerned about having a magic something for the things that need it (until I get what I'm looking for, anyway). The other handaxe would do fine.
The ring of protection/ioun stone of +1AC is always nice, but I'm sporting the best AC in the group already. Those might do better on someone with thinner armor.
Vertielle, put me down for a copy, I can't wait to see what I missed.. ;)
PS: Rova's also not a heartless bastard, but he likes to know the moral fiber of those he's associating with.

Just a heads-up: My family and I (me, hubby/Rova, daughter [who's now 19!)] are going on a vacation trip this week. We're leaving Tuesday and will be back late Sunday.
We're taking a lap-top so I should be able to post at least once a day except Tuesday.
Itinerary:
Tuesday - drive to Orlando
Wednesday- if need be finish drive, then alternate Universal/Islands Of Adventure
Thursday - alternate Universal/Islands Of Adventure, night time for the haunted stuff
Friday - drive to Busch Gardens Williamsburg, park stuff & haunted stuff
Saturday - drive to King's Dominion, park stuff and haunted stuff
Sunday - drive home, collapse
I'm not abandoning anything, but I may not be real coherent
I'll have the module with me, so I can keep going.

Gkirkhan |

Okay, I'm kinda in a dilemma. I have two courses of action. One is out of character but will likely help the party with finding out more. The other has Gkirkhan running off and possibly trying to outrun/outwit a cheesed off Eva. So do I go with the OoC option, or the more fun and detrimental IC option.
Honestly, I think Gkirkhan is smart enough to know that he can probably outrun Eva, the trick is outwitting her.

Gkirkhan, I'm starting to see you as Junpei from Those who hunt elves
Watch the whole episode, not just the first third,
note it's NSFW due to language, and a few actions of the heros.

Gkirkhan |

Yeah I can see that. The three guys in the last panel though, are what inspired Gkirkhan.
I do highly recommend giving the whole comic a read.

Whew. Three trees down in our immediate area, and power's still out across town.
Anyone keen on financing my scroll purchasing? It's 375gp, and I've got the coin, I'll go ahead getting one without aid. Any other divinations worth a purchase while I'm looking?

Advanced Notice:
I'll be starting up a game after one that I'm GMing finishes within a short while.
It'll be a gestalt game, with a slightly modified version of character randomisation that I used in my Broadened Horizons Games.
The game will be one of 4 modules I'm looking at running, and it'll continue to a second module that I've decided on.
I'll post up a link to the new game soon.

Those who have applied or played or playing in my Broadened Horizons Games did enjoy having the a random base to build their character with.
I even got two Merciful healer Clerics, but both were different as one was a tank build and the other a heal focused build.
Which amazed both those players in that the same results could yield different builds.
Some players even saw a new side to the class they got.

My fun week...Wenesday/Thursday we realized that our 10-year-old hot tub was overflowing. And had been for a while. We solved that problem. The old lid was the cause. But...we had water in the basement (it's on the first/ground floor).
We didn't think much of it, since:
one - on Friday my dietician said I lost 4 pounds!
two - we hit mid-sixties weather in Pittsburgh over the weekend.
This hid the fact that the leak flooded the fuse box for our furnace.
Good news, the safety cut-off worked.
Bad news, it's going down to mid 20s and we had no heat.
More bad news, it wasn't covered by the warranty. We're out $260+ but at least we have heat. And they moved the fuse box. And gave us a waterproof one this time, too!
Life is fun.
All day I'd been saying there was something wrong with the furnace because it hadn't kicked on. This one time, I wish I'd been wrong.

I missed my first class today because I forgot to turn my phone off of vibrate, and so I slept until the class started. Oh, and the class I missed was Pre-cal. Okay fine, that doesn't compare to what the rest of you are going through, but the teacher has already explained to us how much this class is going to suck, and I'm not good at math anyway, so. . .

Hope you find a better job, Vertielle. Working for the government gives me a solid deal. Government jobs abound on the usa jobs website, though not sure of your field. Adam may want to look there too. The government is growing faster than the private sector these days.
A comedian once said if your job requires you to have a nametag, that is a bad sign. Well, my job requires me to have a nametag. I am sure NinjaDM had a nametag at one time too.
Best of wishes to everyone. Zhiden, if you need calculus help, the Schaum's outlines for calculus are great. They can cover for a bad teacher and have lots of worked problems.

AdamWarnock |

Yeah I got some strong opinions on that.
I have a pretty good job right now. I know I lucked out to get it from an internship in the summer between my junior and senior years of college. (And through my senior year of college, this past summer and this last semester. Seriously lucked with these guys.)
Precal's not that bad. Cal 2, though, it's nicknamed the "Engineer Breaker" at where I went to college (feels very strange to say that now).
@Vertielle: Hope you find a good job soon. Having no money sucks.

IT and Comp Sci are two different things. Computer Science deals a lot with efficiency and resource usage, namely in algorithms. There is a lot of math involved, and I mean a lot. Comp Sci is often considered a branch of mathematics, and some programming languages allow you test them by using math to prove the validity of the logic. Information technology, as I understand it, deals more with network communications and routing through complex networks.
Personally, It says Computer Science on my degree, but I think I'm more of a software engineer than a computer scientist.

HP: 1d12 ⇒ 10
Hehehehe.
BTW, is there a treasure break down form before we started this romp with Brother Spawn? I haven't been doing a good job of keeping up with Gkirkhan's share, and now I'm not sure how much it is.
