I love you for that link Iulia!
Round 1
"Ow...I gotta get better at dodgin'," Calli groans as she takes blows from both kobolds, though thankfully Kale manages to take out one of her two attackers.
She draws back and attempts to throw a mighty punch at the remaining kobold before shuffling back a step. "Eat fist!"

The bewitching nose wiggle places the kobold in a daze. The two warrior women beat down the last kobold.
The humans remain huddled a few moments after the last of the melee. The man finally pokes his head up and raises his hands in a defensive manner.
"Please, please. Don't hurt us. What needs to be done, shall done. But please don't hurt us."
Congratulations. You've defeated the slaver kobolds. Each PC earns 80 XP. No treasure besides the typically kobold spears & leather armor.
Haruf "Eight-arms" Sefka |
Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12
Haruf looks somewhat disgruntled to hear Calli's comment about not hurting them. However, he is glad that the prisoners are intact. He gives himself little time to rejoice and quickly hardens his senses again, staying close to a shadow to jump into it in case of trouble.
Haruf "Eight-arms" Sefka |
Haruf wants to show the prisoners the way home to look good in Kale's eyes, but can't help but feel suspicious. He whispers to her trying not to be heard.
What about those two? Who are they? I'm afraid to regret letting them go without some sort of reward
Nebten |
Using the key to unbind everybody, the dark haired woman hugs Iulia in thanks.
"Thank you, so very much. I'm Sela and this is my husband Carlo. We were leaving Belhaim after selling our wares when we were waylaid by these nasty dogs. Our wagon was destroyed in the attack and we are lucky to have these homespun to wear. We have nothing more then our gratitude to give in return. How do we get back to town? We don't know were here even is."
Haruf "Eight-arms" Sefka |
Haruf waits for his companions approve the explanation before offering to show the freed prisoners the way back through the tunnel back to town. He doesn't say anything beyond what's necessary for that, though.
I'm pretty sure there's more to this, he thinks still unconvinced. He tries to see any hidden goods the couple have on them that the kobolds might have missed when they attacked.
Iulia |
"Well, it is a short journey to town, but it may be quite dangerous given the route we took. I'm sure my friends and I would be happy to escort you, once we've dealt with the rest of these lizards."
Alex Anders |
Alex moved over to the prisoners, checking them over to make sure they were fit to travel. It was good seeing that none were too bad, but seeing them well fed was a shock. "maybe they are fresh on the capture list?" He thought as he helped them to their feet, offering a shoulder if any needed it. However, seeing haruf's caution only gave a subtle confirmation to Alex's curiosity

He also offered a little bit more healing for those wounded in the skirmish and in case the prisoners were too hurt as he gave a brief subtle prayer to old deadeye for protection

"Kale's got a point," Calli agrees as she listens to the prisoner's tales. "There's prolly more kobolds skulkin' around an' they know the place better'n we do. Mebbe we can take 'em back as far as the tower? It's safe from there back up to Belhaim," she adds reassuringly.
Iulia |
"Oh, um, sure. I wouldn't call that tower safe at all! What with the...". She pauses and looks at the captives, suddenly reconsidering her words. "...Ok, lets take them back then!"
Nebten |
The stories of the freely saved slaves are ring true. Back tracking the way they came the party makes their way out of the Kobold's Lair. As they are about to climb up the crag and through the tower, Bophre recommends walking around the lake and taking the main road into town. Realizing the dangers of the tower, this appears to be a sensible idea.
Escorting captives back to Malak farm, Bophre beings to tear up again. The straw haired boy cries out, "Ma'! Bophre's back! Bophre's back!."
Isadorer Malak and half a dozen children come running from the farmhouse and fields. Mother and daughter join together in a huge hug and kisses. The remaining kids gather around, chaining hands to join in the hug.
After the celebration reunion, Isadorer hugs each of the heroes if allowed with kisses for the men.
"Oh, thank you so much for returning my daughter to me. I had nearly given up hope. Here, take this. It's nearly all I have, but it is nothing without my little girl. You are fine folk. Fine folk indeed. Come by any time if you need anything, even a simple meal."
Isadorer slaps a sack full of coins in Kale's hands with a smile.
Congratulations, you have Found Bophre Malak and returned her to the Malak farm. Each PC earns 240 XP and the party obtains 200 gp.
Congratulations, you made a friend in Belhaim. Each PC earns 80 XP. Campaign Info updated.
At this time the party can do what they like in town or I can "warp" you back to your last position in the dungeon. Or you can do something completely different then listed above.
Calli McDaniel |
Calli smiles as the family shares a tearful reunion and happily accepts Isadorer's hug. "Happy to help ma'am, happy to help. But uh, I might take you up on that meal sometime, mebbe once things calm down some around here."
She then looks at her friends. "I reckon we oughta go finish what we started. Them kobolds prolly set up some traps while we've been gone but it can't be helped."
Kale Amora |
Kale allowed the woman to hug her and just offered a small smile. Though when the sack of coins where slapped into her hand she looked surprised.
Oh she didn't have to go do that...
While her friends spoke with the woman Kale pulled Haruf aside for a moment. "You um... ever thought about having children?" She asked him simply.
Nebten |
The party takes Old Quarry Road to return to the mines where the Kobold Lair lays.
Delving deeper into the mines, Haruf leads the way. The small alcove to the south is strewn with small limestone boulders and debris.
You notice the flooring and bordering rubble ahead looks unstable. You feel it is a pit trap.
Haruf "Eight-arms" Sefka |
Back in the mines, Haruf seems to be more comfortable in the dark than receiving gratitude. At some point he stops and whispers danger to the party.
Spoiler shared
He tries to find a safe way around the would-be trap and leads the party that way.
Nebten |
With a magnifying glass and long handled tools, Haruf is able to slip the safety pins back into place to allow the party safe travel across the pit trap.
The hallway opens up into another alcove. A mound of what appears to be rotten vegetables, fruit and excrement sits heaped in the middle of the room. A bulging leather sack rests atop the mound of garbage.
A single forlorn kobold sits nearby the mound. Her arms, legs and snout tightly bound with rope and her body lashed to iron spikes driven into the cave wall. As the party enters the room, the kobold begins to squirm and wriggle.
There are exits to the south east and the south west from this alcove.
You've overcome the Trapped Hallway. Each PC earns 120 XP
Haruf "Eight-arms" Sefka |
Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11
Haruf tries to hide a smile from seeing the suffering kobold. As the kobold squirms, however, the half-orc can't help but feel sorry for it. Not wanting to fall into another trap, he pauses, waiting for his friends' action.
Alex Anders |
Not knowing what situation to expect from this, Alex only knotched an arrow, ready to shoot at the first threat spotted.
"Let's take this slowly. Looks too easy."
due to life situations, I missed the oppertunity to post Alex buying durable arrows since the changes you made mention of left me with enough gold to buy them. Is it possible to just say those were purchased?
Iulia |
"Perhaps she looks different because she has dragon's blood. I've heard that kobolds often have such - or a half-dragon even!" The half-elf stands with mouth agape as her imagination runs wild.
"She looks like bait, though. Maybe the pile of trash is hiding a monster or... or maybe the bundle is full of alchemical fire!"
Doing what she can, the witch tries a detect magic upon the sight ahead.
Nebten |
The brave heroes stand steadfast at the cavern, wary of the tied up kobold before them.
The kobold shakes her head aggressively when the words of "Bait" "Monster and "alchemical fire" are said. She tries to throw herself on her bum and stretches out her bound hands toward the party in a sign of assistance.
Iulia casts Detect Magic and scans the room.
You detect 6 magical auras coming from the leather bag on top of the pile of refuse.

Kale steps forward into the room. The kobold's eyes widen with joy and shakes her head in a positive fashion. After releasing the kobold from her binds. She stands up a bows in introduction.
(In an Australian accent, or whatever passes as Australia in Golarion).
"Thank ya', mates. I was in a bit of bind there. The name is Nighttail. But, hey! You look like you're changing things 'round here! I've suffered enough at Chief Roaghaz's stupid whims. Since you've helped me, I'll help you! Whatya say?"
Iulia |
Iulia frowns. "That certainly seems like a good proposition..." She walks over and picks up the bags, expecting to find potions.
and everyone does expect Australians to lack duplicity...

Alex Anders |
Having something go easy for once was a pleasing sight. Alex, however, was puzzled that this was easy, let alone what could the kobold have done to warrant this kind of treatment from the others. Lowering his bow, He moved closer to look the kobold over in case that if this situation is genuine, would the kobold need healing. "How long have they kept you bound here? And how can you help?"
Nebten |
1d20 ⇒ 6
"Well, h'elf, I've been bound for a couple of days. Bunch of heathens, these 'bolds are. Walking by and throwing there cores, bones and scat at me. Speaking of which, any of you have any water? My scales are so dry they are going to turn to dust."
Nighttail's eyes grow wide as Iulia meanders over to the back atop the refuse. She reaches out with one of her clawed hands then slowly retracts it after taking a double look at the warriors surrounding her.
"Uhm, yah... those are... I actually need that one... Oh please be careful."
Inside the sack are 3 potions, 2 wends, a topaz and 30 silver pieces. Behind the pile o' poo is a masterwork spear and masterwork leather armor. After the witch's inspection, Nighttail continues on.
"I'm pretty handy with a spear and I have no love for the Blood Vows. Just need to get my mate, Hak. I believe he's down one of these tunnels."
It is obvious that Nighttail truly hates this tribe of his kin.
