The group gathers around preparing for the worse as Dragox pushes the lid off the sarcophagus. Within the resting place laysthe remains of man, his garb is a marvelously preserved robe embroidered with flowers, snakes, and small gemstones. To Rey and Sargon's eye the garmet radiates strong magic, but before anything can happen he strikes with lightning reflexes as if he was laying in wait.
I need run for a few hours but I'll post his action, and the initiative round. I need to run some of his class, stats and abilities thorugh herolab to make sure he is converted properly for the fight.

The first claw catches the paladin and is quickly followed up with one more,

Only one of Dragox blows hit, the others miss. Even the blow that hit doesn't seem to do they type of damage Dragox expected.
Does the hit and damage permit a new save to maintain control?
Likewise, only one of Omar's arrows strike the creature and it too does not do as much damage as expected.

I remember reading something about this guy, he was one of Tzolo's elite bodyguards. His service was rewarded when his mistress gave him powerful undead traits and abilities. If we don't kill him before your spell wears off Sargon, I fear he will be our death!

The creature smiles broadly at paladin. As Dragox hacks into him. The smite evil seems to do the extra damage needed. The creature falls to the floor thoroughly hacked to bits.
It body flitches a few times, then instantly begins to sizzle then there is loud chilly explosion that seems to make the air tempature drop by 30 degrees.
