You all are approaching the end of the module.

One thing that I would have done differently in running the game is your starting level. I would have started everyone at level 11 and gauged the difficulty and level you up if needed.

Pathfinder characters are more robust than 3.0/3.5 characters and it's difficult to create a good dungeon filled trap for pathfinder. Traps are so easy to find and disable with pathfinder, it's a weakness in the conversion. That last trap was probably the only one that actually proved problematic because it had automatic triggers that could not be discovered and disable.

To a degree Omar is over optimized for the trap dealing role. If he had trap spotter, every trap situation would be a walkover pretty much.

Thing about PF is that traps tend to be a binary situation. Either you have a trap specialist, and they are easy, or they screw the players good and hard. The trap specialists are usually too good for the traps to be a hindrance.

I've never thought about it, Omar, but that is a wonderful way to describe the problems with traps in Pathfinder.

I 100% agree with both Baldwin and Omar.In the homegame I run, I don't bother with traps unless I have a character who enjoys that aspect of the game.

I'm assuming there is some sort of epic level boss fight we're about to enter into... Mummies, a lich, some other form of powerful undead, plus mud elementals galore. I guess we'll go down in a blaze of glory at least! :)

Rey had constitutional damage which is what killed her, not hit point damage. Granted she also took hit point damage from the loss of constitution.

I don't think BoL would have worked because that restores HPs not ability damage. Raise dead restores ability damage to a 1.

True, but if I have a magic item on which won't come off, it's generally a safe bet.

Though I guess that could be called metagaming. OTOH, as we've lost our bard, and we're about to go into the final encounter with your main damage source wearing cursed gloves which will make him drop his weapon half the time, I'm willing to metagame a touch.

I'm going to say no on the metagaming change of spell. Mostly because Raise Dead says: "In addition, the subject's soul must be free and willing to return. If the subject's soul is not willing to return, the spell does not work;..." Taht is what happened here the soul did not want to come back but Sargon would not have known this before casting the spell.

I know you will be gimped with only three characters and no true healing. That will be challenging but you are almost done with the adventure. There are only two more scenarios. I will put an item that can help with removing the curse if you make it through the next event.
