It's been a month with no word at all when she has had time to post elsewhere
I was (and still am) excited to play this character
We don't need her. (Though to make up for her lack, either gestalt, the ability to select a second path or a replacement would be handy)
Say the monster belched and killed her character by exploding her eardrums and knocking her hour with it's smell

Sorry, this fell from my focus list and I forgot about it (as I tend to do with things not on the list.). I had gotten very busy at first, and that kinda led to me not tracking anything very well and didn't help when I tried getting everything back on track.
To be honest, pbp really isn't a good medium for me, but sadly, I literally have no other options for play right now.

Been thinking about a few things.
Sorry I haven't posted for the monster yet, but I have somethign to discuss before I move on.
1)
Would it help the pace of the game to actually use initiative, so people have an idea of exactly when they should go?
2)
Secondary charecters are almost certainly going to be a thing.

Please have your monster make a fort save DC 26 or 1d4 ⇒ 4 constitution bleed damage
On a save he "just" takes 1 constitution bleed and 32 regular damage from the critical hit
Even ripping out it's heart we haven't won quite yet
I just realized, depending on how many HD this guy has I did more damage than a max damage spell of the level we could be expected to cast at this level, even if he makes the save and I rolled fairly poor on damage (not on to hit though, obviously :P)
Ok, while I still am fond of the options avalible to casters, I'm starting to see the appeal of martials :P

OMG That was Fri. I could of sworn is was the night before last that I last checked the forums and it was only up to Antony who posted and I decided wait till the other girl went.
I'll bow out if you want. I don't seem to be having much luck with this game. (Actually, I don't seem to be having much luck with any game recently. Maybe malnutrition is starting to catch up to me.)
I'm interested, just don't seem to be handling things very well recently. I don't want to hold you guys back though.

I apologize for my absence, I have a real reason on this occasion. My phone died and had to be recovered. Unfortunately, that meant all my passwords were lost and needed to be found and re-entered. I still have several undone actually.
I am gonna drop this game, at least for a while. I need to fix a lot still, and I am training folks at work for a while which means I won't have my normal amount of access time for a while.

So, we're coming up on our first bit of downtime, so I'm gonna post this campain's special rules on the subject here-
Downtime rules-
During downtime, you can do any of the following using a downtime unit, or preform other special tasks. Every character also has a task unique to them.
General-
Trade for items-
The main way of acquiring Magic items in this campaign.
Select an item of any value, and you'll get an estimate for how many units of downtime it will take to successfully find the item or work up enough funds for it.
Trade for items can also get you roughly your level * 1000 in one use consumables, or singles of exceptionally rare mundane items, like giant spider eggs from drow, a revolver, or a baby wyvern.
Hunt an artifact (minor)-
Functions as trade for items, but takes an unknown amount of time and comes with hazards and risks in dark trading channels.
Hunt an artifact (major)-
Functions as hunt for artifact (minor) but unpon success, you simply gain direction towards the artifact being searched for. A quest must be completed to actually gain the artifact.
Bond with cohort-
Spend time with your cohort, fostering relations.
Spend time in the garden-
The garden is good for relaxing. Rumors abound of people finding thier faith in the gardens, and healing from things they never thought they could recover from.
Aid-
Aid another player, doubling thier progress made during this downtime unit. Doesn't work on some unique tasks.
Preform-
Put on a preformance, usually musical. The people enjoy it, and it might earn you some respect.
Further cause-
Help a side of the war. The more you ally yourself, the more physical features show up.
Training-
Work towards an extra feat in your free time. The more complex the feat, the longer this takes. Feats that give nothing but a numerical bouns (such as weapon foucs) are discouraged, but allowed.

Question: how many units of time do we get (I vaguely remember you telling me four... Or maybe three)
What can we make with our parts?
Does making something with the parts count as an action
La'Vassa has a bunch of feathers, bones scales and flesh in the wing she grabbed
Anthony has a pair of eyeballs
Maybe he could turn the eyeballs into lenses of detect spells like detect charm, undead curse magic etc
With two eyeballs I could probably get at least two spells detectable

how many units of downtime would it cost to get the "Combat Stamina" feat
Are you going "free for everyone" "free for full BAB classes" "free for fighters" "anyone can take it as a feat" or "only fighters can take it as a feat"
Each of these are outlined in the options for the feat for DMs
La'Vassa needs it if she's going to be wrestling things larger than her.

Just train to grapple things larger the you. I'll find a way to make it work.
Making somethign with the parts doesn't count as an action, but you don't learn what they do until you actually use them.
In the case of some parts however, like eyeballs, they're mostly good for making magic items suited in that slot.
For example, each eyeball would be worth about 3500 gp of Magic item, but only in the lenses slot. They can be added together.
