Eldritch Blast (Ref) v Red 4 (1d20 9=21, 1d10 7=9, 1d8=1)
Move to H11. Concealment gained.
Akahale sploshes unhappily through the mud and aims a half-hearted blast of dark energy at cultist 4.
"My rod is not operating reliably," he informs Grafile, sotto voce.
| Grafire Serpenthelm |
Akahale - when I play my warlock tiefling, for the concealment part I would move my 3 squares and role a stealth check. That way you gain total concealment and allow the thugs to take a counter check just in case you fail they will still be able to see you. Unless of course Fabes plays it differently. :D

All of this mud has worn on the Dragonborn. Grafire digs deep in to his resolve and finds a renewed energy as he focuses on Bahamut.
Warlord strike on Thug 3:
1d20+13=31
Damage - 2d10+9=24
-Hit: Battle Axe [2d10] + 5 Strength modifier damage. Until the end of your next turn, all of your allies gain a +2 bonus to damage rolls against the target.
-Inspiring Presence: The bonus to damage rolls equals 1 + 3 Charisma modifier. Total power bonus to damage +4

The Stealth issue
Copied direct from the Compendium.
Stealth: At the end of a move action.
Opposed Check: Stealth vs. passive Perception. If multiple enemies are present, your Stealth check is opposed by each enemy’s passive Perception check. If you move more than 2 squares during the move action, you take a –5 penalty to the Stealth check. If you run, the penalty is –10.
Becoming Hidden: You can make a Stealth check against an enemy only if you have superior cover or total concealment against the enemy or if you’re outside the enemy’s line of sight. Outside combat, the DM can allow you to make a Stealth check against a distracted enemy, even if you don’t have superior cover or total concealment and aren’t outside the enemy’s line of sight. The distracted enemy might be focused on something in a different direction, allowing you to sneak up.
Success: You are hidden, which means you are silent and invisible to the enemy.
Failure: You can try again at the end of another move action.
Remaining Hidden: You remain hidden as long as you meet these requirements.
Keep Out of Sight: If you no longer have any cover or concealment against an enemy, you don’t remain hidden from that enemy. You don’t need superior cover, total concealment, or to stay outside line of sight, but you do need some degree of cover or concealment to remain hidden. You can’t use another creature as cover to remain hidden.
Keep Quiet: If you speak louder than a whisper or otherwise draw attention to yourself, you don’t remain hidden from any enemy that can hear you.
Keep Still: If you move more than 2 squares during an action, you must make a new Stealth check with a –5 penalty. If you run, the penalty is –10. If any enemy’s passive Perception check beats your check result, you don’t remain hidden from that enemy.
Don’t Attack: If you attack, you don’t remain hidden.
Not Remaining Hidden: If you take an action that causes you not to remain hidden, you retain the benefits of being hidden until you resolve the action. You can’t become hidden again as part of that same action.
Enemy Activity: An enemy can try to find you on its turn. If an enemy makes an active Perception check and beats your Stealth check result (don’t make a new check), you don’t remain hidden from that enemy. Also, if an enemy tries to enter your space, you don’t remain hidden from that enemy.
In a nutshell, I don't think he can become hidden based on this. He can't try to become hidden unless he's got superior cover or total concealment. Mind you, if he ever ends up lurking among trees, he will give it a try.
The -2 to ranged attacks helps a lot, particularly with the cloak of distortion which makes him -2 to ranged beyond 5 squares anyway. They don't stack, but even so, anyone attempting to blast the paranoid one off the planet is usually doing so at a penalty.

Not our map, but I think I found ours! To the left of the big map is a scroller with 296of his maps posted. I think ours is the one that says #1, 'you are at the beginning'. If that is correct,...
MAnny slogs forward through the sticky morass that their battlefield has become. He nears IT and Grafire, and asks,
"HOw's it goin'? Nice day for a trudge through the sludge, isn't it?" He asks cheerfully. He lowers his staff towards the blue-robed caster.
"YOU, on the other hand, are seriously getting on my nerves!" He declares happily in that same cheerful voice, with the same happy grin, as a barrage of thunder pours forth from his staff. The noise and force batter at the blue-robed caster, trying to literally pick him up and slam him down again,...
Many moves to E15, should put Caster 2 within 10 spaces if I'm looking at the right map. Fire off encounter power Spectral Ram, att vs Fort, dmg is force.

Squelching doggedly onwards, Akahale squints into the rain and sets his sights on the pair of thugs assailing Seram and Rowan. Crisply cursing the nearest foe, he follows up with a blast of dark energy.

"There would be no sound prior to transmission of the energy field as the source is in fact drawn from the soundless vacuum of the dark spaces between the planes. As we saw, on arrival, the blast delivers a noise, although this is often difficult to discern through the screams of the victim."
Akahale delivers a short lecture on the properties of eldritch power.

Double moved Grafire. Mystic 1 misses Seram with Dagon's Fang. Mystic 2 hits It (23 vs Ref) and Manny (22 vs Ref) with Storm of the Ocean Lord. It and Manny take 15 cold damage each and are immobilised until the end of the cultist's next turn.
Manny and his mechanical manservant feel a chill blast freeze them to the ground.
Seram and Manny's turn.

Eyes whirling with dark energy, Akahale's rod mis-fires as he attempts to follow up his destructive path by flattening Red 2. Snuffling irritably, he moves into the trees, wrapping himself in shadow as he does so.
Move to N12 - concealment gained. Partial cover as well or do they not stack?

So in this case with Akahale, how would the shadow step come into play? It says the warlock takes 3 steps and stealth right? So does it realy just negate the minuses if he moves his full movement? Isn't standard stealth up to 2 or 3 squares and then you take a minus?
I am really cusrious on what you guys think about this because I want to play it right with my warlock on paper pencil games.
