K.
How bout the mage hand question? Squirrel weighs pound+1/2.
Another question. Are things I make using my oracle powers (armour, weapons, create wood,) considered broken by my curse?

Image Male Fuzzy Little Squirrel Wild Caller Summoner/Sorcerer

And not on me. I specified a plate or other object with me on it for that reason, still under 5 pounds.

Figment Narrator 20

I have a fewcouple simple points off the top of my head

so casters can't be levitated by this, nor people with spell like abilities, nor a wizard's familiar,

you aren't levitating the fey, you are levitating the plate, surface tension holds the fey up

Well I guess we are having squirrel for dinner

It also specifies objects, which already throws that out. This is a special case because we are itty bitty characters.

M Extrodinaraly Contrary Meatbag Fourm pyromancer 1

All but the armor, witch is not an actual suit of armor.

The object must also be unattended.

Image Male Fuzzy Little Squirrel Wild Caller Summoner/Sorcerer

So no mage hand. That's fine.
What if I use Wood Bond?

Wood Bond wrote:
(Ex): Your mystical bond with wood is such that your weapons become an extension of your body. You gain a +1 competence bonus on attack rolls when wielding a weapon made of or mostly consisting of wood (such as a bow, club, quarterstaff, or spear). This bonus increases by +1 at 5th level and every five levels thereafter.

It says that they become an extension of my body, which would mean that they wouldn't be broken anymore, right?

M Extrodinaraly Contrary Meatbag Fourm pyromancer 1

That's metaphorical.

The curse isn't meant to be easily overcome.

I would say so but I am not the dm

M Extrodinaraly Contrary Meatbag Fourm pyromancer 1

Here is the effects of a broken weapon-

If the item is a weapon, any attacks made with the item suffer a –2 penalty on attack and damage rolls. Such weapons only score a critical hit on a natural 20 and only deal ×2 damage on a confirmed critical hit.

M Extrodinaraly Contrary Meatbag Fourm pyromancer 1

Also, how do you plan on properly holding a weapon?

squirrels have opposable thumbs

The topic opposable thumb is discussed in the following articles:

...capable of grasping objects such as branches. Not all primates have similarly dextrous hands; only the catarrhines (Old World monkeys, apes, and humans) and a few of the lemurs and lorises have an opposable thumb. Primates are not alone in having grasping feet, but as these occur in many other arboreal mammals (e.g., squirrels and opossums), and as most present-day primates are arboreal, this...

I have hand-claw-things.
Do I have a claw attack?
I have a bite attack that sucks balls. I just need some kind of melee damage.

No claw attack.

I just want you to get creative with your descriptions of how you hold your weapon.

Btw, a great-sword deals 1d6 at your size, so is your 1d2 really that bad?

My max damage right now is 5 so yes is not that bad

Image Male Fuzzy Little Squirrel Wild Caller Summoner/Sorcerer

My bite would actually do negative damage if that were possible...

M Extrodinaraly Contrary Meatbag Fourm pyromancer 1
Fanz Leaffur wrote:

Yeah. It would. Because your str is bad, not your weapon damage.

Rely on your spells or get creative.

Possibly use splash weapons, or a crossbow.

Which will all be broken!

M Extrodinaraly Contrary Meatbag Fourm pyromancer 1

-2 to hit and damage with a crossbow.
The crossbow, at your size, will deal 1d3.

Splash weapons hit even if they miss, and are actually separate from weapons, and as such, take no penalty from being broken.
They will deal 1d2 at your size, or 1 splash.

Shadow Lodge

Male. Vaguely humanoid Ninja 3/Bard 1/Ranger 2/Scholar 1

just a -2 to hit/damage

heck use spells, your healing spells will be very useful

Image Male Fuzzy Little Squirrel Wild Caller Summoner/Sorcerer

Screw it. Taking Wooden Weapon. At higher levels, the bonus will outweigh the penalty.

I will be happy to figure out what my secondary weapon should be

M Extrodinaraly Contrary Meatbag Fourm pyromancer 1

Found something.

if you can afford a feat take this and select "acid splash" and whatever else you want.

You now have a 1d3 at range no sr touch attack, useful for your size, though not the best feat in the endgame, it can be retrained for a fee later.

don't oracles already get some of those though?

Lord Foul II wrote:

Nope.

Most offensive cantrip they have is bleed.

M Extrodinaraly Contrary Meatbag Fourm pyromancer 1

Just retexture this, and take acid splash.

Image Male Fuzzy Little Squirrel Wild Caller Summoner/Sorcerer

Why don't I just take that thing Alchemist guy talked about and choose any cantrip?

M Extrodinaraly Contrary Meatbag Fourm pyromancer 1

You can only choose a non-damaging cantrip.

Image Male Fuzzy Little Squirrel Wild Caller Summoner/Sorcerer

Should I pick cone of cold or jolt for my other trait?

Image Male Fuzzy Little Squirrel Wild Caller Summoner/Sorcerer

It doesn't say that.

M Extrodinaraly Contrary Meatbag Fourm pyromancer 1

First, Ray of frost.

Come of cold is a 5th level spell.

Jolt is a rare cantrip, making more sense for a lightning Mage.

Though ray of frost makes just as little sense for you.

I personally would choose acid splash as your offensive cantrip, as acid is accociating with earth in pathfinder.

M Extrodinaraly Contrary Meatbag Fourm pyromancer 1

Oh, cool. I found the wrong trait.

Anyway, take what you want.

Image Male Fuzzy Little Squirrel Wild Caller Summoner/Sorcerer

I always get those two mixed up...

Jolt is the static from being fuzzy.... :P

I guess acid splash works. Makes sense.

Maybe I could pick Root? That really makes sense for me.

M Extrodinaraly Contrary Meatbag Fourm pyromancer 1

Root is a little powerful for a cantrip, but makes sense for you. So, I'll let you be able to cast it, but with a range of "personal"

M Extrodinaraly Contrary Meatbag Fourm pyromancer 1

I would like to aplogize to those who have had to sit through this.

I hope it didn't offput you.

Image Male Fuzzy Little Squirrel Wild Caller Summoner/Sorcerer

Meh. I don't see myself using it. I need to be mobile.
Never mind.
Going with Acid Splash and Prestidigitation.
Why is jolt rare, anyways? There's a same level spell for the other three elements...

Ya. Sorry about all this. Trying to finalize character ideas is tough.
Oracles are hard. :/

M Extrodinaraly Contrary Meatbag Fourm pyromancer 1

Because it was made on the forms, and is unofficial in every way.

What?
What is unofficial?

M Extrodinaraly Contrary Meatbag Fourm pyromancer 1

All "rare" cantrips.

Shadow Lodge

Male. Vaguely humanoid Ninja 3/Bard 1/Ranger 2/Scholar 1

it's pathfinder's way of doing stuff

WotC, when they see someone else do something that they like, they buy/ask for the concept and then print it in the next book

Pathfinder is all like "oh, hey, that works, well then, if you want to use that, use their's, it works fine, I'm going to move on to the next thing"

Image Male Fuzzy Little Squirrel Wild Caller Summoner/Sorcerer

But why don't they just have a spell for that already? They have one for every other normal elemental type. That's what I'm confused about. Either way. Just wasting space now.
Character is done.

M Extrodinaraly Contrary Meatbag Fourm pyromancer 1

As a reminder-

You aren't "humanoid".
Enlarge person doesn't work.

Shadow Lodge

Male. Vaguely humanoid Ninja 3/Bard 1/Ranger 2/Scholar 1

well, is there an analogous, enlarge Fey?

M Extrodinaraly Contrary Meatbag Fourm pyromancer 1

Nope. Just the higher level enlarge monster.

M Extrodinaraly Contrary Meatbag Fourm pyromancer 1

Alright, everyone-

Your starting clothes are worth 500 or so coins (50gp) as they are made of spider silk. You only start with one, but they are nearly indestructible, so you usually don't have to worry about getting new ones.

However, washing them can be a challenge.

Shadow Lodge

Male. Vaguely humanoid Ninja 3/Bard 1/Ranger 2/Scholar 1

why would washing them be difficult?

M Extrodinaraly Contrary Meatbag Fourm pyromancer 1

You have to take them off first.

Cloth isn't cheap, because of how hard it is to make at this size- most people don't have a second pair of clothes.

I presume a point in 'Craft: Leafworking' would allow us to make plant-clothes for free?

Troll(halforc) 1

craft 1/3rd cost pf mundane crafting rules are horrible and slow.
