Gwynn Cleary |

Gwynn swallows hard at the suggestion. Okay... She said, walking up.
Hey there, hons. She said. If you don't mind, me and my group here have a tight schedule to keep, but thank you for making this easy for us. We'll be back for the next report. She turned, blowing a kiss and waving goodbye, as soon as she turned, she made a face to the rest of her group that told them. Power-walk, people.
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (18) + 8 = 26

Lanliss Seldlon |

Sorry guys. We don't have any idea. Serious slip-up on my part.
Forget everything from my last post to here.
Redo
Lanliss turns to Gwynn He whispers.
I wonder what they're whispering about
Also my other BT sheets don't work with the links either. I'll transfer the info to another character sheet.

Lanliss Seldlon |

"Maybe. They seem secretive. But then again, they could be talking about what their boss wants for his next meal.

Lanliss Seldlon |

Well, we have no reason to stay. Boron is done talking. Though if we leave suddenly, it may look suspicious.

![]() |

Azrael stares at the guard, wondering what in the Heavens is he thinking and why him.

Lanliss Seldlon |

Lanliss looks at Azrael and notices him staring.
"What's wrong?"

![]() |

"That guard... I swear to the Lord that he is giving me flirting eyes, I don't know. Since we entered this place I seem to be unfocused."

Seraphina Firedancer |

"I think you need a better read on Orc facial structure," Serephina murmured, "Because I think it was more of 'I'm glaring at you in distrust.' Of course, feel free to hit him up. Maybe he wants to cuddle."

![]() |

"Distrust or flirt, no good at all anyway. We should be leaving now, slow and steady... but be prepared to fight our way out of this. Inform the rest." says Azrael as he signals the group to move towards the exit

Abel The Wanderer |

I did happen to notice a rather suspicious looking part of the floor. Wouldn't want the guards to know that we know Abel speaks in Elven rather than common hoping at least one of his other companions can speak it as well

Gwynn Cleary |

Gwynn winks and blows a kiss at the man right after his glare. If anything, she was hoping to catch him off guard. Though her inner monologue was asking. Why did I just do that?
Don't listen to Seraphina. Of course he is, Azrael. You've got that... chiselled hero look to you. She slaps him gently on the shoulder, smiling at him.
I'll talk to them, if you want. Maybe I can salvage things.

Lanliss Seldlon |

Hearing Abel speak on Lanliss's native tongue suprises Lanliss, but he recovers
in elven
Suspicious how?

Abel The Wanderer |

It was much cleaner than the rest of the floor, their were holes in the floor as if rivet's were supposed to be there, but they were not. It might be something worth us looking into, i believe something is being hidden. which is why i did not bring it up in Common, just in case so it would not be known that i had seen something Abel Continues in Elven

GM Smashomancer |

Unsure if it's player or character confusion, but the holes and clean square on the floor were meant
At this point I should point out that there are three doors to this rather spacious room. The door people have entered and exited through, and two side-by-side bay doors that are shut and too heavy to lift. Some basic knowledge of factory layouts might suggest the switch and/or button to open them is 9/10 times going to be in the small office cubicle lined with the stench of... victory. We'll go with victory.
2

Lanliss Seldlon |

So, ignore the thing you said about the floor?
So... Which door?

Lanliss Seldlon |

Lanliss pauses. He walks to the door they came in through.
Are they standing on the other side? Oh, Kalmista guide me.
I'm going to open the door, be ready, they may be on the other side.
With that, Lanliss opens the door.

GM Smashomancer |

Lanliss pauses. He walks to the door they came in through.

With that, Lanliss opens the door.

After opening the door, Lanliss sees...
He SEES...
The same thing as last time. The open doorway reintroducing the sounds of whirring machinery in their full volume to his ears. Only now, the two guards from the previous room are standing just outside of the office, and Boron is wayyy on the other side of the large room, applying a wrench to the back of the cookie dispenser.
"Ey, hands in the air!" One of the guards shouts at Lanliss, drawing attention from the guard at the door the party entered from.

![]() |

"Darn. Do we make a run or we stay and fight?" asks Azrael as he puts a hand over his scythe staff.
Maybe they only want to give us cookies! ^^

Seraphina Firedancer |

"I doubt prisoners are treated to tea and crumpets, and if we run we'll bring the whole place down on us in one go." Serephina agreed, moving to fight.

Gwynn Cleary |

Gwynn swallowed. Well, looks like it's blood. She thought, taking a step forward.
What is this insolence? our employer will have your heads for this! I command you alll to put down your weapons.
Intimidate: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
Well, I think I made them laugh.

![]() |

"Oi mate, we are leaving. This is a kind offer to step aside and avoid unnecessary violence. But by the Old Lord, we are leaving."
Initiative: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25

Lanliss Seldlon |

Initiative: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13
Lanliss draws his rifle and grits his teeth

![]() |

As the guard starts to run, so does Azrael. Gaining speed as he moves Azrael makes a quick spin before crashing into the guard, using the opening to smash the guard'• flank with the wooden shaft.
Full round to charge, non lethally
Attack: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (6) + 9 = 15
Non Lethal Damage: 2d4 + 7 ⇒ (3, 4) + 7 = 14

Abel The Wanderer |

Abel moves into the room, closing the distance between himself and a guard. Let us pray to not be sheltered from dangers, but to be fearless while facing them
He's using a standard action to activate his advice ability, it works as Inspire courage. basically +1 to attack and weapon damage. His performance is Oratory so give me a moment to think of something in character to say.
(Su): A 1st level sensei can use his performance to inspire courage in his allies (including himself), bolstering them against fear and improving their combat abilities. To be affected, an ally must be able to perceive the Sensei’s performance. An affected ally receives a +1 morale bonus on saving throws against charm and fear effects and a +1 competence bonus on attack and weapon damage rolls.

Lanliss Seldlon |

Lanliss raises his rifle and a small spark of electricity shoots out.
attack roll for spark, ranged touch attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11

GM Smashomancer |

Luckily, the only party member who's engaging in melee charged far away from the AoE of sleep.
Azraels blade is guided true (well, the non-stabby end. So, not the blade), directly on target, the human man gasps for air.
The water-born waxes wisely whilst withdrawing wanton wisdoms from within.
Seraphina chooses not to kill someone.
As shouting quickly escalates into violence, the nearly dozen unarmed workers start to leave in a hurry, avoiding the combatants as much as possible.
The display of sparks Lanliss fires are not an uncommon sight in the industrial district, and no more harmful than usual this time.
Gwynn gently waves the bell from the bottom of the red string, causing the guards in front of her to stumble to and fro. They regain their senses quickly however.
Oh, screw this, I'm outta here! Boron loudly declares his next course of action as he slams a panel shut on the robot.
Awright ya hunk a' scrap and gears, kill! Boron loudly declares the robots next course of action as he points to the quiet bodyguard, Azrael. He proceeds to move his way out of the building. Move action.
Guards 1 and 2 both head in a straight line in front of them, Guard 1 provoking an Attack of opportunity from Abel on his charging lane, heading towards the would-be enchantress. Mean while, guard 2 attacks Abel, who is blocking his way.
Guard 2 attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11
Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Guard 1 charge: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11
damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11
The robot churns with life as it moves disturbingly fast to strike the Paladin from the side. It's arms whir with exposed gears as it swings widely overhead. The Bronze top hat holds tight. Evidently, whomever crafted this construct thought it could do with head gear as well.
Gear Sentry: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13
damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
If it connects:
Grab: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13
constrict: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8 The exposed gears turn out to have a brutal apparent function, this design would give OHSA officials an aneurysm if they caught wind of it.
The guard Azrael checked now tries to strike in retaliation, since there's no back-up like murder robot back-up. Unfortunately, he doesn't seem to be swinging non lethally.
guard 3 attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19
damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10
Side note: Since the line between construct and robot will be fuzzy for now, I'll let PC's use Know: Arcana, or Know: Engineering for the next couple fights while I decide what knowledge skill to put them under. I 'm thinking Arcana but I'm open to opinions in the discussion tab.

"Damned robot, I don't want any cookies!" says Azrael as he dodges the powerful slam, just to end being hitted by the guard, [/b]"You should follow yer boss and run."[/b]
Swift to LoH myself, then let's try and knock this guy out.
Lay on Hands: 2d6 ⇒ (3, 5) = 8

Abel swiftly dodges the guards attack and goes to strike the charging guard in the neck
Free action to maintain advice, Abel moves toward the charging guard if he isn't knocked out to continue his attack, if he is downed by the Aoo Abel Stays and attacks the guard attacking him
