I've had good luck with claiming the [DESCRIPTORS] are just powers that people can have affiliations with.
Ultimate Intrigue strongly implied it detects the colours of people's current thoughts.
Presumably Detect Magic might help us work out who has been mind controlled by the Fox Priest.

Note that Imix IS Lawful Evil. He's not got an Aura, but he probably should, and in one HD he'll detect as Lawful and Evil.

Suriname were the werecrocodiles, and I was intrigued by the idea of taking something that was almost a bugbearesque loner-sociopath and turning it into something helpful to society.
It was one of the reasons I wanted Utzi to have beaten Imix. Imix accepts Utzi as a leader on an instinctive level. He's a terrible leader not because he doesn't empathise (he doesn't) but because his instincts push him to bully his inferiors.
Even now, he's helping other PCs because he - and the kingdom he serves - needs them. Empathy? Care? No, if the children endangered his goals he'd kill them all.
Even donating his goods to try to save the town was because he was giving his boss (the king) a way to save face without having to destroy his own town.
I think he's done one genuinely good act all story, and it backfired.


I'll jump back into this alignment discussion later when I've got some moments.

Imix is grabbing Thom's body - he's been killing himself trying to understand what those crow things are.
He will then grab any obviously valuable goods from Galton - thinking the earthbreaker and food - and walk back to Triage.

Istiel is grabbing Rigel's dagger, Rigel's body, and her torn sleeve of her robe (with the intent of sowing it back on later), and leaving with the others to go to the triage as Oios suggested.

Still working on leveling up just needing to pick new sphere and talent but during the process I realized that I would have been much better to have started with 1 level Bloodrager instead of barbarian, I think.

Was there a reason I might not have selected this, like a bar on selecting that class? The fire elemental bloodline would have been fitting and the spell point bonus would have helped.

As I read more, apparently Drazan can already fly. The only complication is he cant be On Fire and fly at the same time, right now. The elemental Alteration ability pretty much let's a caster go anywhere.

Both Tex and Bellet live in the area the twister went through. I thought that Bellet would probably have a better (more colorful) reaction, but since it is Imix's surge, Tex seemed the right choice.

There's two I've been looking at - the Clever Wordplay trait and the SoP Wizardry Training trait. Is it possible to get the latter applied to Suriname Magic?

I like this. I'd say keep alignment as a guide for your character, but if you want to add loyalties, go for it (and Oios certainly should, since one of his powers will run off comparison to his loyalties).

A little powerful for a trait, but then you all are a little powerful for third level PCs. Looks good to me!

Added Loyalties on character sheet. They're pretty much what you'd expect

1. Faith
2. Country
3. Allies

Of course the convenient wrinkle is that Oios considers his faith to be a very community focused one (which means it prioritizes country and allies anyway).

At this point 'Country' doesn't really exist anyway. I guess that should be changed to 'Community'.

Sorry I wasn't clear Bp- Istiel is going to the High Hall to drop off Rigel for rights, then immediately heading to the palisade with Naira. Unless something important happens at High Hall, she'd to be at the Palisade.

She can come in with the next post at the palisade, or not, whatever works in the narrative.


OK, there's no one at High Hall at the moment (you'll pass the main gate at the ghats where Scree is). You'll arrive at the palisade shortly after Naira.

So, like, I don't want people to hate my choices in Spheres, but I think that Greater Weather makes the most sense for me. 140ft radius to 560ft radius for my weather effects.

Hmmmm Istiel will, first and foremost, be fixing her robes, or having a professional sew it up.. I'm sure Naira could mend them too, but she probably won't ask. She might ask Naira to mend her mask though (it got beat up by Thom), because she can't do anything about that. I dunno, the claw marks are probably cool-looking.

I need to make a post about Istiel unlocking her Ki, but I'm tired... So we'll say Istiel is going to be practicing using her time powers, ki powers, and guarding Naira while she is investigating the tainted grove.

Imix could use a certain number of his channels every day to heal us/others?

What Oios does depends on what the rest of the leaders say. But he would probably help Naira with the investigation, try and get to the bottom of why half the soliders hate each other, and help get the stores ready for quick transport.
