@GM: I think what Thorn means is that Invisibility Purge has a duration and while it's in effect, no invisibility at all. You could allow the Elder duergar a Spellcraft check to see if that's what Burdock did and know that chugging a potion would be meaningless, though. invisibility purge spell

Male Human Inquistor 4/ Unbreakable Fighter 1 | HP 43/43| AC 20 T 12 FF 18| Fort +8 Ref +3 Will +6 | CMD 20 | Init +6 | Perception +10

I meant that I assumed the GM knew how the spell functioned and simply forgot about it. Likely that was their intended escape plan it just didnt help. The AoO thing was likely just the GM not used to Grint having said feat for long.

I had thought it was a radius burst, as he said it just reveals.
Invisibility purge has not come up yet in games i play in, pardon the mistake in that case.
And what Thorn said.

If that was the case, he'd make a run for it.
Still provoking that hit, he does a run action, 80 feet south towards the exit.

Assuming you chase him, going all Benny hill on him for 3 rounds, Grint can make 3 rounds worth of single shots at him, before he has enough distance to his 'safe exit'. I.E. dangerous territory.

This should then give Thorn, Sivar 3 AoOs back as the creature tries to run away and give Grint a full round of attacks the First round.. Elsa could also close distance quickly.

He motions to the area, " N-Now let us see what t-they have and if it h-has the diamond we r-require. "
Thorn started to pace back to the origin of the encounter.

Fair chance you have properly confiscated their latest haul of gems.
Gems of a variety of darker colors, ranging from auburn to dark brown, a few a dark green. No diamond among them however.

Green lookout is entangled, but the Duergar still stands, now swearing foul words at Elsa.
Can i assume you move closer towards the map?
You'd be 15 feet outside of its border.

@GM: Is any of the materials for the guardpost wooden, particularly doors or walkways? And any rope that is visible?

No visible rope.
I did, i'm getting an idea what you're going for, mention the door was wooden. The walls are reinforced though.

Only so many spells left so gotta be creative!

Burdock hustles forward, trying to reach the output, a plan forming.

Run action to move 4x my speed since we're 100 feet out, that puts me 20' away from the front door. AC is effectively flat-footed as I lose my Dex mod for running

With Father Burdock rushing forth towards the gates, both dwarves shoot at the duergar.
Bolts: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 161d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 131d8 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 91d8 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9
Their bolts end up in the wooden walls. They move closer afterwards.

Blue lookout grabs something from his belt, and slings it towards the square centered at Father Burdock, Grint & Thorn.
Automatic pass, not going to roll vs AC 5.
A cloud of spores emerges.
Ok, you three, fort DC 17 please.
The cloud lasts 2 more rounds, moving through clouded squares calls for another save.

Pink guard moves out of his bunk.

The outpost, round 2

Green tears off his cloak, to drop it onto he shining arrow.
Not rolling vs AC 5, as he auto passes.
Things go dark again.
Red gets up the scaffolding's ladder and into position.
