Nevermind about the Gameplay thing - I hit post on something I wrote last night only to realize you did in the interim.

You mentioned if I was interested in your PbP, if you are still interested in having me aboard let me know. Had to dig around your thread listing to get an idea.

In the meantime I'll be lurking around and seeing how everything develops and try to put together a character concept intended to mold well if and when I am allowed in. Looking to be a lot of fun so far!

One last thing, assuming you are still interested in me joining up, if it is PFS are you looking PFS Core, a specific Scenario, and/or are you looking for "official" PFS characters with numbers and all or are you looking more for casual un-recorded play? Will you have an OOC thread as well as an IC Thread? So many questions!

Once I have a clear idea where you want to go from here I can post a preferred character at that time for everyone to look over.

I plan on making a Gnome Cleric of Desna (Silver Crusade Faction) and hope to have a drafted character here soon. Do you have a preference on a specific format? I typically try to model the NPC Codex Stat Blocks as best as I can and use the Alias "profile" as a place for my stat block/history/background detail. If you'd like for me to include a copy of the character in the OOC thread please let me know!

*EDIT* Scratch that, looks like you have a lot of links in the Campaign page. Still getting used to Paizo's Campaign format. Also found your Character Template guidelines included here which I will use for my character going forward. You have a lot of great resources here! Dotting in literally means to go to the Gameplay thread and write "dot" or "." This allows the game to be tracked on your Campaign thread and your character to show up in the characters tab.

Personally, I often will dot and delete my comment (which works just fine on both accounts), just because it seems to keep the gameplay thread a bit cleaner.

This sounds like a great idea! I've gone ahead and done just that. Tried posting it with Zot's Alias but no dice. At least my name is on the list at the very least. Thanks for your help!

*EDIT* Seems the Server hasn't been too stable lately, Zot is now listed. Still polishing off the Fluff of the character, though for the most part the Crunch and basic personality are all fleshed out.

Comments/suggestions welcome as this will be my first PbP on the Paizo Boards and there seems to be a bit of a learning curve to fully understand everything.

Hello everyone! Name is Chris aka Dices Muse, I'll be playing as Zot, your friendly Divinely Blessed Traveling Cook! Been playing Pathfinder since it's inception (I still have the printed out "3.5 to Pathfinder" rules!) though only just recently started lurking on Paizo.

After meeting MikeBramnik at a local convention for my first PFS game I've been spending more and more time here. Since then I've ran at least one PFS game and have another Evergreen planned in just over a month. Really looking forward to some amazing fate-weaving with everyone involved!

Wow! An Occult adventure Psychic class, I didn't even put much thought into check out that classes in that book, now I may just some time to do that! And one that is a dwarf who controls the earth for Mining, I absolutely love the theme and take on the class!

I took some of the format of your character sheet and applied it to my character sheet and also plan to use it to help keep track of my Bard, hope you don't mind!

Also just noticed I didn't purchase my journal and ink, think I should add that in before we get started huh? And luckily I just happen to have the 10gp to spare too.

Not a problem on the formatting stuff, I like it and all are welcome to use it, or ask any questions about how I did it. As for Occult Adventures, Kineticist I'm still unsure about it's a good Damage dealer with some odd needs like really needing both CON and DEX pretty badly with no real way around it (all the different elements play slightly differently). I like Psychic a lot, it's basically a re-imagined sorcerer, the rest I could take or leave.

Well lets see, there's 'shroom stew, 'shroom casserole, 'shroom ketchup, 'shroom ri-zotto, 'shrooms and rice, rabbit wit' 'shrooms o' course, 'shroom porridge wit'a side a bacon, 'shroom bread and some meat, well you know mostly if it got some 'shrooms we Dwarves'll prolly like it. Oh and a side o' 'shroom ale ne'er hurts. Though to be fair, if ya' got some drink, I'll try pretty much any food ya' put in front o' me.

This is my first time playing a Pathfinder game pbp as well, and only my third time actually playing PFS. Though not necessarily my first time playing in this type of rodeo. Both TheDireGM and BartonOliver have been really helpful already with insuring my character is up to snuff. I'll also offer my help if you are ever in need!

Really excited as well @Incendiaeternus! Wasn't sure what exactly to play myself, as PbP is a format I've not delved with before though always wanted. Thought a traveling cleric would fit the ticket, especially when using a Pathfinder agent to discover exotic recipes and ingredients. Spice things up with a good (yet tragic) love story and I'm hoping I'm off to a great start!

Really like the look of your character so far, Ulfan are among my favorite Humans of Golarian, right up there with Varisian and Tian. Looking forward to the story about to unfold!

Two of our players are having hectic weeks, so I'm going to go ahead and start momentarily, and let them get their character sheets up in the next day or two.

Also, with Gen Con coming up, I know posting will be slow - so no worries if people don't get chances to respond (I know I'll be incommunicado from Wednesday morning until Sunday night!)

I was invited to join the group and thought this might be an interesting character.

This is a brand new character, 0 XP.

If it is alright with others, I'll dot and delete in gameplay and then come rushing in...only slightly late!

Again I am SO sorry for the delay - now it's on my end... moving in 2 days and things are getting hectic. BUT - I will be posting sometime today. If I don't, you have my permission to fire me out of a cannon or some other piece of siege equipment.

I guess we should start by deciding what we should target with said cannon or other implement of launching.

Some ideas I have include:
* Blueberry patch (even prestidigitation will not get those stains out!)
* A pie stand (why settle for a single pie in the face when we can cover the whole body)
* Velcro netting covered in itching powder (make our GM itch to get the game going too)
* House of a crazy cat lady (one swarm of angry cats coming up!)

On a more serious note, hope the move went well. Every one of my moves has been a mess, and the unpacking takes much longer than the packing ever does.

Naw, Siege Equipment is not necessary unless your giving the Rogue a ballista and setting them in-front of the walls of Nerosyan. Then I get to squee and cause mahem in the name of good.

No issue, get the whole moving thing. Just found more boxes from my move this week. I've been quiet jumping through transfer paperwork (and new sets of shots....stupid changing vaccination requirements).

Zot nods affirmatively towards Kegan "Well he IS a GM, I had always thought 'God-like' was implied. What hurt can a pie do to a GM anyway?"

Zot ponders a moment, "Just to be on the side of caution, I can use my mother's favorite food-fight'n blueberry muff'n pie recipe to cook up the crust just right, that way it makes a good display AND feels like falling into a pool of blueberry jelly goodness! Win win for everyone involved, yes?"

Oh boy this is going to be fun...

You should make sure the GM likes Blueberry pie first :P
