Halfway through helping Kahwen with the frogs, Farket straightens with a dawning look of confusion, then anger, on his face. He turns to the Oracle: "By Gorum's beard, this isn't right. I don't know much about human Gods, but isn't Aroden the God that died? " Turning to the gillman; "Do you think this is some kinda funny, watching us chasin' frogs and fish for your dead God and your strange amusement? Do ya? What're you about, fishface? Why don't ya just answer my questions from before and we'll be on our way, huh?" Farket is in control but the others in the party can see the colour rising in his face - it makes his scars stand out like a scarlet patchwork. He has the feeling that someone is making fun of him and he doesn't like it...

Be at peace, Farket. Remember, these interpretations are based on the inscriptions that we discovered.
Nonetheless, rather than spend too much time chasing after frogs, perhaps we should record the rituals and continue to cleanse these tunnels.

"Grrah! This is dumb! Pathfinders, fine. Frogfinders, for a dead God and a fishman, no way!" Farket looks angrily around the room, clearly considering swinging at the model city with one armoured fist. He restrains himself, just. "Bah!" He looks at the rest of the group in exasperation.

the fish has been caught. all that is left is to "SCARE" The frogs

![]() |

Kahwen sees that the frogs are still infesting the miniature city as Koani ferries the fish into the diorama.
If we had a fire and a spit, we could take care of these frogs permanently, he says.
But, since there is no time to prepare a meal that potentially only he and Remy might enjoy, he lets out a great "squawk" and rushes toward the frog infested structure flapping his arms and looking a great deal like an exceptionally large crow.

Farket looks on with arms crossed, distinctly unimpressed.

As the frogs simply blink at him with their bulging, impassive eyes, Kahwen's head ducks down between his shoulders and he slinks away.
You are fearsome, Farket. Surely you can scatter some frogs.

Blarg the Dinosaur |

Blarg goes over and tries to pick up an animal in his mouth. He does have the 'fetch' trick.
Not sure if you need a roll here, but I'll roll a dex check and you can use the roll as needed...

Farket looks at Kahwen and the others chasing frogs, and the gillman kneeling and watching them. He laughs.
"Kahwen, I'm good at four things. Fightin', drinkin', and simple mathematics. I've no time for frog chasin'. " Turning to the others, he implores them, "Pathfinders, time is passin' and Aroden is not comin' back. Let's stop this foolishness and go!"

you are all on the right track with the frogs. If you are ready to move on we can with out it. When it comes to moving them Koani, think of it like a swarm. you cant move 1 or 2 and it works. there are lots of them.

Kahwen has no choice but to believe Farket. He's seen the man fight and assumes that, as a dwarf, he knows his way around his cups and his math adds up. He also agrees with the man.
As simple as the task may seem, it seems they don't have the right skills to accomplish it.
I believe you are correct, Friends. Even dead gods should be honored but not before the living. We have done as much for Aroden as we can and we still have a task to finish.
He will scout out the next passage. The only one I see other than the Trog one is the one to the South, so that's where he's going.

Kimberly had finished her part and had way of taking care of the frog. but watched as the others tried.
"Kahwen, I'm good at four things. Fightin', drinkin', and simple mathematics. I've no time for frog chasin'. " Turning to the others, he implores them, "Pathfinders, time is passin' and Aroden is not comin' back. Let's stop this foolishness and go!"
Kimberly leans over and whispers, whats the fourth thing?
you listed only three...

Farket shoulders his glaive and moves up to the passage Kharwen is scouting. Not so much that he spoils the scouts stealth, but ready for action, to back him him up as required.
When Kimberley whispers in his ear, he winks at her, smiling. "Humour lass. Gotta keep morale up when you're underground and facin' danger"

You all gain a +2 insight bonus on a single combat maneuver check made over the next 24 hours. A +1 competence bonus on Knowledge checks made to identify the abilities and weaknesses of creatures. A +1 insight bonus to AC if you have taken damage since the start of your last turn.
The route to the surface leads through a maze of tight passages that include steep ascents and short climbs as they wind from west to east. As the you travel, you can hear the sounds of a distant battle echoing through the caves, intermixed with inspirational tales of famous Pathfinders and the heroic deeds—the raging fight between Janira and the minotaur. As you get further down the cave, Janira’s words are sufficiently. The tight tunnels here range from 2 to 5 feet in width and average about 9 feet in height.

With all the party working together, both of the amoebas are taken down.
The light of the surface world above provides a welcome reprieve from the blue and green fungus of the caverns below, and light illuminates a stream whose water is hastened by runoff from a recent storm further up the mountains. A ledge to the west rises up to the nearby forest canopy.
You emerge from the caverns into a 40-foot clearing at the base of the Kortos Mounts. The full moon above casts provides dim light over the entire area, bright enough to illuminate even the shaded leaf litter beneath the trees. A 3-foot-diameter tree truck spans the
width of the river, creating an impromptu bridge. Janira Gavix is locked in combat with her relentless minotaur foe in a clearing on the southern bank of the stream.
“You vile beast! I know not what drives your black heart, but I shall not fail in my duty. I shall see you driven from this forest, back to the hills from whence you came!”

Sorry to hear your wife is still dealing with some pain. Hopefully she'll take it easy and get back on the road to recovery.
To battle, Friends! To save our compatriot! Kahwen declares as he puts actions to words and hurries to Janira's aid against the bull-headed beast.
He joins Shabah and Remy in crossing the stream, using the same method.
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (3) + 11 = 14
It is not his best jump, but he manages it with relative ease.
He draws up next to Shabah, having little desire to face the minotaur alone, and working better in tandem with his partners anyway.
He brings up his sword in a protective stance in case the minotaur decides to approach and attack them. Defensive Stance
