Vare, the Summoner wrote:

Vare actually looks somewhat taken aback - clearly he had not anticipated that suggestion by any stretch, and his eyes do not meet hers, instead doing that strange unsettling scanning of her general area that he does when looking at someone. He shifts his robes slightly, readjusting.

"I..."

A look of confusion mixes with the surprise, and he takes a moment to collect his thoughts, hesitating. "Miss Anahita... I... do not wish to disrespect you, not impunge on your honour." Vare is mustering all the limited social graces he has at that moment. "But... yes. I would enjoy that. If it is as intuitive as you say."

With a glance at the still-pretend-sleeping form of Rena, Vare, still looking somewhat confused, says. "We should find somewhere more private though, should we not?"

He's so romantic.

The Elder woman grins with a slight leer, at his response, the Middle-aged face smiles warmly with a blush, but when Anahita speaks, they do various reactions of disappointment or laughter and revert to their 'usual' activity of examining the world or staring off in space.

Anahita appears a bit, stuck in thought. "So you do wish to breed with me. This is not ... as they call it, a romantic effort?" Now she looks slightly curiously at Rena, then back to Vare after a glance to the dinner and all that.

"I had noticed your physical reactions previously, though, I was not quite sure how to respond to that. This is a first, in many ways, for me. I have watched how animals court one another-- but, you are not an animal in that regard. My rare study of this in towns through my travels were ...similar to this, but I have not drunk enough, nor do I think drinking would help." She pauses to think, fingers at her lower lip in thought.

"Perhaps I should seek assistance from another human female my age, and ask their awareness, what do you suggest? Or ..." She looks hopeful at Vare, perhaps he knows better.

"Are you quite experienced in these matters? What is your advice? Perhaps, I should better educate and learn this act myself-- though, I do not doubt it would come naturally, after all, we are living beings with instincts."

Hahaha, I can see it now... "So, Vare wants to mate with me-- should we just rut, or is there something more appropriate to be done? And I think his companion, Rena, she will be watching as well." asked of some other girl or female teacher (Not Rosa).

Melody tries to make use of the already existing Sims to vreate artifical band members to acompany any performer that may want to make a recording.

Melody also starts to work on a way to add her musical talent to suppliment any fabricated band members so they can perform better.

suddenly it dawns on her.

Ooookkkk, now what is the music going to be recorded on? and how can it be distrubuted? what kind on playback device will be needed? damn why can't i think these things through before starting these projects

Sim? do you have any suggestions on this?

I cannot stop laughing - at work too. xD

Anahita could ask Johnny - I'm sure s/he would be very helpful in that regard. xD

"I.. have just as many questions as you do, it seems. I... am not experienced in this in the slightest... nor have I ever attempted to study it." Vare says, blushing himself slightly, and trying to keep his calm demeanor despite being obivously flustered. "I... perhaps we ought not to rush into anything? Perhaps our instincts would guide us as you say.. yet..."

"I do not believe any of the people I have met during my time here could assist me... perhaps the Headmaster could advise us on this."

"Do you have a friend you could ask?" Vare asks curiously. They had not spoken much on school life, and so did not really know the extent of Anahita's social circle.

---

"Oh for crying out loud." Rena suddenly says, flapping her wings in an annoyed fashion. She uncurls herself, and flaps towards the exit of the clearing. "You two are overcomplicating it." she says, and used her tail to push Vare closer to her. "It's not so complicated. Kiss her Vare." the Dream creature says, before exiting the clearing in order to give the two their privacy.

Vare still hesitates though.

his cells do indeed produce more of this stuff when exposed to magic- but here's the odd part- after it left, they didn't slow down. However, the amount of energy they burnt through increased exponentially when the antimagic output rose. This stuff seems to be powered by natural energy, simply that derived by eating. What exactly it is eludes you, but it is almost magic, but backwards. The process of it's creation has been elusive so far. Adon's ki has been dwindling next to zero, and his magic is of course very little. If contiued at this rate, he should have no ki at all by this point. Right now, he should be dead, not just knocked out- he has no life force.

Walking a few more blocks, they spot a dance hall, and make their way to the door. There's a bit of a line, but they get through it quickly and are soon inside.

Its a bit crowded, but not overly so, with about maybe fifty people so far, and about half that on the dance floor already.

This is NOT the same spot Johnny and Tybalt are at

Ginni started tapping her foot to the beat, enjoying the light show that was being created by a gnome using prestidigitation along with the band playing. The music was heavy on the drum rhythms and she pulled Ace out on the dance floor with her.

His muscles barely tensed up when she fell into them. With all the strength he used he still managed to make it gentle as well. "Are you ok Ori?" Salis questioned as he held her in his arms. Slowly his cheeks started flush as he looked at her.

Ori's heart was racing and it definitely wasn't from the fall. She blushed furiously as she tried to think enough to answer the question, but her brain didn't seem to be working right. "Uh....yeah.....ok....right, I'm okay," she stammered out, not making any move to draw away from him.

She put her hands on the side of his face and kissed him on the lips, hoping he wouldn't be too angry with her for this.

What was she doing? He thought just before his mind shut down. Her lips now against his. He was trembling at her lips touch. His eyes widened and his breathing stopped. Every part of his being wanted to run away, but his body wouldn't move.

Once she stopped he set her down gently. "Tha-That was good. Um Right there's a first for everything." he said with a smile. He felt like a scared rabbit every inch of his body told him to run, but something kept him here with her.

He scratched his head lost for words. What was it that Rallus would have done now. He would offer compensation for the night. Wait no that's no appropriate for this. His hands now obviously shaking but he couldn't tell if it was from joy or fear. He decided to try playing it cool. That was my first, and fruuum!" He leaned against a shelf but the shelf collapsed raining books and maps down upon him as he crashed to the ground.

"Ow. Well there goes trying to act cool." He told himself out loud as he started to push books off himself.

"Well, surely someone can .. show, or speak of it? Did you wish to find someone or two." Hand held, she watches as Vare kisses the top of her hand curiously, then smiles a moment at the act.

"I've had other people greet my hand in such a fashion, I did not understand the point, but, in this closeness, now, I believe I understand it. Thank you."

Smiling, she reaches up and runs her fingers along his shaved chin and cheek, warm finger tips against smooth flesh. "Without fur is preferred, unless you fancy yourself a beast. That is my ..opinion."

"There .. was this one time, Vare, where I sat in a tree watching performers repeating a romance between a knight and a lady, I do not recall the name of it. Much singing and such, opera, I believe. Is this how you are familiar with the coupling of humans? My studies have mostly been watching life, where animals would sometimes ...prance about, demonstrate their prowess and such, before, well, their mating seasons started. I am clearly not in heat, though I do feel warming at your touch, which is .. interesting."

Then she seems to realize she's touching him, versus the other way around. But, she's no blushing princess, she merely smiles.

"I suggest we seek knowledge. Given what was impressed upon me recently by Bradley, to seek fun, perhaps this is why he mentioned it, as an Oracle might, before an event."

"Oh! Oh my goodness! Are you alright?" she asked, alarmed, as she tried to help pull the books off of him. "I'm so sorry. I'm such an idiot. Well, actually I'm fairly intelligent in other areas of my life, not that you'd ever know it because I always seem to make a complete cake of myself whenever you're around. I didn't think....not that that's an excuse. I should have asked first or something. I had no idea it was your first kiss and....well, I probably should have had some idea when you mentioned being raised in a monastery....my brain just wasn't working right at that moment and...." she was blushing and babbling and obviously extremely flustered.

"Oh. There it is," she said, a bit stunned as she looked at the map she was holding in her hands and realized this was what they had been looking for.

Aananda read the results from the tests on Adon's blood and yelled for Bertha. "Get Adon under the scanner right now. Inject this tube into the scanner panel first...it needs an emergency upgrade before the analysis. I think he might be dying, and I need to know exactly what is happening before I can do anything to stop it."

There was a good deal of running around as Aananda set up her little command center from her bed, like she had done earlier minus the drone. She quickly programmed the upgrades she needed on the medical scanner before they put Adon on it for yet another scan, this one hopefully more thorough.
