Dave realizes on his way to kitty that theres still a few hours before dawn, but not neer enough to get any useful sleep. he heads to the cafeteria to get some coffee, if they are open he grabs 1 large cup and chugs it before filling iit back up and heading to kitty sipping his coffee, he decides to work on his ship for an hour and a half before heading into town at full speed to buy the best base guitar avalable and then going to kitty, 20 miniutes before sunrise.
if they are closed he does essentially the same thing with shadow conjuration but grimaces because he knows it isn't real so it doesn't taste real

Mrs Clempp is there, the woman seems never to sleep.
"Here ya go love, just made it, nice an fresh"
"much obliged, long night, gym teacher" he says between gulps, leaving shortly after.

Lang Fei |

Lang doesn't even register what is going on in Dara's room and simply follows what he was last told and shuffles himself back to his dorm for more sleep.
just as the sun is about to come up Lang will be up as if he had the best rest ever to begin his surise excercises in the garden before breakfast.
will now wait for the offical start of the next day

It does not surprise me that there is coffee available at all hours in the cafeteria....how else would we keep the aschen pacified.;)
When Dave goes to the cafeteria looking for coffee he sees three ugly shadowy looking demon creature about the size of housecats looking worshipfully at the coffepot as it brews. "Coooofeeee," they say in unison.

Sadie Jhiwoon |

Seeing the ship on screen go boom made her feel less keyed up. No more impending danger to worry about tonight.
"I'm beat. Umm....walk you to your room?" she asked Morrivan. Getting a positive response she said goodnight to the others and left, heart beating faster as she wondered if a goodnight kiss would be a huge mistake or not.
Deciding against taking chances she stood awkwardly in front of Morrivan's door. "Umm....well....goodnight then.....See you tomorrow," she said awkwardly and started to turn to go when Morrivan surprised her with a light kiss on the lips.
"Goodnight," Morrivan said smiling. She didn't say anything on account of her brain refusing to work properly, so she just stood there grinning even after Morrivan went inside and closed the door.
Maybe this school year was going to be a good one after all, she thought to herself as she headed to her own room for a little sleep before classes started tomorrow.

Dave raises one eye and says "are you lot alright?" He stays alert for a potential attack but tries to appear relaxed.
"Fine." "Fine." "Fine." Each one rasped in turn, never taking their eyes off of the coffeepot. "Coooooffeeeeeee."
One of them looks at the other two then back up at Dave. "Big one has hands that can pour." "Oooh....coffee?" "Coffee?" "Coffeecoffeecoffeecoffee?" "Pleeeeeease?" They pleaded, crowding around Dave.

Casseus Rex |

"Mornin." Dave hears as another student walks in.
"Those are aschen. Bad luck demons. You can give them coffee, it will keep them occupied." he gets to a cooler, and grabs a few chocolate milks.
"You're shinier than Roger. Where you from?"
This kid looks like a teenaged Hellboy, complete with sawed off horns, and stone hand.

David.De'Foul |

"Rodger? Who's that, shiny, wait oops forgot to turn the illusion back on," Dave quickly turns back to what he still concideres 'normal' and says much less distractedly " much better I'm from Toril, a planet a good ways away from here, I came in the note that was in the lake earlier, anyway I'm Dave nice to meet you, your saying they won't go crazy if I give them the coffee?"

Casseus Rex |

"Oh Roger is an Angel. Toril? Is that where Thay is? They know how to party..."
He shrugs.
"Not crazy, really. They really like coffee. But I'm sure you can imagine the effect of caffeine on such a small creature. And, like I mentioned, they are bad luck demons."
He cracks open a chocolate milk and guzzles it, watching the aschen.

Ephebe |

Ephebe sighed. Tea was not going to make this better. Well, she was tired and not planning to wait all night.
She walked outside and approached her parents.
"Mom. Dad. Okay, so I was going to wait until you were done talking, but I realized that could take a while and it's getting late. So. You should know that Taron has been under a nasty, subtle and very thorough curse since turning Agartha inside out. Anyone who's been around him is sort of under a reverse charm effect. Combined with what it's been doing to his impulse control and how everything he said came out sounding nasty and mean...well, it's not good. I had Nala take the curse off. He's better now. Well, still female, but I patently refuse to change pronouns unless he tells me he's planning to stay as a girl permanently. Too confusing otherwise. Anyhow, I don't think he's actually gone round the bend yet. He's on the edge of it, but not too far gone. Figured you should know."
She turned to leave and then turned back. "I'll be in the incubation room if you need me. It seems like the only chance I get to spend time with my babies these days is the middle of the night. Oh, and Taron said to tell you that he and Kam are sleeping in their room in case anyone wants to yell at them some more."
::James, when you get back Taron wants to talk to you.::
Satisfied that she'd done everything she could for one day, she teleported into the incubation room to curl up around her eggs. She smiled as she found Krays still there reading to them.

Krays |

Returns the smile, and nuzzles his mate.
::I've introduced everyone to their new cousins. They seemed to already know. It's amazing...::

Casseus Rex |

He laughs.
"You partied there too, eh? See these guys will mill about the coffee for a bit. Only side effect is you may have made some new...friends. I would expect frequesnt visits asking for coffee. If they get too annoying, I believe they are...linked...to someone here. They will obey them."
He looks at one of the aschen
"Who is your Master here?"

Ephebe |

Returns the smile, and nuzzles his mate.
::I've introduced everyone to their new cousins. They seemed to already know. It's amazing...::
::Mmm. Yes, the connections between family are pretty intense,:: she agreed, content to just spend some quiet time with her mate and their eggs.

David.De'Foul |

Dave laughs " I'll just get Skeets to do it, ah no my memories are a bit fuzzy cause I was like 8 when I left Toril, over 2 decades ago, my father had business in They if I remember right, he had business everywhere, anyway I best be off got to see a girl about a squirrel it was nice talking to you" he moves to leave but pauses at his statement curious as to the answer.

Fei, of the Sun Soul |

The tears eventually fade into snuffles, and she's able to speak again. Her voice is hoarse from crying, and still punctuated by the occasional sob. "It's all wro-[hic] wrong. Dad was supp-posed to ruffle my h-hair and tell me h-how proud he was of m-me." her cheek was still resting on Fei's chest, and his gi was a little damp from the fallen tears.
"There is no greater pride than that of a parent when they see their child succeed...and no greater despair than when they falter. I am sure he is proud of you, Vai. Give him the chance to tell you so once all of this anger and upset has subsided, and I believe that he will."
Eventually she releases the hug, though slowly, as if she wished it could never end. But she knew that even Fei's concentration had it's limits. She looks up into his eyes, her own still a little glassy. "Thank you, Fei. For everything. I..." it was late now. She didn't want to bother her parents... Mom had looked like she was about to break, "I don't want to be alone tonight. Nasima's still not back, and my room is so lonely without her. Can I stay with you?" Vai realizes that probably won't work, but still... "I'll even sleep on the floor, so you won't have to worry. I just don't want to go back to an empty room."
The young monk looks at her for a moment.
"I...do not think my cot will be as comfortable as your own bed, but you are welcome to it if it means you will be able to rest. My only suggestion would be to pick up the blankets from your room to ensure you do not get too cold."
"And I will take my rest on the floor - it will be no discomfort for me," he adds before Vai can make any objections. (^-^)

Tamrin - Gunslinger of Tomorrow |

::Good work, guys. Tyrrin thanks for the help. Now I have another job to take care of. Let me know if you spot any other surprises.::
::Mom, Dad, progress report. Target is down. Fido and Sunbeam are back at base safe and sound. Field test was mostly a success. Some upgrades needed. Especially in pilot training. Heading to the comm relay now.::
Tam lets out a long breath, grateful for some actual good news finally.
::That is the best news I've heard for days, James. Good job. I want to meet those two later and congratulate them personally. Get some rest, son - we'll try to catch up tomorrow. I love you.::
He closes his eyes and tries to rub some of the exhaustion away from his face with his hands, to marginal effect.

"Ace" |

Ace smiles at the sight of the two girls leaveing together "Man I am so glad that gamble paid off."
He looks to Ginni after her comment "You're beautiful enough without extra effort"

Vai Sunwake |

"There is no greater pride than that of a parent when they see their child succeed...and no greater despair than when they falter. I am sure he is proud of you, Vai. Give him the chance to tell you so once all of this anger and upset has subsided, and I believe that he will."
She sighs, knowing he was right. "Yeah. It's not me, it's Taron. I was looking forward to meeting him. Her? I wanted to thank him. His actions lead to us revealing ourselves. He's the reason I don't have to live in fear of others discovering what I am. He's the reason we were able to go flying out in the real sky." Things were never simple, were they? Maybe things would seem brighter in the morning.
The young monk looks at her for a moment.
"I...do not think my cot will be as comfortable as your own bed, but you are welcome to it if it means you will be able to rest. My only suggestion would be to pick up the blankets from your room to ensure you do not get too cold."

Vai was about to make an objection, but she knew better. Fei could be stubborn. It was easier to just thank him and be grateful for his kindness. She smiles at him, feeling a warm happiness despite everything that had happenned that night. "Alright. And a pillow too. Or... if you're gonna sleep on the floor anyway," a sly grin was plastered on her face, "let's just go to my room. That way we don't have to move blankets around. I mean, if that's alright with you."
With their sleeping arrangements decided, (Assuming no objection from Fei) the pair make their way back through the quiet of the halls, eventually reaching Vai's room. Nimceleb raises his head from his place at the foot of her bed, and moves over, rubbing himself on her legs, just like a cat. "I guess I wouldn't have been completely alone." Vai adds sheepishly. She still wanted Fei to stay though.
Vai changes into her pyjamas in the bathroom, and the young Champions talk quietly before eventually falling asleep.
Cue someone barging into Vai's room early in the morning.

Tyrrin Denulia |

"Okay, everyone not being cheesy - in here. Everyone else - elsewhere." Tyrrin says good-naturedly to Casil and Ginni. It was late as classes were starting tomorrow.
"Do you want me to walk you to your room, Jaiye? I'm staying here, going to run some tests and such. Are you going to class tomorrow?" Tyrrin remembers Jaiye's fondness for skipping class. "Wyrd, you are of course welcome to stay as long as you like."

"Ace" |

Ace chuckles at Tyrrin "Don't be jealous Tyrrin, you quite pretty yourself. If she's ok with it, why don't Ginni and I walk Jaiye to her room, so you don't have to leave your work?"

"We still have a lot to talk about....but I don't think any of it can't wait until tomorrow. James can handle the rest of phase one in taking over the Empire's communications network, and you look like you're going to collapse right here. Come to bed." She brushed his hair back from his face. "Things will look clearer in the morning."

"Well, yeah, I always go on the first day. It's the days after that that I sometimes err...forget....so I can read comics in the library....sometimes I wish that textbooks came in comics form."
"Just make sure you actually get some sleep tonight, Tyrrin. It doesn't look so good if the student council president falls asleep in class. Not to mention I worry about you when you forget to take care of yourself like that."
"Oh, and I'm fine. I don't need anybody to walk me back to my room. It's all good. It's not like I'm gonna get lost." ^.^

The little aschen looks irritated that someone is trying to distract it from it's coffee, then looks at Casseus. He seems to stare a sec, focused on some point just above his head.
Then moves closer to the others and continues to sip his blessed coffee.

Casseus Rex |

Raises an eyebrow at the aschen...then turns to Dave.
"Some lady named Ephebe has bound them. I'd ask her if you have any problems."

Sorry if this sounds cranky. I spent the last half hour curled up in a ball with intense nausea. It's causing some serious negatives to my diplomacy checks. :/
