So at 16th level, that's like (16x3) = 48DR to all energy types, per round, yikers!
And you do it as a (Su) free action
will not be doing it to Carl, as he's made and he kind of dos not need it, for mining.
He's not a fighter just a prospector.

A LOT of 3rd party classes are not overpowered per se, as opposed to they try to do too much. This is due to many of the coming out before APG, where we got 6 new classes, plus the introduction of Archetypes.
People loved the flavor if not the power and ability of the Warlock from 3.5, and it was one of the more asked about classes to get some sort of PF update. Of course, an official one could never be made by Paizo due to copyright, but other companies could take the name, and do their own re-imagining.
The book the Warlock appears in is Tome of Secrets, which came out before APG. While its nice to have a semi-PF update of the class, I'm not sure its truly needed at this point, at least as a full class.
As a alternate class ala the Ninja or Anti-Paladin or archetype, sure, but as it stands now, not so much.
I also dislike that it doesn't stand on its own. Its powers come, in a decent degree, from the Wizard. Rather prefer it to have its own special abilities and powers, but again, a lot of 3rd party companies, especially with older releases, just kind of took cool features of different classes and meshed them it a whole.
I find it funny that Tyb's 16th level power was never mentioned and is actually on the warlock page. XD

Ah. Okay. Yeah, moving sucks. As a note it doesn't actually suck less when you get older, but it turns out if you spend your childhood in a semi-nomadic kind of way that when you're an adult staying in one place is hard....at least that's my experience. :)
Anyways, planning on going to college? I know there's lots of really good community colleges in Michigan. It's a good option for those who don't have a lot of money to spend on school. :)

Glad to hear it. I know meeting new friends is hard, but at least you'll have a chance to meet new people at school. That should help a little.

Well, the fall equinox is in about a week....falls on Saturday I think? And that would be around Sept 21. (Because I'm not making up a whole new calendar. I've played in a game that did and we always spent time arguing about what time of year it was because we could never get the dates right.)
