All of this! You have held together a wonderful, crazy, sometimes neurotic, and highly individual group of people, and this game would have splintered into tiny pieces without you! Thank you!

I just thought it wouldn't be that far of a stretch.
You already show the possessive trait of being in a mating pair.
Tybs already almost worships him without the possibility of being under compulsion. They were almost a couple already with how much time they spent together and the dynamic they had.
I meant that as he is now it isn't comparable. Post lace, the main worry he has about a relationship really isn't applicable any more.
Being a Wilder should really give him more of an insight into how Tybs is feeling and any kind of emotional sense he has would show the deep devotion type feelings Tybs has for him.
Dave's reaction could really depend on how long he thinks on it and if he reaches introspective thinking and how logical/deep that gets.

David.De'Foul |

emotional is not logical
and you would have been right.... had you waited more than half a week from the previous breakup
you sent him into panic mode
had this been post timeskip the reaction wouldn't have been exploady
would it have still been nervous shock, probably, but he wouldn't have ran or detonated
heck he might have figured it out on his own, given time
in short
you got screwed by horrible timing and taking relationship advice from a hedgehog
moral of the story
don't take Dating advice from a hedgehog

If it doesn't work out Tybs, let me just say, failed romantic relationships make for great (if hideously painful) character development....and can eventually lead to better things...
A lot of what I'm worried about is trying to rework pretty much everything I had planned. All of my future ideas for Tybs involved at least a good friendship between them.
Aside from that, he is really the main reason Tybs is at the school. He doesn't need to learn anything (that he admits to himself) and he is from a traveler background. He's at the school to have fun and it's proven to be many things besides fun. Dave is one of if not the main reason that Tybs is here. After this he may just decide to move on, realistically. It's going to suck if I loose my favorite character because I had him say it too soon.

oh he still wants to be friends with you
he just can't handle a meaningful relationship at the moment, give him some time to cool off, maybe spend a few nights outside of your combined room, whether on his ship working or in someone else's bed

Um.
the disk floats approximately 3 feet above the ground at all times and The disk also winks out if you try to take the disk more than 3 feet away from the surface beneath it.
Since Sil is about 6 or so feet tall, and I'm guessing Jai is not that much shorter, and Ehos isn't a midget, I do not believe Floating Disc is a proper spell to use for protection from rain.
Hells, even sitting, I believe Sil would be taller than 3 feet. So, unless its nap time, no go.

Gods that is a sexy song.
Now if only Ardiente could finish with his crazy quest! ;D

I figured the tops of your heads might count as the surface beneath it
your next best bet would be either mage armor or one of the "wall of _____" spells

I actually forgot that I have true seeing/arcane sight.... does the thing used to transform you leave an aura/change your "true form" I imagine that as an elodion/dream creature your "true form" is rather mutable
The answer to this question is actually not up to me, but to Dami, since his NPC transformed Rena.
The language that was used though, I believe Rena's transformation had a duration of 'instantaneous', meaning she radiates no transmutaion magic of any kind, and that this is her new 'true form'.
I could be mistaken though.
Other than that, Rena does not give off the standard Conjuration aura that an eidolon would give off when summoned.

Rena isn't under any magical effect in any way, and everything that's visible is perfectly awesome, hot and natural. Sexy female, with dove white wings (unless Fireclaw picked something different).
It's like looking at any human being, any detect magic or similar would pick up the auras of spells cast on her (which I do not believe /have/ happened, but, I do recall Vare buffing or something a day ago, when the attacks happened).
If you have any more questions, lemme know -- her 'Dreamscape' image is up to how Fireclaw presents it, he's got a slight challenge there, I'm sure. ;)
Cheers.

Damiani |

ok so true seeing doesn't see through it, cool, thanks
Nothing to 'see through' -- that's what she is, no magic visible, or illusion. Humanoid girl, awesome, hot and looking at her is like looking at anyone without magical effects (unless there are lingering auras from prior spells, I'm not tracking those).

He'll notice it when he travels to Kuros...sheesh you're acting like it never rains or storms.

it hasn't rained since I got here, it's weirder that it hasn't rained.

So Dave isn't opposed to a relationship with Tybs. He is opposed to a relationship at all this soon after a break up?

any meaningful one yes
he is not opposed to less thought filled ones, just having fun kinda thing

The school has lots of spare material components, though they are in much shorter supply now a days. Especially diamonds. David could've grabbed one before the attack and forgot about it.
now that you mention, dave just went on the expidition, he might be packing enough for about 3 castings.
