"Guess that means I am driving, for you Venkru. Should tell you I am not the best driver." Torin says before hopping into the seat of the other speeder.

Never crazy about being in a speeder, damn death traps, Jarl smiles through it. The controls to this weapon are all too familiar to him and he fires off a few bursts hoping that his luck or at least his aim will improve.
Ellor will start to circle his bike around the flank of the main action, getting a good sense of the surrounding area, and making sure enemy reinforcements are intercepted.
You pull the speeders to the alleyways only to find that the vehicles wont fit it is unfortunate but you now have a choise. Stay and blast away in. Or risk an on foot mission into unknown territory. Whats the call?
"Looks like its the end of the road for the free ride. Unless any of you folks fancy an old fashioned shoot out being on the wrong side of the defenses, I say we keep going on foot."
Oh everyone posted in less than twelve hours. How rare and welcome.
You hop off your speeders and make your way down the narrow back alleys to the rear of the facility. You are followed close behind by your droideka.
You reach the far wall to the town and to your left is another narrow back alley that leads behind the facility. Moving a bit further you find what appears to be the back door.

Would that be a computer use roll to disengage the lock electronically or something else? If it is computer use I will assist Ellor with an Aid Another action if possible. If it is the latter I don;t have any skills besides kicking it in or blasting it which are applicable.
You manage to override the security terminal and move into the base. Strangly there are no guards.
You guys move into the offices. You have a choice. Move up the elevator and go for the guys in charge by your selves or attack the guards from the rear to let your allies in.
The droideka has all the right fixes except for coherent speech.

"While I don't want anyone at my back it would seem a shame not to take all the glory right? Let's leave the droid here to watch our backs and go make a name for ourselves".
"Sounds good to me. The droid to cover our back while we strike the leadership. Just watch out for their bodyguards; trapped rats have a tendency to bite hard."
You establish the droideka to cover your rear and head up stairs. You get to the up stairs lobby. Imediately you see 5 guards by the window sniping down at your allies. They don't seem to have noticed you yet. The element of surprise is yours.
Dudes dead after that nasty volley. The stairs go up no further. your sure your on the right floor. Somewhere the officers in charge are supposedly hiding. Now the question is, do you go down the path to your left or across the lobby to the other hallway that goes left?
Okay, the major thing for character creation is to add your vitality X3
Unlike the other threads you will not get free equipment or weapons feat.
Instead you each get two free skill feats of your choosing.
Okay I don't have time to layout all the specs for the added races.
You remember how Ability scores start at base 10 and it is a 25 point by.
I posted the adjustments for unique Ability scores. Also, Miraluka official rules were posted in the Empire recruitment thread.
Once you finish with your character sheets please post as best you can on your profiles.
You will all be recruited from all over and shipped to Tatooine for this campaign.
If you have any mechanics or posting questions please ask. Or any world questions as any characters mentioned in the books don't exist unless they were in the movies. {ie Mara Jade, Corrin Horn, Thrawn, and so on wont be present anywhere in this campaign.)
PLease ask questions. I don't want anyone to be confused or running on false info. I will do my best to answer. It also helps me as there is much I haven't thought of either. Thank you. We will start this thing once EVERYONE has posted their profiles and is ready to go.
I took: Skill Emphasis (Computer Use) and Cautious as my two bonus feats. (That brings my total to 4 skill feats due to race/level/DM bonus, think I have a skill monkey?)
Yurvin should be pretty much done if people want to have a look.
Shanosuke:
Are bonus languages due to high intelligence only speak or also read/write? (I have always found the separation of the skills in this edition to be a bit ridiculous).
I assume that you have a way to tie us all together? We obviously all work for Zadora but I am wondering if any of us would have worked together before.
How are you going to be playing technology? Are you going to be sticking to the Star Wars technology level or are you going to incorporate any modern technology (Computers, communications and such are if anything smaller and better than the SW versions based on 70's tech)
Players:
I am really happy to have a pair of soldiers in the mix as Yurvin will be playing duck and cover when the blasters come out. Expect very little from him combat-wise.
Are either of the soldiers going to be focusing at all on Treat Injury? At 1st level I do not have this skill and it really doesn't fit the character well but I could take it if necessary at 2nd level when I take tech specialist and it becomes a class skill. We could always attempt to "procure" a medical droid if necessary. :P
Torin will be the type to fire back than run up and hit them in the face with his ax. Figure it would be a cool combo. As for skills I am trying to get into the bounty hunter prestige class so very limited on the skills I can get until than so no Treat Injury. I have a question as well I was doubling check with the two characters that are up and I noticed you both had a +10 to your saves and I was wondering where that was from? I cannot find the rule in the book. Can someone also check my character sheet to make sure I did it correctly?
Some questions were brought up about skills and I had deemed it necessary to house rule these. I had planned on that originally but questions and comments made by you lot have given me need to go over the concept in greater detail.
The rules for using skills start with buying them:
This process works just like it does in Star Wars rulebook
-1 point for 1 rank in Class skills
-2 points for 1 rank in other skills
Your max amount of ranks in a skill are also measured the same.
-Your level +3 for class skills
-Half that for other skills
CHANGES!:
First off I am going to write off several skills I believe are useless. This may result in higher skills due to the number of skill points players get. I don’t care and I will explain why in a bit.
I have bunch some groups of skills into single skills Here’s the results
Gather information – Now apart of Comp Use and Diplomacy
Forgery – Now apart of Bluff and Disguise
Gamble – Now apart of Perception and Slight of Hand, or a Knowledge Gambling skill
Now it is important to note. If at least half of the Replaced Skills are class skills, you get the lump sum of the skill. For example, Perception uses Listen, Spot, and Search. You have Spot and Search as Class skills, you get perception as a class skill.
Languages:
I considered Linguistics but I decided to do things this way instead. Sometimes it is easier to simply comprehend a language than it is to read and write or even speak it. There are people who don’t understand Rodese for example and there ARE people who do not understand Galactic Basic. There are people who cannot speak a language other than their own (Wookies). So I decided to add the following
Comprehend Language – Read and understand from dialogue
Fluent– Speak and write the language.
I’ve studied languages myself and find it much easier to comprehend languages than it is to speak them.
Therefore:
-If your Int is 12 or above, you get Comprehend as a class skill always.
-If your Int is 15 or above, you get Fluent as a class skill always.
-If your Int is 18 or above, 1 skill point gets you both Comp and Fluent Languages (Make Sense?)
That is how languages work
Languages Added:
Zeltron
Bogathan (Ancient Language Always costs two skill points in each skill to learn)
Chiss
Nohgri
Barbel
Nautolan
Skiff
Weequay
Nikkto
Devilronian
Tusken (Always takes 2 points a skill)
Gran
The list goes on. If it is a primitive race or an ancient, it will always cost two points to understand, and 2 to communicate.
There are over six million forms of communication so I suggest you get creative cause I’m gonna throw a bunch at y’all. Yes southern is a language :p
Now there is one thing you need to know about skills. I set my own DCs depending upon circumstances. I use the rulebooks to gauge at best but there are many things I have thought of that the rulebooks for any game have not covered. That said, when I set a DC, don’t go flipping through the rulebook to find it. Ask or make perception or knowledge checks to gauge what your success rate would be like should you attempt something.
Cool? Good!
Now, one final little thing I should make known. I saw this in the list of languages that one of you posted. Yuuzhong Vong do not exist. I have refused to accept their existence since I first read about them. They are the dumbest most cliché thing introduced into the Star Wars universe. They simply do not exist. Okay. These have been some good Q&A’s so far. There is a lot I still need to go over. I admit I started this thing without being completely prepared but your questions and profiles are helping immensely. I hope to at the latest have this game started by Saturday. At the latest.
Keep posting questions or concerns This is good for you as much as it is form me.
I am trying to go into bounty hunter. Which calls for 5 ranks in Gather Information, Move Silently and Intimidate. Since you changed the skills are stealth and diplomacy the ones I need 5 ranks in now?

Sorry I misunderstood your question. Yes you only need Stealth AND either comp use, or Diplomacy. I will let you pick one of the other. I may also add intimidate to the list for info gather, how would you feel about that. You would only need to pick one of the three to cover any prerqs.

Also yes Perception will be dex based.
I will go with computer use because A) it is a class skill, B) I do not really see a bounty hunter being that diplomatic, and C) I am in school for Computer Science so would be cool for character to do it as well.

Miraluka Species Traits.
Bonus feats: force sensative, Sense.
Species Traits: -2 dex, +2 Int; +2 species bonus on initiative checks; force sight.
Force Sight: force sight allows them to use the sense surrondings technique of the Sense feat as a free action (rather than a move action) and without paying the vitality point cost. they use this ability to compensate for their natural blindess. this ability is effective out to a range of 1 kilometer.
automatic languages: basic, miralukese.
Sense Surrondings techniqure: any character with the Sense feat can extend his/her senses through the force to gain an awareness of his surroundings. such awareness allows the character to fight and make skill checks (including listen and spot checks) without taking any penalties for darkness or lack of line of sight. this ability does not duplicate the enhance senes skill but rather allows a character to perceive normally through the force instead of through a normal sense, thus compensating for blindness or deafness.
Activiating this awareness requires a movement action. Using it costs 2 vitality points, and the ability compensates for only one sense at a time. if a force user wishes to use this ability to overcome both blindness and deafness in the same round, for example, he would need to spend 4 vitality and one movement action to do so.
Its important to note that I was either unable to find official rules that made sense or I liked. So Mandelorians and Chiss are based on what I’ve read in Wookiepedia and It should be acceptable for you. Hopefully you wont be disappointed.
Not wanting to be that guy that whines about unbalance but the Mandelorian appears to be the best race ever. It seems just a bit overpowered.
Net +4 stats
Super healing
Bonus feats out the wazoo

Is there a downside to being one?
Mandelorians are the best race. The only downside is that I only permit one per thread. Though I may make all their reputation gain for leveling Infamy due to their rather violent nature and rather dark history. Otherwise, yeah overpowered sounds like a Mandelorian to me. Also the Miraluka are also a tad overpower gaining certain force abilities without the class but again, that is why I only allow one.
I should warn you all, I am a roleplayer, not a rule junkie. I sometimes bend rules to fit a scenario or good roleplaying.
Okay, I will add the following rules to Mandelorians but in my opinion they are the best race.
Infamous - As you level you gain infamy instead of fame
Mandelorian Armor - Mandelorians are proficient in Mandelorian armor only. They must take other proficiency to wear other armors.
I am taking craft armor/ repair as skills and will be wearing custom made armor if the DM oks it, will be mechanically same as purchased equipment also wanted to put grappling hook/power cell into armor and comm link in the helmet.......
*Popping in from the Empire thread*
In the Arms & Equipment guide, there are rules for customising armour & weapons. Basically you make daily craft roll (d20+skill) x(skill) = that many creds of work done. Each customisation is 50% raw cost of the item extra. Once you have completed the total new price then you make a craft check to finish it. Modifications for armour include; reducing the weight, reducing armour check penalty.
Anyway, these are a couple of the options the book gives. But it is of course upto Shanosuke, to allow any non-core items. Apologies for popping in, if you want any more info...
For crafting I'm gonna require schematics. You can either buy them or spend 8 hours and a craft check to write one up. Gather info throuh any of the three means helps with this. The DC depends on both the rarity and complexity of the armor. Crafting anything will take some time. Thankfully this campaign will have a few time jumps giving you a chance to accomplish theses feats. Major thing to note that some DC will be really high the rarer and more complex the armor. For example. It is possible to make a human compatible variant of Dark Trooper Armor. DCs for that range around 40 or so. However there are many factors that can aid you in overcoming that, special tools, aid, buffs, droids, so on. Once upon a game I had a low level player build a high level explosive to look like a lightsaber with a lot of help. Later he was cornered by to sith that were more powerful than he was. He accidentally took advantage of their arrogance and showed off his "lightsaber" to them and they took it....and activated it and boom. No more sith.
I went off on a tanget there.
Anyways. Point is, I will set the DCs and rules for stuff like that. Let me know in game when you wish to begin and we will go from there. I expect a lot of crafting from the imperial thread for sure.
Okay, when you finish you characters and are cool with the way I plan to run things, please post "I'm good to go." I WILL start this thing Saturday so make sure you have everything you need ready.
