Ellor searches the dead guard for a key or override of some kind to open the door before trying one last time.
Computer Use 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (19) + 8 = 27 + anything he finds on the guard to be of use.

In a desparate feat of determination, Ellor manages to get the door open. You barely pull back as a volley of laser fire comes from within. Two sentry turrents have been set up in the armory's main corridor and they are firing at anything that moves, well in your direction that is.

Is this an open corridor with no place to hide? Just want to confirm that is the case before I act. Is there another blast door beyond these turrets or are we not able to see that because we had to dodge out of the way?

Once I get a feel for the hallway I will probably toss it at the turret but I wanted to get confirmation on the layout first.

Ellor lets the combat experts take care of the sentry guns, his rifle aimed at the original entrance to cover their rear.

Okay I had gained a new computer in the hopes of making maps but have yet to unlock that secret yet so I am going to do the best I can.
The hallway is about 1.5 meters to the turrets. There are two of them and not much cover in the hallway. Just past the turrets is a four way intersection.
Thats the best layout description I can do for now.

Jarl has a pretty decent Knowledge Tactics. Would the turret fire be drwn away by a target flying through their sensor range? For example if Venkru Vong were to pick up and toss this dead scoundrel down the open hall behind us could one of us run pst the turret position and disable them from behind?

You have a dead body and therefore you have a shield. Thats one idea, Turrets are pretty fast shooters but you could also attempt some well placed shot and pray they get through. you will also notice they aren't shielded.

Jarl lands the hit. It obviously dealt some damage but not enough to stop the counter fire. Jarl just manages to dodge back into cover before being gunned down.

Your shots echo down the hallway followed up by an explosion and then some more return fire. The spray of incoming fire hails in your direction and one shot leaves a nasty singe on Torin dealing 6 vitality to him.
You are once again behind cover. There is one turret left but it seems to have sustained a bit of damage from the other explosion.

Boom! Torin's blaster shot hits its mark and the turret blows up. The hallway is clear and there is no sign of the guard. Down there is a crossroads. You can go straight to the door ahead and there are doors to the left and right as well. Which do you choose?

"It's like energy bolts are attracted to me. Why I remember one time right at the end of the Clone Wars I was serving on a squad during the last battle on Felucia I took a shot right in the leg. Those clone troopers had to put me in a bacta tank for a week! Lucky I still have the damn thing. Anyway, I say we follow right where this scum went, right left straight, whatever gets us to him faster".
