Colton looks at the pilot and the Imperial.

"He's talking about General Tallon. And we don't have time to argue about this. At best, he's a potential ally. At worst, he's a prisoner. We need to get moving. This crate won't be here for long."

Colton turns and looks for a way out.

Heshvaun lets just stick to first die being wild die for ease of use don't want to have to keep remembering special rules :)

Heshvaun notices the maintenance shoot as a viable escape from where your at now. You know it will take you deeper into the vessel to the supply room and away from the troopers you know will be making their way down shortly.

Think much like Luke and the group did in a New Hope except not into a garbage compactor!

Or your group can open the blast doors and try to venture through what lies ahead.

Static Defenses:
Dodge: 18 Block: 18 Parry: 12 Soak: 12(18)

Kagore grabs Heshvaun and manhandles him forward and away from the General and his wife. "Listen up officer I don't care if your the emperor yourself, until my companions and I clear you as not a spy your going to be walking first and under my watch. Step outta line and I won't hesitate to snap your neck. That is the only warning you'll get."

Looking around and not seeing any other exits he swears.

Tallon nods to Kagore.

"I trust Heshvaun is with us but better safe than sorry for sure as I have not seen him for many years."

Male HP 23/30 | R 13, F 12, W 15 | DT 12 | Per +9 | FP 4/5 | DP 1/1 | DSP 1 Umbaran Jedi

Gotal motions to the maintenance shoot, "Well, if this escape route he showed us works I would say we can trust him. If it does not, there won' be enough of any of us left to regret trusting him..."

Colton opens the maintenance chute.

"For One who is one with the Force, there is no 'blind side'. I'll see you all at the other end."

Colton swung his feet into the chute and slid out of sight.

Male Imperial Coruscant Human Imperial Officer

As Kagore expertly tries to secure a hold of Heshvaun, the Imperial counters with his own deft move, to avoid the lock.

Brawling Parry (Enchani): 4d6 + 1 ⇒ (1, 3, 5, 3) + 1 = 13

"Excellent. You are using a Förräderi offense against me! That marks you as a Teräs Käs adept, truly a gifted fighter. "

"But I find that Teräs Käs is highly effective on Jedi and other Force Sensitives, and even rudementary Echani (which I favor), cancels out Förräderi, don't you? Yet you are gifted indeed."

Heshvaun reverses the lock on him.

"As a living Clone Veteran, you are either highly skilled, remarkably resourceful, or unbelievably lucky. Perhaps a smattering of all three. In any case the General has found a worthy companion. Please accept my compliments."

Heshvaun releases the lock.

Pointing to the maintenance chute,

"That route will take us deeper into the vessel, but we will avoid getting shot at for some time. And yes, there are times a Field officer must take the lead."

With another wink, the Imperial follows Colton in.

I'm not sure if Kagore is using Teräs Käs, but I could not resist because I edited Teräs Käs for the Shadows of Empire Sourcebook. #HumbleBrag

Kagore watches the officer attempt to slip free using a fancy move and squeezes down hard on a painful point for a few key seconds before letting him go, making sure he understood the difference in their training. No words were needed on his part and he gave Hesh a motion to get into the chute. Kagore waited until last to take the chute, hoping to guard the rear.

Male HP 23/30 | R 13, F 12, W 15 | DT 12 | Per +9 | FP 4/5 | DP 1/1 | DSP 1 Umbaran Jedi

The Umbaran frowns at Colton's remark about the blind side but does not challenge him on it. After all it is clear to see that the Council itself had a Blind Side as they have fallen to what appear to be the actions of the Emperor himself!

Gotal hops into the chute next, using the force to slow down his momentum upon exit.

Rufus smirks behind Heshvaun's back when the officer's attempt to reverse Kagore's hold is brought to a painful halt.

One by one everyone else slides down the chute leaving Rufus alone in the maintenance bay. Before he follows, he grabs a work station and pulls it in front of the chute as he backs into it, hopefully making it even more difficult for the troopers to figure out where they went.

Static Defenses:
Dodge: 18 Block: 18 Parry: 12 Soak: 12(18)

Kagore gives Rufus a hand shifting the debris into place to block the exit they took though he doubt it would matter.

You all take the plunge through the shaft and end up where the Imperial officer indicated you would keeping true to his words. You arrive at a supply room off a quite and deserted corridor. There are plenty of blaster pistols, ammo, glow rods and some synthrope here if you wish to take any. Also find two grappling hooks, some food/water and eight medpacs. Only one currently hurt is Gotal at this time.

Tallon takes a moment to take in the area and seems to relax a bit holding his wife's hand.

"Ok gentlemen I believe I know a way to safely get to the hangar bay from here. We will travel through the very lowest levels of the star destroy, thus avoiding most of the major guard patrols and use the droid access corridors along the bottom of the ship. At best, we shall only meet up with servant and maintenance droids along this route."

Heshvaun:
This sounds like a viable plan based on your knowledge of the ship, unless you have a different suggestion.

"Alright. We better get moving. That countdown won't last forever, and it won't take them long to figure out where we're trying to go."

Colton started moving through the maintenance tunnels towards the hangar bay, following Tallon's directions.

Static Defenses:
Dodge: 18 Block: 18 Parry: 12 Soak: 12(18)

Kagore takes time to restock his supplies and swap out used ammo clips. He takes a grappling hook and synthrope, 3 Glowrods, container of water, and a medpack.

"I agree, we shouldn't stop until we are on board our ship and taking off. Heshvaun you are on point, lead the way and lets try to avoid places that voice on the speakers can see us."

HP 29/29 | Force 5 | F 14 R 19* W 14 Human Brash Pilot/Scoundrel 3

"Well, I was sooo looking forward to another of his 'lessons,' but all right." Rufus says with a smirk. He also gathers up as much gear and supplies that he can comfortably carry.

You head through cramped corridors and into an area that serves as a passage way for maintenance and other common labor droids that work on the star destroyer.

You hear a noise from far ahead of you that begins to pick up volume as you go. Further down, you see various droids milling and wandering through the crowd passage. A 3PO droid approaches your group as you move through.

"I am T-3PO, protocol droid. I can translate over four million forms of communication and retain knowledge concerning this Star Destroyer that you might find useful. May I be of assistance."

HP 29/29 | Force 5 | F 14 R 19* W 14 Human Brash Pilot/Scoundrel 3

"Of course! We're looking for the Grav-Ball courts. We're the Tatooine Bantha-Herders, and we've got a match about to start."

"He's joking. Please direct us to the hangar bay."

Static Defenses:
Dodge: 18 Block: 18 Parry: 12 Soak: 12(18)

Kagore gives Rufus a pat on the shoulder. "Sadly your dreams of taking home the championship will have to wait. Iur consolation prize will be your ship and getting out alive."

Male HP 23/30 | R 13, F 12, W 15 | DT 12 | Per +9 | FP 4/5 | DP 1/1 | DSP 1 Umbaran Jedi

Gotal nods in agreement with Colton.

The door ahead is suddenly blocked when a turbolaser lowers from the ceiling and begins firing at you. "It's an automatic defense of some sorts," yells Tallong over the din of the blasts. Before you can respond, another noise cuts in - the familiar beeping sound of a mouse droid! You see it on the floor beneath the laser, its optical sensor fixed upon you. "You have three-point-sex-seconds to interrupt it before the MSE-6 reports on your position," announces T-3PO.

HP 29/29 | Force 5 | F 14 R 19* W 14 Human Brash Pilot/Scoundrel 3

"Okay! Rufus says, taking a shot at the droid and then diving for cover behind the protocol droid.

Kagore and Hesh still needs to go this round and then you may all react again.

Blaster Shot Dmg 2: 6d6 ⇒ (1, 1, 3, 6, 5, 4) = 20

A smoking blaster mark scores Kagore's shoulder and he winces but forces himself to keep going through the pain. All these 'troopers' these days were one shot fall down chumps compared to the clone soldiers of his time. Damage accrued but the mind forced him through it knowing there would be time later to assess how bad was the damage.

Kagores final shot is enough to destroy the battery and it stops firing on the group.

"Very good sir's." T-3PO says to the group.

Your group continues on and the door opens onto the shattered underside of the star Destroyer. You can see the atmosphere boil away through large holes in the torn hull, but enough of the corridor remains for your group to travel.

Make difficult TN 15 agility checks as you traverse the lower hull to avoid flying debris from hitting you.

You push your way through yet another blocked passage to behold an eerie sight. The 10-meter-wide corridor ahead has taken a terrible beating from the outside. Large portions of the floor have been cut open, bending jagged chunks of metal into sharp hills. The ripped hull looks out onto space and while the corridor retains enough of an atmosphere to survive in, it is noticeably colder in this section. Slicing through one wall is a battered Y-wing fighter. Cables spill from the torn nose of the ship, and smoke billows from the shattered cockpit.

Rufus frowns when he sees the wrecked Y-Wing. "Koensayr BTL-A4 Y-Wing. Tough ship. I doubt it's salvageable in the time we have, but maybe?"

Rufus checks out the astromech socket for a working astro droid, and examines the busted cockpit for the chance it can be restored quickly.

Starship repair: 3d6 ⇒ (3, 2, 2) = 7

Rufus you realize there is nothing you can do to get this thing working again. Even the communications equipment has been destroyed. The gun is still operational though.

Making your way past the Y-Wing you find yourselves in a particularly devastated portion of the corridor. You move into an area of exposed superstruture. The floors and ceilings of several decks are blow away here, bending massive chromium girders and jutting metal. As you move further you are suddenly lifted off your feet. Obviously this area has been deprived of gravity.

Tallon points to an opening at the far end of the corridor, some m60 meters distant. You can make it across by pushing yourselves off things to gain any kind of momentum or direction of flight.

As you start to make your way across a long gash in the floor ahead of you opens into space. your rate of travel should take you well past the danger, but the view is spectacular. Especially the six stars, gleaming white, that seem to move closer and closer. Wait! Those aren't stars, those are stormtroopers! They rise up from the open wound, their blasters ready. They seem to have no trouble navigating in zero gravity.

Please roll init! Firing weapon in zero-g pushes you backwards.

Rufus tries to disconnect the ion turret from its mount on the cockpit roof.

Rufus you would not be able to carry that sucker around it's to big let alone fire it. You CAN however operate it from the ship though if you were to go back to it and fire out toward the troopers.

Kagore focuses on recovering his Grappling hook and throwing it across the gap of zero g, pulling the hook taut as he gets the zip line ready for them all to rush across.

"Don't waste time on these delays! We can leave them behind if we cross quickly! Use this zip line and we'll beat them off this sinking ship by a league!"

ST please let me know any checks you require of me to accomplish the above action as well as what effect it can provide for others crossing the gap.

Tossing a grappling hook in zero-g would bey a very difficult strength roll I would say to get it across and hooked onto something to pull. If the roll is made crossing will be a lot easier for everyone.

Colton successfully pushes 2 of the troopers further out into the void slowing them down.

Rufus blaster hit strikes one and he stops moving mid float and pushes Rufus back against the wall of the ship.

Gotal is unable to call upon the force to aid him.

Kagore's attempt to toss the hook fails.

Hesh still needs to go but the rest can go for round 2 as well to keep things going. 2 troopers down, 2 will be making their way back in and 2 on top of colton and kagor now.

Gotal once more attempts to call upon the Force to push one of the Troopers off of Colton and into the void.

TK - 3d6 ⇒ (6, 2, 6) = 14 - Wild 1d6 ⇒ 3 = 17

I figured we did not have time for a medpac treatment, not blowing up is probably the larger priority ATM!

Colton you can try just need to make the rolls for the weight to help move them along.

The trooper that was on top of Colton gets slammed by the force and pushed out into the void again.
