Male Human Commoner

Dovar looks through the supplies that he brought and shakes his head,
"No torch".

"Have no torch."
Reath looks around for some rock to strike with his flint arrow(the arrowhead is flint) to make fire.
"Wood?"

"I have a torch. Can someone light it?"

I have fire stones, come. Arda rummaged in her sack for the rocks.

The torch lit, you can actually see further into the cave, as you head in you see your two clan mates and a third humanoid. Shorter, stockier, and with a lot more hair. Think something between a gorilla and a human. All three look badly injured and barely conscious.

Arda HP 14/14 | AC:15 FF:11 TA: 14 | F:4 R:1 W:1 | INIT +1 | PER 4

Dwarf! Kinda. Arda grunts. Not ours. What want do?

Reath stows his bow and grabs his flail. He studies the humanoid. Initiate studied target

Male Human Commoner

Now that there is more light Dovar attempts to take in his surroundings
what does the cave look like how long does it look like the man has been there. How many inhabitants does the cave have is it just the one Jaguar or is there evidence of more than one.

perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19

+2 to that roll for identifying anything to do with the Jaguar.

Ayla looks over the cave
perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23

Arda HP 14/14 | AC:15 FF:11 TA: 14 | F:4 R:1 W:1 | INIT +1 | PER 4

Arda leaves the torch with the others and starts pulling vines and branches down to form litters.

Survival: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21

It looks like the cave housed a pair of jaguars.

Building litters takes about 2 hours.

Male Human Commoner

Two of those beasts live hear, we watch front? Dovar exclaims to the group as he walks over to Unas and Estas and offers them some water from his water skin.
Who you? Dovar asks the third man.
I offer him some water too if he doesn't seem hostile

The other humanoid doesn't seem hostile, but he also doesn't seem to understand you.

Arda HP 14/14 | AC:15 FF:11 TA: 14 | F:4 R:1 W:1 | INIT +1 | PER 4

Arda grunts back into the cave hoping to speed up their construction. Come. Help.

Reath grunts and slowly turns away. He speaks to Dovar. "Watch him"
He helps construct the litters.

Eventually you get the litters put together. The other humanoid doesn't seem happy, but he either too weak or more concerned about staying here to put up a fight.

Ayla takes the Jaguar's body and puts it over her shoulders
"And your coming with me as I need a new pelt."

Arda HP 14/14 | AC:15 FF:11 TA: 14 | F:4 R:1 W:1 | INIT +1 | PER 4

Arda helps Unas and Estas to the litters. And helps drag them back.

it takes longer to get back to camp than to find the cave, slowed as you are by dragging your wounded comrades back. The other humanoid is mostly out of it still.

But when you return a hush falls over the clan before others start speaking.

"It not here be."

"Unsafe"

"It know camp spot now"

"Maybe it help hunt."

The atmosphere is tense. Ketu eyes the creature with wariness.

He checks for any signs of hostility through the creature's fear and pain.
Sense Motive: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5

He studies it to see if it appears to understand what's going on.

It seems to have some idea what is going on, but is badly wounded and only half conscious most of the time.

Arda stares and points at the appropriate tribe members. Heal, we make cage. Decide what do later.

"If we let go, cage destroy trust."

"Why waste time, food and supplies healing if we just kill later?"

"Why not just eat?"

"Make it tell where others are and kill them too."

"Will it survive even if we try healing?"

"That guy's lost all ordered thought"

"We see if he no attack us first"

Make cage anyway. Useful later. Trap animal. Keep alive until hunting bad.

"Unas, Estas still be sick-sick. Other guy, he no go run. We heal brothers now but watch other guy. If he good guy, he get healed himself but we need feed him some-some. If he good guy, he will want to be helping us when he healed. If he bad guy and he run or steal or hurt, we kill him. He maybe taste good with some fava beans. Ketu and another one watch this guy to start? Or someone take Ketu watch-place and Ketu be healer?"

"...with some fava beans and a nice Chianti"

Male Human Commoner

Dovar watch, Dovar no heal.

Dovar watches after the captive and gives him pinches of his food and sips of his water.

I Dovar
Dovar says pointing to himself.
Who you? he says pointing to the captive.

Ketu takes a close look at the party's wounds and considers what he might need to treat each one.

Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24

While considering that, he applies emergency first aid to stabilise each of them; removing foreign bodies from wounds, having them hold cuts together and so on.

@Browman - I'm assuming I don't need any materials for this? Also, not sure if one roll covers all actions so am doing 3.

nothing the clan doesn't already have on hand for supplies.

The treatment of those wounded fighting the jaguar doesn't work very well, but your skills aid the badly wounded members of your clan. The other humanoid doesn't seem to respond to your treatment.

Arda HP 14/14 | AC:15 FF:11 TA: 14 | F:4 R:1 W:1 | INIT +1 | PER 4

Arda watches the jungle edge from the fire pit, a hunk of meat being held over it on her spear slowly roasting.

Male Human Commoner

It has been a long day and exhaustion begins to overcome Dovar. Thinking that there is nothing more that can be done for the wounded tonight he builds them a fire to stay warm.
"Wake Dovar if need Dovar."
He says to his companions before leaving to find himself a comfortable place to get some sleep.

Grand Lodge

Ketu sets himself by the wounded with supplies gathered from the camp and prepares for a long night.

As he tends to their wounds he hopes Gorm won't try anything stupid. He sees a few members of the clan eyeing him sourly as if this were some kind of betrayal or reckless risk. 'Maybe right', he thinks to himself but hopes the risk pays off and they can get better help or information from a healthier Gorm (even if he's in a cage).

Heal(Long-term Care): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10

In the morning the Matriarch calls the clan together.

"A decision must be reached about the ape-man. The way I see it we have 2 options. We kill him and search to make sure none of his kind are in our lands or we try to talk with him and become friends. Does anyone wish to speak before I make a decision?"

One of the older males speaks, "We know nothing about his people, where they live or how many there are. We need to find out immediately.

One of the other females speaks next "his clan not know we have him kill him then find and kill the rest"

Unfortunately you can't seem to find the right herbs to help him. Still he seems to be doing better than he was.

Arda HP 14/14 | AC:15 FF:11 TA: 14 | F:4 R:1 W:1 | INIT +1 | PER 4

If we make him friend, we learn more about him. Maybe more about his people. Might be useful if we must fight them.

Male Human Commoner

Dovar, who is generally quite when it comes to these types of decisions can't help but speak up.
"He Gorm and he no hurt us, why we kill him?"

"None of it will matter if he dies but we should do all we can to save him, not to mention Esta and Unas who need the same care."

Dovar thinks to himself after he speaks.

Esta and Unas need same help or they die. You know how?

"We should heal up each ourselves, it's mate might come and hunt us."

Ayla was the only one that got hit.

We find Gorms clan. If they no attack, we no attack. If they attack, we attack.

"Maybe Gorm want stay here? Maybe he know secret plants and hunting places he show us? He have sleeping head when we bring him. If we take him with closed eyes away - back to caves - he not remember our path. Gorm show us path his living but not know path our living. Ketu want to learn Gorm! See if Gorm good and wise like us, or wicked and sneaky like barracuda. Maybe Gorm still sleep in bone-pit. Ayla still needs time for healing. Ketu ask clan let Gorm live as guest, like wandering son of father-sister, for sunsets on one hand, then tribe decide for ever."

"So it is decided, in three days scouts aka the party will leave in search of Gorm's people. Take the time till then to try to learn what you can for Gorm. If his people are peaceful, we peaceful; if they fight, we fight."

Arda HP 14/14 | AC:15 FF:11 TA: 14 | F:4 R:1 W:1 | INIT +1 | PER 4

Good plan. We do that.

"That'll be good, it'll give me time to get better.
And turn my trophy into a proper trophy and food."

She'll skin it and have the pelt turned into a new cloak and head piece.

Male Human Commoner

Dovar wonders if there are any plants that he has seen during his time spent alone in the jungle around camp, or heard the elders speak of that might be able to help the wounded. Or atleast alleviate some of their pain.
