Marnir sees Bonefist readying his pistol for another shot and dodges, but unfortunately dodges into a freezing cold blast of magic. The cold seizes up his muscles briefly but his Ulfen constitution quickly shakes off the now unfamiliar feeling of the icy wind blasting his skin.

He grits his teeth and steps up next to Kung, growling at the pirate behind Kung who suddenly looks less than keen to continue the fight, and hacks into Tsadok, trying to break his way through to the spellcaster beyond.

Locking her eyes on the Lamia, Callidoras makes a brief gesture, slamming both hands together as she calls upon a deluge of ice and freezing wind, seeking to entrap the enemy caster.

Ice Tomb (Su): 3d6 ⇒ (5, 3, 2) = 10 cold damage. DC 21 Fort for 1/2. If the target fails its save, it is paralyzed and unconscious but does not need to eat or breathe while the ice lasts. The ice has 20 hit points; destroying the ice frees the creature, which is staggered for 1d4 ⇒ 4 rounds after being released.

As he's been trying all along to get to the lamia, Kung pivots that way but sees her encased in ice. Continuing his pivot, Kung ends up turning a full circle before dashing off towards their main foe, Bonefist. Skirting around the pirate holding his hands unthreateningly in the air, he wheels around the building to try to come up to the ship, encountering a pair of pirates guarding the gangplank.

@Niobe. OK you were only shot once as the Heat metal cooked off the loaded charge. She didn't reload it as she likes not being shot in the face. :)

On deck Bonefist curses with legendary foulness seeing Kung closing on him. He pivots and hurries below decks rather than stand waiting.

The sniper drops her musket as it grows hotter, watching Bonefist running she shrugs, leans against the railing and lights a pipe. She is not taking any more part in the fight.

The guards all see their leader running and think things over, joining the sniper in stepping out of the fight.

Initiative is over. The Lamia is frozen and must be dealt with. Bonefist is now below deck somewhere. What are you doing?

Pirates follow a strong leader. Once they start looking weak then loyalty fades. :)

Marnir follows Kung, directing his legendary growl and angry eyes at Bonefist's minions to ensure they stay away. "Run him down before he gets away!" he calls to the others, keen to chase down Bonefist and end him once and for all.

That ice tomb has saved us a lot of hassle. Great work Cally!

Niobe pulls her hand away from the flesh wound where the bullet grazed her, and bolts into motion. She races across the decks to try to catch up with Marnir and Bonefist.

"I just need to get him in sight..." she says, "... and maybe I can stop him." Then she stops talking as she concentrates her breath on running, a rather unnatural proposition for a merwoman.

With pursuit being the order of the moment and nobody in front of him to strike, Kung rage begins making him weary. His pegleg falters in its rhythm as he stumbles slightly, regaining his normal demeanor. He grabs a potion from his bag then follows Marnir, eager to find the former Hurricane King and end his reign forever.

Dropping out of rage; only 9 rounds left on the day! It's been a while since that number's been in single digits. Grabbing a potion of lesser restoration to end the fatigue if he needs to go into rage sooner than 1 minute.

Marnir is looking towards the stairs that lead below to where Bonefist presumably lurks when he sees movement in the doorway leading into the mansion at the edge of the water. "Hey, get away from that ice block!" he shouts, pointing at the lurking form. "We can't let the lionwoman get get free," he says to the others before changing direction to head towards the doorway.

Marnir motions for Kung to move with him across the lower deck as he heads towards the sounds of cracking and crashing coming from behind what he assumes is some sort of strongroom or locker.

"If you come out and don't make me kill you, I'll let you live," Marnir calls out, hoping that Bonefist can hear his voice over all the noise. He looks round at the others to check that they're ready, expecting some sort of treachery from Bonefist rather than a simple surrender.

The door is thick, iron shod and well made. On his third strike Kung finally destroys it, showing the room behind. "Oh s&#$!" Marnir exclaims as Kung smashes through the door to reveal Bonefist's plan. Marnir launches himself at Bonefist in a headlong tackle, trying to get him away from the powder before he can blow them all to the Boneyard. "Kung, some help please!" he calls as he starts to wrestle with the traitor, his warchant breathy and desperate.

Inspired rage starts without an action, Free Action to 5ft step, Standard Action to try to grapple Bonefist. I assume he's armed with something that he's been opening the barrels with, but hopefully I can pile on him before he gets an AoO.

Niobe, coming down the stairs just after Callidora, unleashes a freezing sphere in hopes of extinguishing Bonefist's torch.

Racing forward, Callidora casts a spell designed to neitralize the threat as well, an expanding sphere of water rolling forward, leaving all the gunpoder it passes over wet in it's wake.

Cast Globe of Tranquil Water

"Upon casting this spell, a rippling bubble of calm water extends outward from you to a radius of 20 feet and remains centered on you when you move."

This means that all the gunpowder within 20 ft of me in every direction is wet, and if Niobe's freezing sphere touches the dome of water, it'll create a shield of ice.
