Henric has no idea.
The ship is slightly angle so that the eastern side is lower than the western one but for some reason you are perfectly balanced as if some force is altering the gravity to compensate.
You go to the eastern door and it opens revealing a long hallway with two doors on the left and one on the right.

Henric Xantrian |

Thought I'd have no idea. For the record, I appreciate knowledge checks having answers, even if the answer is just "Nope, you don't know". =)
Still frustrated over not being able to identify the symbol, Henric spends a few moments staring blankly at the hallway. Eventually, he shakes his head and says, "Shall we keep with the trend, and go left?"

Xaikon Traxnik |

Being unaccustomed to strange building materials, lighting and automatic doors opening. She keeps her bow notched with an arrow as she slowly walks forward following Henric. Keeping her eyes shifting about awaiting for the sorcerer to appear all of a sudden.

DireMerc |

You go to the first door on the left and it opens revealing a laboratory of sorts.
alien medical bay that includes an operating table with restrains in the middle two empty tanks in the back (big enough to submerge a person)
The desk has a lab setup for brewing mixtures and several injectors with blue, red and purple liquids inside.

Jayla Talusia |

In the setting of iron gods, heal could be used to identify components from pharmecuticals. Could Jayla make a similar check on the injectors?
If she had any clear irises, they'd go over the lab quickly.
....10011
10100...unit
..most..eady
.00..0011...
"These glass..containers of sorts.
They could hold people. I haven't seen them, but the purpose feels familiar somehow."

Xaikon Traxnik |

Xaikon enters the room, and slowly walks around the room looking at all the strange items in the room, avoiding touching anything. At times a puzzling look appears on her face as she struggles to fathom what the item is or what it could be used for.

Henric Xantrian |

As Jayla speaks up about the strange fluids, Henric raises one eyebrow, examining the purple fluid. "How did you know that?" he asks curiously.
Heal: 1d20 + 4 + 1d6 ⇒ (17) + 4 + (5) = 26 In case the extra point can identify the purple one. I burned a point of inspiration on the check.
He frowns at Raskir's question, examining the equipment. "It's hard to say. Some alchemical equipment is more sophisticated than others, but this is unlike anyting I've seen. Given time, I might be able to identify the general purpose of the equipment."
Just a stab in the dark, but I'd like to try to figure out the general purpose of all the equipment. With a +9 to Craft (alchemy), I might be able to see enough similarities to make a guess?
Craft (alchemy): 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (4) + 9 = 13
Or maybe not. Unless I can take 10 for a 19 >.>

Jayla Talusia |

Jayla stashed the two injectors.
"As i had mentioned, my first memories are being held captive by the Technic League, whom had just returned from an expedition. They had set up a small alchemy table of sorts displaying several of these things.
I have heard quite some details before the attack that allowed my escape."

Alvoise of Karcau |

Alvoise holds one of the “potions” in his hands, studying it. ”So, you squirt this in your moth or suck on the small opening here? Seems impractical. Are the liquids based on different magic? Why are the colors different?”
He regards the chamber one last time. ”So, a healing room. We should put arrows pointing towards this place in case we need to find it in a hurry. Ready to go?”
I don’t know if there are consistent colors for CLW and Cause Light Wounds potions, but I assume they’d be different from what we’ve found here. Also, I picture these looking more like hyposprays from Star Trek than needles from our current medical tech hence Alvoise’s talking about sucking on it.

Jayla Talusia |

I figure they'd look like this.
"The way they used it, you put that end to your bodypart like arm, chest, neck, to receive its effect."

Henric Xantrian |

Most curious.
Henric glances around at nothing in particular, before realising the voice is inside his head again, speaking with a heavy, unfamiliar accent. The memory was there, but hidden, as if behind a veil.
What do you want?
I thought you'd be interested in this. Take note of your studies. Remember all that time you spent with various potions and mixtures? This is most unusual, and I do not know the means by which this curious concoction was formed, nor its components, but feel it. Listen. Reach out to it.
You're mad.
No, you are mad, because you are hearing me. Can you feel the way your heart slows as you examine it? As you pick up on the power within it? This is some form of sedative. A tranquiliser, even, or an anaesthetic.
How did you-
That matters not. Take care, young one.
Henric swallows, his eyes focusing on the injector of purple fluid again. "This one's a tranquiliser of sorts," he offers, handing the device to Jayla. "You should hold onto it, since you know how to use them. I've never even seen such a thing."
Shaking his head to clear the last mutterings from that strange voice, he nods to Alvoise. "Good idea. What shall we use to mark the walls?"

Raskir Windspeaker |

"Use the chalk. Whoever made this thing had powerful magecraft. Making magical marks may trigger some kind of wards." Raskir seems apprehensive about being surrounded by such unfamiliar technology.

Alvoise of Karcau |

”Does anyone have chalk?” Alvoise asks looking around the room for something that could mark the walls with arrows.
”So does this use positive energy healing magic?” he asks Henric and Jayla holding up one of the injectors with a red liquid. ”Or is it maybe based on some other magic? If based on an alternative, I could use it...I think.”

Alvoise of Karcau |

”At least one of us is prepared,” Alvoise says to Valeria.
He nods in understanding of Jayla’s words, staring at the injector in his hand. Taking a series of deep breaths, Alvoise rolls up the sleeve of his shirt. He runs his fingers over his pale skin. ”I get angry so often. It’s good to be relaxed. Well, can’t help be nervous a bit...If this kills me, it wouldn’t be much different than getting struck by lightning or one of the other dangers of this place,” he licks his lip and swallows.
He places the tip against his arm, gives one final exhalation, and pulls the trigger.

DireMerc |

When you inject yourself your body starts to heal at an incredible rate. You heal 2 points a round until you are fully healed.
Checking the other rooms you find that the room accross the hall from this one is a room like the one were you dodged the lightning (mostly anyway). This room is intact however and features a chair facing a "window" (monitor) that shows the outside of the ship. There is a stick in front of the chair with buttons.
The room at the end of the hall is living quarters, 3 small rooms with beds and strange furniture. The rooms seem to have the bare necessities and nothing more.

Raskir Windspeaker |

Raskir watches with interest. "Strange, it seems like magic but I can't detect any."
Is there any more of that injection? I can use some healing and will take some if available. Are the injections portable (vs. being connected to a machine or something)?

Alvoise of Karcau |

”This isn’t magic!?” Alvoise says surprised as his wounds heal. He inspects the device to see if all the liquid is gone. ”It works so fast. I need to learn how to make this. I’ll take one more for me, and recommend we take as many as we can.”
A peel of laughter bursts from him as he jumps to land next to Jayla. ”Your people did this? Geniuses!” He gives her a friendly slap on the back.

Jayla Talusia |

Her eyes slightly widen at the slap on the back with the over excited mood of Alvoise.
What is with this man?
"As far as "my people" go, i yet still have to physically encounter one.
Whoever made these medical devices, it is unlikely others of my kind.
Time will tell."

Alvoise of Karcau |

Ignore the part about taking another injector then.
”Oh, sorry. I must have misunderstood or made some assumptions. Not trying to cause offense,” Alvoise says with a slight bow.
”So we’re ready to leave, yes?” he asks the group.

DireMerc |

You take the last door you haven't tried and make your way into the cockpit. The viewglass looks out to the cavern outside. Several panels and monitors display all kinds of information in the strange alien language. The most interesting things is a holographic map in the center of the room that shows all of Numeria with several blinking red dots.

Jayla Talusia |

"....A huge window and we can see where we came from.
Quite a feat, this construction."
Jayla looks over all the panels, seeing all the strange signs and text, before stopping at the hologram. She tries touching it, realizing it's an image.
"A map.....of Numeria. Landmarkers, but as to what for i can only guess."

Jayla Talusia |

I'm so glad i have that a trained skill.
Dunno how many, so i'll make 10 rolls.

Raskir Windspeaker |

My skill is pretty weak but I do have a rank in linguistics so why not?
Raskir puzzles over the displays, trying to figure out at least the general purpose behind the alien script.[/ooc]
linguistics: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 1 = 10
Do you think we would recognize this as some kind of airship now? I assume we have at least heard of flying craft of some kind.

DireMerc |

One of the dots is obviously starfall the capital, another is over at scrapwall and another is near Hajoth Hakados (the city you were heading too before you stopped here.) The rest you cant be sure what they mark.
Very few people know the existence of starships. Even airships are very rare with probably only a few dozen in the whole world.

Alvoise of Karcau |

”Some sort of minor illusion?” Alvoise asks Henric indicating the map. He passes his hand through the hologram. ”Impressive.”
He sits in one of the chairs and looks around. He laces his fingers behind his head.”It’s an odd house, but I guess a floating house would have to be.”

Henric Xantrian |

"If it's an illusion, it's a convincing one," Henric replies to Alvoise, tentatively touching the map with his fingers. "This... 'house', this structure, this thing, whatever it is... perhaps it could be from another place - another world, even, somewhere in the sky? Remember the symbols of the Dark Tapestry we found? Perhaps whoever drew them had the same thought." He looks around at the strange script on the walls, maddened at the knowledge that it's beyond his lingustic reach.
