Initiative Turn 2, Pass 1
Simon: 22
Bobbi: 21
Hawatari: 16
Mooks: 10
Al: 8
Murphy: 7
Taking the opportunity of his lucky dodge, Simon climbs the ladder and moves out of sight from Hawatari. You hear heavy footsteps going across the floor above you.
Movement 3m up ladder, then running the remaining 9m this turn.
Bobbi is up!

K_V_D |

Rabbit is running, Al, heads up 'Bobbi' yells out.
Bobbi quickly assesses the remaining gangers and thinks she needs a little more fire power.
She drops her flashlight and quick draws her Super Warhawk and fires both guns at different gangers.
Quick draw dice pool Weapon Skill (6+2) + Reaction (6) Phys. Limit [8]
Quick Draw Test: 14d6 ⇒ (3, 5, 4, 6, 1, 2, 1, 6, 3, 1, 4, 3, 1, 4) = 44 (3 hits)
She lines up the Ares Light at a gawking ganger between her and Hawa (ganger #3 maybe?) and the Super Warhawk at the next ganger (#4).
I will spend edge for Push the Limit to roll edge dice and exploding 6s.
Total Dice Pool Split 8 & 7 (Recoil(1+ Str (1) + gun (2) - 4th shot + 1st shot of Warhawk) 0 + Agi (9) Pistol (6))
Accuracy Ignore limit for Push the Limit Edge use
Split Range Attack: Ares Light 8 + 2 Specialization +2 Edge: 12d6 ⇒ (3, 1, 6, 2, 4, 5, 3, 4, 3, 5, 5, 2) = 43 (4 hits)
Split Range Attack: Super Warhawk 7 +3 Edge: 10d6 ⇒ (1, 2, 6, 3, 5, 2, 3, 1, 6, 4) = 33 (3 hits)
Edge 6s reroll: 3d6 ⇒ (6, 4, 4) = 14
Reroll 6s again: 1d6 ⇒ 3 (1 more hit for Ares light for total of 5 hits)
Damage: Ares Light 6p + net hits - 4 APDS
Damage: Super Warhawk 9p + net hits - 6 APDS
Think I used all actions correctly, Free action to drop light and passed test to Quick Draw test, Attack action to multi attack with split dice pool. Note: Kerrah is ambidextrous so no off-hand penalty

Mook #3 really does not want to get shot to death here, and goes on full defense (-10 Initiative, +will (3) to defense tests for the round).
#3 Defense test vs Ares Lightfire 6d6 + 3d6 ⇒ (2, 6, 5, 6, 6, 3) + (5, 3, 5) = 41
Mook #3 drops and ducks right as Bobbi lines up her shot, and the round clips the doorframe, gouging a furrow into the wall but narrowly missing her target.
Mook #4 sees the massive barrel of the revolver swing up and does the same thing (Full Defense, -10 init, + Will to defense)
6d6 + 3d6 ⇒ (3, 5, 3, 1, 4, 6) + (2, 5, 3) = 32 defense vs Ruger Super Warhawk.
Again, Bobbi aims true and unleashes a roaring blast from her oversized pistol, but the ganged turns at just the right time and the bullet grazes his armor. It leaves a scar across the Kevlar and ceramic plate of his jacket, but fails to penetrate.
Hawatari is up! Next is Mook#4

Hawatari |

Shoot Mook #4 first ...
Agility + Skill + Smartlink = 17 - [ # Shots (4) - Recoil Compensation (2) - Base (1) = 1 ] = 16.
Damage is 7P + Net Hits.
Pthut.: 16d6 ⇒ (6, 5, 3, 3, 2, 6, 3, 4, 6, 3, 4, 4, 6, 4, 5, 1) = 65: 6 hits, no glitch.
Then Parkour my sorry tail up the ladder and after Simon. With an Agility of 9, though, that's 18m of movement before I hit the 'run speed' necessary.
Gymnastics: 13d6 ⇒ (4, 2, 6, 4, 1, 4, 4, 2, 1, 5, 5, 5, 3) = 46: 4 hits, no glitch.
For an instant, not even long enough to call a moment, Hawatari blinks stupidly at the scar on the wall behind the ladder - a bullet flattened against the wall instead of where it SHOULD have been, in the idiot's leg putting him down on the ground. "Mākuso," she says conversationally, 'Well, sh!t' in Japanese, even as she turns her head, shifts her arm, and orders her Predator V to gently, quietly cough a round into the side of the third ganger who hasn't yet had the presence of mind to scramble for cover.
As though her silenced firing of the Predator were some sort of starting gun, she takes off across the rest of the room and down the short hall, springing upwards as she clears the space. Her sword thrusts upwards to make certain she isn't about to slam her head against a closed latch, as well as to discourage Simon (or any left-behind gangerpunk) from trying to do something, and she puts her left foot on the third rung of the ladder and pushes off, twisting and keeping her momentum going as the side of the pistol hand seeks the top of the rim to guide her up and out. Already, she is hunting for her prey ...

I mistyped when I said #4 was up. 3 & 4 used up their initiative taking total defense. The remaining Mook is #5. IF he's shot at, he'll take total defense as well, so it's really just a matter of if #4 is at -1 or #5 is at full defense dice. I'll roll both under spoilers, just let me know which one you're targeting.
If shooting #5:
Damage resistance test 15d6 ⇒ (6, 3, 2, 1, 3, 5, 4, 1, 1, 6, 1, 5, 2, 2, 2) = 44 vs 9S 4 hits, #5 takes 5 Stun damage, and is knocked down from the hit
If shooting #4:
Damage resistance test 15d6 ⇒ (1, 4, 6, 5, 2, 4, 2, 6, 6, 5, 6, 4, 2, 6, 2) = 61 vs 10S 7 hits, #4 takes 3 Stun damage.
Hawatari looses a casual shot at the back of the mooks in the hallway before taking off after Simon. Nimbly clearing the ladder, she enters a dingy but relatively cleared out concrete and cinder block room. Simon is about 5 meters away, trying to get through a metal door (like a push bar fire exit door, you'd guess). You can hear the rumble of a heavy engine, maybe a truck or large van, beyond that doorway.

K_V_D |

Oh yeah, the basics of armor defense. I forget the basics with all the specialty attacks.
Since my attack wont be effected by Hawa choice, I'll go now if its Initiative 11?
'Bobbi' presses her advantage and Takes Aim at the prone mook (Mook #3, -2 to target DP for close range prone, correct?) with her oversized Super Warhawk. Not wanting to out right execute these hapless gangers, she Takes Aim at the mook's armor (Spilting the Damage + Taking Aim).
Will use 3rd edge point to reroll misses.
Dice Pool: Recoil SS from Warhawk (0) + Agi (9) Pistol skill (6) + Taking Aim (1) + Called Shot: Split Damage (-4) = 12
Accuracy: Warhawk (5) + Enhance Accuracy (1) = 6
Split Damage Attack: Super Warhawk: 12d6 ⇒ (3, 4, 1, 6, 6, 2, 4, 1, 3, 4, 4, 5) = 43
Second Chance Edge reroll: 9d6 ⇒ (6, 4, 1, 2, 3, 2, 1, 3, 6) = 28 (total 5 hits)
Damage 9P + net hits - 6 ADPS (half Stun, half Physical)

![]() |

Yes, but Al & Murphy have not yet acted in Turn 2, Pass 1.
Simon, Bobbi, and Hawatari have acted in Pass 1, leaving the Mooks (only 5 has the option to act, until I know which one Hawatari is shooting at), Al, and Murphy to act.
On Pass 2, Simon, Bobbi, and Hawatari will be able to act (unless somehow they lose initiative between here and there), while Mooks, Al, and Murphy will not.
Simon & Bobbi will then have Pass 3 actions, if everything stays the same initiative wise.

![]() |

If Al runs his full movement, he can make it to the outside of the building this turn.
He sees what appears to be an old, run-down garage or similar structure. No signage or logos remain, and all the windows have been boarded over long ago.
The sounds of the engine come from behind a rusty metal roll-top door, but nothing is visible from the outside.
(Reminder, its about 0230 by now, and very dark outside barring any visual enhancements or personally carried light sources.)

![]() |

Hawatari shooting results from above:
Total Defense action, -10 Initiative, +Will dice in defense. 6d6 + 3d6 ⇒ (4, 1, 2, 5, 5, 6) + (5, 2, 2) = 32 defense vs getting shot. 4 hits, for Hawatari net 2
Damage resistance test 15d6 ⇒ (6, 3, 2, 1, 3, 5, 4, 1, 1, 6, 1, 5, 2, 2, 2) = 44 vs 9S 4 hits, #5 takes 5 Stun damage, and is knocked down from the hit

Hawatari |

Note that Hawatari will have covered as much distance as possible, in order to put herself as close to Simon as she can - basically, to be able to intercept / intimidate him from trying to continue to run away (into the truck(?) she can hear on the other side of the door). She'd rather a surrender over making him bleed over bleeding herself, so ... ;)

Hawatari |

The lithe elf keeps a bead on the guy, the katana in her right hand held seemingly loosely down by her hip. "Can't guarantee anything but that if you get face-down on the ground with your hands behind your head and cut the power to the vehicle, you won't die right now - but I'll put a good word in for you with my employer. Can always use a marginally competent slicer."

Turn 2, Pass 2
Simon: 12 (My give up!)
Bobbi: 11 (Shoots
Hawatari: 6
Mooks: 0
Al: 0
Murphy: 0
Mook #3 dodge, duck, dip, dive, and dodge! 6d6 ⇒ (6, 4, 1, 6, 3, 6) = 26 (Shot 2nd Time, Prone, Full Defense) 3 Hits, 2 Net to Bobbi
Can't Dodge This Wrench: 9d6 ⇒ (3, 5, 5, 3, 1, 6, 1, 1, 3) = 28 vs 6P/5S 3 Hits, takes 4P/4S
Mooks:
Chair: Bleeding out
1: Bleeding out
2: Bleeding out
3: 4P/4S, Prone
4: Unhurt
5: 5S, Prone
Turn 2, Pass 3
Simon realizes he is beaten, and REALLY doesn't want a bullet in the back. He drops prone and folds his fingers behind his head.
"Don't kill me, man. I pay, I pay. I'm good fer it, amigo." He sounds pitiful, like a beaten dog whining.
Bobbi is Up, last action of this turn!

K_V_D |

The 5 Ds!
"Bobbi' continues to put the hurt on mook #3. The last shot still ringing out through the small enclosed room as she empties another into the armor of the prone ganger.
Dice Pool: Recoil SS from Warhawk (0) + Agi (9) Pistol skill (6) + Taking Aim (1) + Called Shot: Split Damage (-4) = 12
Accuracy: Warhawk (5) + Enhance Accuracy (1) = 6
Split Damage Attack: Super Warhawk: 12d6 ⇒ (2, 3, 2, 1, 2, 5, 2, 2, 4, 3, 6, 6) = 38 (3 hits)
Damage 9P + net hits - 6 ADPS (half Stun, half Physical)
Next Initiative: 11 + 3d6 ⇒ 11 + (3, 1, 1) = 16

![]() |

4d6 ⇒ (4, 4, 4, 4) = 16 -2 injuries, Prone, Full Defense DODGE! All the 4's, which avail him naught...
9d6 ⇒ (1, 5, 5, 1, 4, 1, 4, 6, 5) = 32 Bring on the pain! VS 6P/6S damage, Mook #3 takes 4P/4S damage
Very very sad, Mook #3 now has 8P/8S damage.
Simon has surrendered & switched off the vehicle.
3 Mooks lie in rapidly expanding pools of their own blood, while the other 3 are in varying hues of scared/angry/pain. They all drop their SMGs at the next possible moment.
1d6 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12 Mook Initiative - They are unable to do so before Bobbi has another chance to pop some caps, if she chooses.
Bobbi IRL, in my mind. At least for size comparison, if not appearance.

Hawatari |

Over the VPN, Hawatari sends, Rabbit is in the trap. Al, not sure where I am, but ... She flips her commlink from 'hidden' to 'private', to give Al a location to home in on. Come find me - carefully - and let's get our package under wraps. And call Mr. Johnson for a pickup. There's a reason she's still alive to practice her paranoia; she's had just such situations go south on her before. "And open the garage door," she adds to her 'rabbit', moving carefully around him, keeping at least a foot or two distant from him, until she can bump the room door's crash bar open with her hip.
Back on the comms, she adds, Ms. Bobbi, Mr. Murphy? If the shooting is done down there, I believe you can turn those fine hispanic boys over to Mr. Czeka for some suitable chastisement - and payment on your part, no doubt. Please note that the employer for Mr. Al and I requires the balance of the MERF crates' contents, so if you ask the Cutters over for a pick-up of your bad boys, please don't imply that the rest of the items are available for the taking. Considering your assistance, I believe we can make sure you get the payout that some of our ... prior help ... abandoned.

K_V_D |

Was waiting on others to roll Initiative but if there are no surprise heroes among the gangers...
'Bobbi' trains her oversized gun on the unwounded ganger (#4 I think).
"You got one of two ways out of here; bleed out or sit it out peacefully," she says slowly, pointing to the obviously mess she made of his boys in only a few short seconds.
"First, hands where I can see them and, SLOWLY, kick your guns over to me." Indicating mook #4, You, tend to your wounded or end up missing body parts," she says pointing her gun menacingly.
'Bobbi' will hold her action and shoot only if the gangers try anything aggressive.
Let me know if Bobbi needs to roll Judge Intentions
'Bobbi' reads her comm while keeping an eye on the gangers, making sure they are either tending to the wounds or sitting still.
Murph, do us the honors, tie 'em up and search them while I got them covered. I got zip ties in my jacket here if you need. Also, respond to Hawa for us. Tell Hawa we got 5 gangers as a present for her Johnson.

![]() |

In the bloodstained bathroom hallway, below a dark abandoned church, somewhere in the Redmond Barrens; "¡Por favor, no lo mato! ¡Tranquilo!..."
The man on the floor slides the SMGs within arms reach towards Bobbi, moving slowly and deliberately. He keeps cl glancing between the bore of her revolver and his wounded (dead?) friends. In short order, she has a pile of 5 HK 227s, as well as 3 Browning Hi-Power pistols, still in their holsters, and 3 folding knives.
On closer inspection, the downed ed gangers all have holstered pistols and pockets where similar knives might live.
In an old and worn garage, nearby to the abandoned church, Hawatari opens the fire door to find a sizeable garage crammed with vehicles. Fossil fuel vapors waft around as the metal roll-top door facing rhe parking begins to rattle open. Al stands outside.
Inside the garage bay, a large pickup truck stands next to a dark blue Ford Americar, while two black motorcycles stand against the wall. Simon makes no hostile actions, and complies with your orders quietly, mumbling what sounds like a prayer in Spanish.

K_V_D |

If we are out of initiative, Bobbi will help tie up the gangers starting with the unwounded one and search them thoroughly, emptying their pockets into the pile of guns.
If we are still holding actions, Bobbi will wait until 'Murphy' has time to heal them and secure their hands with zip ties, while she keeps the gun trained on them.
In either case,
'Bobbi,' still weary of the gangers, replies to Hawa through her comm,
"Five gangers secure, boxes secure. We will meet upstairs with you in a bit".
Next she contacts her fixer, 'Ali,' and says, "Hey girl, we got the gangers secured at the church. You can tell the Cutters to come here or we can deliver them. Let me know either way".
"Not much info about 'why they are here' as there is a language barrier. But we might get more info from their leader Simon".
'Bobbi returns to keep a sharp eye on the bloody boys.
To Murphy she says, "Here's a backpack to store their gear. Then let's march them up stairs when you are finished and meet up with the others".

Cavan |

Cavan takes a seat against a wall to catch his breath. He'd been using a lot of magic. Tapping his comm he calls Roza Karev to report in.
"Hey Roza, yeah, we got em. Is this for the Russians? Hung up already, guess that answers that."
How would I go about removing my Astral Signature from this place?
-Posted with Wayfinder

![]() |

At work now, away from books.
I will have a big post up in the AM with replies and inventory of acquired loots.
Long story short: Action Portion of Shadowrun #1 completed. All thats left to do is get paid! Congrats, team!
Cavan: yes, I forget if there are checks necessary, but you can wipe your signature while astrally perceiving.

![]() |

Cavan:
A magician using astral perception can “wipe clean” a temporary astral signature (such as from sorcery) or hasten its normal fading. A magician can spend a Complex Action to reduce the amount of time it takes for the signature to fade by 1 hour (mentally pushing the signature into the background energy, if you will). No test is required. This action can be done multiple times until the astral signature is gone. If the signature is not completely erased, it will be obvious to others assensing it that someone tampered with it.
It takes a few moments, but Cavan/Murphy is easily able to wipe his signature from the place.

Hawatari |

Hawatari considers the offer made by 'Bobbi', mulling over whether or not The Employer wants the help as well as the director - then decides her head-static is making it too much a bother to figure out, and so decides on a bit of spot interrogation. After all, the guy does want to live ...
So as Al is binding the back of the guy's wrists to each other, she squats down where he can see, weapons still in her hands. "A few questions for you, my little rabbit," she says in her Japanese-accented English, then asks the following questions, letting the hispanic reply after each one instead of rapid-firing them at him.
"Were you working for someone else when you boosted the shipment, or was this your own setup?"
"Did you have a team with you, that you work with?"
"Were the guys downstairs your only hands, or were others of their gang (what is their gang?) working for you as well? Do we have to worry about some of them showing up?"
"Have you sold anything besides the guns and ammo, and if so what and to whom?"

![]() |

In response to Hawatari:
A: "We make it big, we set up a new barrio, could send for mi familia. We try to get a score, ya know? Be the jefe for once."
B: "My team is downstairs. Amigos del barrio, came up north with me to make money, so ka?"
C: "Nos llamamos Aranas Rojas. In English, means Red Spiders, I guess. Don't guess more amigos gonna make it north just now, with no creds."
D: "Tried to sell. Noone could buy, just wanna trade junk and merde for foods. Was gonna part these rides, once we scored some tools, ya know?"

K_V_D |

Having spent some time cleaning up the gear and collecting her things she drops, 'Bobbi' check over the ganger to make sure their hands are secure behind them.
She does through there clothing, looking for anything dangerous or of value.
With her gun trained on each of them as she gets close, "Don't make me use this. The bullets is worth more than you are to me", she says as a cold fact.
Once she feels confident they are bound and picked over, with the gear stashed, she says, "Let's meet up with the boys, Murphy".
She waits for Murphy to be ready and finish his magics, then she has the gangers help the wounded and marches them in front of her back up through the church to where Al and Hawa.
Since Bobbi has has some time with the gangers, can she make up any identifying marks or uniform that might help me id the gang?
Gang Id Knowledge: 7d6 ⇒ (6, 3, 1, 2, 3, 6, 4) = 25 (2 hits)

Bobbi/Kerrah:
Allison answers your call despite the late hour. Judging from the background noise and imagery, you'd guess she's at a club of some kind. Thumping bass, smoke, and lasers make for a chaotic few seconds as she reconfigures her commlink output.
"Bobbi, my girl, that's great to hear. You've captured the group, including their leader alive? I'm sure the client will be most pleased to hear that. Standby just a second and I'll confirm the drop location," her face goes distant for a moment as you assume she uses a DNI to send a message before coming back with you.
"There's an old firehouse, the client has a group there ready to take possession and transfer your fee. It's called "The Station," and they'll be expecting you shortly. I assume you have transport, yes? Here's the coords. A pleasure to have quick and smooth operatives I can count on, Bobbi, good work tonight." With that, Allison closes the call.
While searching the mooks, you find the following:

Bobbi & Murphy: they have most of a case of beer, along with some self-heating noodle cups. The beer is an Aztechnology brand, Modelo Nuevo.
Bobbi: You haven't seen these colors, in this pattern before (red & black checked bandannas, several black-widow style spider tattoos, as well as the double triangle shape common on that spider's abdomen). Your best guess: this is either a transplant group or a new up-and-coming gang. You don't know of many in the 'plex that speak primarily Spanish, however.

Cavan |

Murphy pulls out a can of beer, wincing at the taste.
This really isn't my brand, but I could use one of these right now. Now where did the others get to.
The Irish elf wanders towards the others, when he's in the doorway let's out an uncouth belch. Scratching his belly he uses a tiny bit of magic to fix his shirt from looking like an Ancients symbol to the Irish beer logo.
"So, looks like these guys are either startin a new gang up here, or they are the front runners of a much larger gang. Somethin' to do with spiders or some tek like that. Hawatari right? Did they tell you anythin'? Also their taste in beer is s$!&e."
Is there anything else they have, like drugs that I could sell to my fence. Or just generic shiny and valuable things I can take? Also got a copy of my pdf, found one on a flash drive that I can use through my tablet.
-Posted with Wayfinder

![]() |

Nice on the pdf.
The only drugs are the doses of cram you found on the mooks. Well, that and the stimulants in their system as well as Simon.
They have a few packs of cheap cigarettes, assorted food and condiments and the like, but nothing else of significant value.

K_V_D |

If there is no incident up to church above and we make it out and over to Hawa and Al's location, then Bobbi will set up a group powwow in the garage with her team.
Bobbi makes her way to the upstairs, checking the ganger boys as they march ahead. She reloads her clips and ponders the gang's affiliation,
they don't seem local, nor big time enough to have made the local scene.
One thing Bobbi learned quickly, moving up from SF to Seattle, find out who running the street you are living on. She spent a months setting a who's who list while making contacts in the underground.
'Bobbi' coms over to Hawa once we all determine their whereabouts relative to the church.
"Bringing the crew in now", Bobbi announces from outside. Once she has the group situated, Bobbi bangs on the garage door then lets her self in.
"Well, look at all the fun toys here. Maybe we can make that meet after all, Murphy, she says indicating the vehicles park in various spots around the garage.
Turning to Hawa, "So we are OK with dropping off the gangers with our contacts? We just need the particulars of 'Why' this group is cutting in on the Cutters turf".
As she situates the boys to sit down with her oversized gun in plain view and after checking the ties on each ganger, she continue to speak with Hawa "Learned anything? Or need me to try my personal approach with dear old Jeffe". Bobbi adds a little flourish to her stance to emphasize her sweet disposition as she puts away her big gun.
