Finn and Guard touch the mirrors and vanish from sight.

Finn and Guard:

You Find yourself, In a huge chamber bathed in an unnatural red light from above. Thorny Vines cover the walls and toward the ceiling forty feet above you.( 19 meters) A natural stone bridge crosses though the upper reaches of this room, directly above a large pool of crimson liquid. A large mirror stands behind you its surface rippling as water, the smell of wet fur is over powering here.

But you have just moments to take this in as something attacks you. The demon apes were waiting for you, maybe tipped off by your experimentation with the mirrors but how they knew you were coming is not the most pressing issue.

Two of the Apes just appear and pounce upon you. One hits Guard only managing to land a single Claw 6 damage. The other goes after Finn, who also manages to escape with only a single claw 8 damage

With the departure of Finn and Guard through the mirrors, Toxim casts Cat's Grace on himself in expectation of a rough time when its his turn to step through them.

Also, while Finn is right next to Guard and Guard is able to react, Finn gains a +1 unnamed and a +2 shield armor bonus.

"Yeah, that's why we came here..." Guard says, while Snem already blasts at one of the demonic apes:

Raising his shield and hammer to meet the ape attacking him, Guard swiftly changes the amount of essentia in his gear,

He then awaits the attack of the ape, before swinging his own warhammer at it:

Finn uses two action points for an extra standard action to activate his wand of Mirror Image (1d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4 images) and then lashes out at the ape in front of Guard with a flurry of kicks.

Guard's Flames burns his attacker, Snem blasts at it and Finn opens up on Guards foe. Two Of finn's attacks drive home. The beast in front of Guard Moves back 5' step and Guard give me a will save Finns attack keeps at the Monk But he manages to fend off all attacks.

I think you also missed Finn's mirror images, and couldn't I have stepped up and attack the ape?
Did I mention that Snem and Guards warhammer count as good alignet weapons?

There is no description of what is attacking us or where we have appeared, I guess it is under an earlier spoiler. But piecing together what I can. We are being attacked by 2 of those ape demons in a big chamber?

Ardanto takes a 5 foot step towards the Ape directly below him, more to give the others room to enter than any other reason. His nose wrinkles at the smell of damp fur and he growls menacingly as he tries to chop at the ape while keeping it away from him.

Hampered by the flickering illumination Ardanto winces as his first blow slams into the floor, several inches short of the Demon Ape, sending sparks flying. He presses the attack using a series of powerful swipes to try and force the Demon Ape back.

Snem attacks but misses the wounded Ape-demon as Finn Attacks it hard with his spear, running the ape though and ending any threat from it.
With his target dead, Ardanto moves toward the one near Finn, but misses the Ape-demon, he does manage to dodge the Aps attack as he moves close however.

Daurros Casts a spell upon Ardanto's weapon and from nowhere he gets slammed into as a invisible foe pounces on him from above 24 damage The other Ape-demon moves back and seems to take no other action Finn will save you also get your AoO

"Why do you never leave some for me?" Guard asks, noone in particular, seeing the demon-ape in front of him fall to the ground.
He turns to look for a new target, but finds none close by or easy to reach, so he rearranges his essentia

Snem has no problems to reach enemies though, blasting at the demon-ape that appeared near Daurros:

Snem blasts at the Ape Demon nearest, but fails to land a hit as Finn finishes off the Ape who attacked him. Karkalla steps forward to stab at Daurros attacker, but seems to do little damage. Ardanto gets in one really good hit and moves back to allow his friend room to move. Toxim moves around the others to land a devastating blow upon the Demon-ape. Daurros vanishes from sight and the hurting demon ape starts to withdrawl up the wall.

Guard you delayed and have an opening where Daurros was. You may act before the demon if you like

Guard steps up just as the demon-ape turns to climb up the wall again, bringing his warhammer around to strike at the monsters back:

Drawing upon some inner reserve, he brings his warhammer around rapidly to strike a second time in quick succession use an action point for another attack:

Snem does what it does best, blasting at the fleeing ape again, floating a bit higher to get a better aim:

Well, it is no longer on the wall...poor Demon ape

Guard rushes forward to finish off the Ape as it tries to climb clear of the fight. It falls lifeless to the floor.

Finn looks around wildly, still on alert.

"I hope that's the last of them, but I wouldn't be so sure..."

He flips over one of the dead apes and looks for any booty.

If you look around you will find a door to the southwest of the room, you can also climb the walls to the cliff above.

"Now we are in the thick of it." Toxim looks for a way to get onto the bridge.

Ardanto pokes the apes looking for the one that he wounded back in the ruins. He looks around in the wan light and checks everyone over. "We all okay?" he inquires.

"Small scratch, but nothing serious here." Guard reports, his weapon still ready, his eyes wandering through the 'room' they are in, searching for signs of more apes.
Seeing none, he activates his ability to detect evil.

"Same here, I didn't get clawed too badly." Finn collects up the bracers and puts them in his backpack.

There is a door leading to a set of stairs leading up in the southwest of the room. Karkalla however climbed to the cliff above. From there she can see a door to the south where the stairs lead, it however is not connected to the cliff she is on. She can see a door to her left built into the cliff wall.

Guard detects evil to his left, may be from where ever that door Karkalla is near leads. The door that can only be reached by climbing.

As Daurros becomes visible, it is clear he has suffered some grievous wounds. He holds up a blood soaked hand from his side. "I will live, but I admit this hurts a great deal."

Daurros took a hit for 24 pts of damage.


Female Shifter Rogue 9

"Door ta the south and one ta the southwest and a third next ta me" She informs the others of what she can see.

Just to point out the door to the southwest leads to stairs that go up to the south door.


Ranger 2/ Magus 7

Toxim will go through the door and up the stairs. Is there anything up here other than the bridge?

"Daurros, any idea how we can reach that door up there? Maybe you could cast a flying dweomer on one of us and we could ferry people up there. If Guard says that's where he senses evil, we should try to nip in it the bud."

AT the top of the stairs is a small cliff alcove with only a single door. This cliff is not connected to the other side that Karkalla is standing upon. The only way it seems to reach where she is , would be to climb up the vine covered wall like she did.

Climbing up the vine covered walls would not be very hard A Dc 15 or so

"That's a possibility, but would it be hard for someone to drape a rope down? I would hate to waste a spell when there is another, mundane way. Perhaps there is another way we can't see?"

Daurros will scan the area with detect magic as well, checking for any potential illusions or invisible things.
