My apologies on being unclear on my conditional action! I will use action text next time. Your interpretation was clear, that was exactly what Vladimir was planning to do.
Question: is this cave still considered favored terrain (forest)? It didn't end up making a difference in my tracking roll so I didn't include it. However, I imagine there will be many more opportunities to use the bonus if it applies.

Right?!?! Ahhhhhh I’m LOVING this. I’m sure the absolute last thing Irravin wants to do is lean into his crow heritage, but the potential for a sneak attack is too good!
I’m not sure how these creatures are alive in a kamadan nest. It doesn’t appear that they fought them off; they likely get to coexist with the Kamadans by frequently presenting offerings of food and such

Poor undercommon is fair regarding Irravin. In which case I should mention that the creatures were speaking undercommon and Irravin could pick up parts of the sentences. Note he is perfectly fluent in Elvish which is the language Drow use with each other. Your language section of Irravin isn't filled out, it currently has Taldan.
I'm glad you guys are stoked on some Drow and Underdark stuff. I'd like to mention that I don't know a ton of the traditional setting, and this is my take on it. Come with an open mind and not too many preconceptions if you can! Keep in mind what your characters may or may not know. Vladimir does have 1 rank in Dungeoneering and some is somewhat familiar.

Regarding Vladimir and sneak attacks:
Here are the rules regarding surprise rounds. Check em out!
TL;DR If combatants are not aware of someone, when combat commences that someone gets to act in the surprise round. That means they get a free standard action and everyone else is flat footed (barring special abilities like uncanny dodge).
So if Vladimir manages to go unnoticed by the creatures, he could attack whenever he likes and get a free action before we go into normal combat.

Word! I'll be open minded about your underdark stuff and try to stay true to what Vladimir would know. I think his deductions leading to an educated guess about the creatures would be accurate, but it is also a guess and think neither Vladimir nor I would be surprised to be wrong.
Update: I was wrong! This is awesome! I haven't read about Mongrelmen yet!
Question: I've reviewed my character sheet. The default formulas for mithril breastplates seem to add +1 to relevant skills. It looks like BP is -3, not -4, because a non-MWK steel BP is -3. In that case, adding MWK and armor expert and mithril gives a +1. Can an armor give a bonus to skills?

The Whirling Dervish |

Gotchya. I suspected as much. Unfortunately, I have to have a plant or animal in mind, and have no such thing in mind other than the Kamadans.
In that case, I'd like to prepare Aspect of the Falcon, and will instead suggest Irravin and I take the lead, so that my perception will hopefully notice any ambushes! I'd also like to do a perception check from the mouth of the cave before we depart.

Nyrus, I believe you should have +2 on all those attacks from charging (and -2 to ac for a turn as well.) However, it doesn't affect the outcome of those rolls.
Also I think maybe we should keep buffs and duration on status posts? I think it may help clarify things for everyone. What do you guys think?

Hehe awesome dude. She's taken constitution damage from the poison. I believe you have lesser restoration prepared, which heals ability damage.
Would that kind of info be helpful in ooc comments in the gameplay thread? I thought about it after Verndar's message. I hesitate, because I don't want to overly influence your actions.

I'd like to move a bit quickly through travel to arrive at the Enclave.
If you guys would like an opportunity to engage Elion or Gvene at some point on the trip, let me know here. You can create the scenario a bit, such has when/how you interact with them.
Otherwise I'm going to paint you a very lovely post that ends with you arriving at the Enclave.

The Whirling Dervish |

Damn, that picture of the enclave is awesome!
Quick point of clarification: Gvene and I saw a massive paw print in the Fae woods. My knowledge (nature) roll revealed it was "unearthly". The knowledge (planes) roll I did as we flew into the Enclave was to look back on that paw print and see if I can figure more out about what beast left that.

Indeed!
As a whole the Divine Visage seeks to protect civilization from evil and chaotic forces.
The Seraphic Eye seeks to open the eyes of humanity. It is favored by scholars, craftsmen, diplomats, and mages.
The Shattered Veil protects cities from threats, in particularly upon creatures that prey upon civilizations from within their own walls. They have a much stronger Monastic tradition.
The Reckoners seek to reclaim what has been lost to the ravages of evil. They are favored by Druids, Rangers, and Clerics.

I think we should break chronology a little bit here. In theory Irravin's speech, the questioning, and his answers all occur before Vladimir gives his. I think we should mix between them for more efficient posting speed. I'll prompt Vladimir to offer his experiences, acknowledging they happen AFTER Irravin's questioning even thought it is ongoing. All that clear?
