Sorry, busy days. Bot Doc if needed - things ought to return to normal on Tuesday

A completely submerged creature has total cover against opponents on land unless those opponents have freedom of movement effects. Magical effects are unaffected except for those that require attack rolls (which are treated like any other effects) and fire effects.
Gresham Elmaleh
BTW, since I've run this AP before I can't help out too much with deciphering the clues.
Alessandra
Forgot we were in a surprise round, so just use the swift action (move into melee) and the first attack (critical hit with a short sword) as a standard action; ignore the other attacks.
Grymp
@Doc - "Land-based creatures can have considerable difficulty when fighting in water."
My interpretation of this is that water-based creatures, such as the Sahuagin, incur no such penalties.
Gresham Elmaleh
I assume that they have underwater crossbows as well.
Gresham Elmaleh
BTW in case you were waiting for me, I spent my surprise round getting out my bow so I am done.
Grymp
No, it's not you at all.
When I went to get onto the site yesterday afternoon to update things, it was down, seemingly for forever.
My biggest complaint about Paizo, is their web server being completely unstable!
Grymp
FYI, we're going out of town tomorrow for the holiday weekend. Not back until Monday. It is likely that my next post won't be until Tuesday.

Have a great trip!

Have a nice trip!
I'm also off-town this weekend, and unfortunately I couldn't muster a post at work... If you need to get the game going before monday, Rogar and the familiar can ready action to attack if the enemy comes close...
Alessandra
I have just been called away with work to the other side of the world (like 8 time zones away). I'll be travelling today and will have intermittent access to internet.
I'll do what I can to keep posting, but apologies for any lag in dealing with things. I'll be there until 12 June or so. Sorry about this.
Grymp
Holy moly! Rough week for me. Was traveling Thursday and Friday. The weekends can be tough, and then Monday and until an hour ago, I couldn't get into my work computer.
Ok, let's see about getting things progressed here!

Heh, rough week here, too. I had a bicycle accident, and broke my finger. typing is going to be a bit difficult for the next three weeks...
Grymp
Summers, being what they are, is when vacations happen.
We go out of town tomorrow and back on Sunday, so I may not get any more posts in until Monday.

It's midsummer this weekend. So like the rest of my countrymen, I'll be heading out of town.
If the combat comes to Rogars turn, please bot.
Alessandra
Sorry all - this is the first break I've had since 5 a.m. Friday, when it became clear that a majority of my fellow Brits were actually going to jump into the Abyss (and thanks for that, you cockwombles).
Looks like I'll have time this evening, if nothing else breaks. I'll try and post something then.
Gresham Elmaleh
Just want to check in and make sure everything is fine with you guys! :)
Alessandra
Currently in the process of dropping games left right and centre. Feel really bad about it, but it's clear that 'normal service' has left the building for the foreseeable future.
I'm going to cling on to this game, if I possibly can.

Sorry for absence. Really busy days, and somehow really busy evenings as well. Haven't even had time to watch euro 2016 football :P
@Alessandra: sorry about the Brexit as well. Been watching the news in dismay and disbelief. Interesting times ahead here in Europe...
Gresham Elmaleh
BTW, I disconnected from the internet for the 4th of July weekend. I'm back and am checking on my various PbPs.
Grymp
Ok, so the annual family get together is next week. We head out Saturday morning, and I may not have connectivity again until the following Sunday or Monday (24/25), at which time I'll be ready to kick some butt!
Gresham Elmaleh
Have fun!
Grymp
Phew! I am digging out from under a mound of emails and such at work, and then I'll kick this puppy again!
Gresham Elmaleh
Just so you are aware, I'm leaving for GenCon tomorrow night. I'm not sure what my availability or connectivity will be while I'm there, but I'll try to post when I can. I'll be back in about a week.
Grymp
I leave Wednesday morning for GenCon myself, but I'll try and keep things moving while I'm there.
Grymp
Gresham (and maybe Doc, who took one last time).
Have you a need for the book 2 Cert for Skull and Shackles before GenCon? We're just a couple rooms from completing the required area.
Gresham Elmaleh
No, I don't need a chronicle any time soon. I don't even know to which character I'm going to apply credit... :)
Grymp
Ok. Part two can be applied to a character levels 5-7, so that may help you decide.
It gives 3XP, 4 Prestige, 8,712gp and 5 Disrepute/Infamy.
Most of the items on the chronicle are items you can buy normally, but there are two semi charged wands (produce flame and web), and some bloodroot poison available for purchase.

Sorry for being away. Vacation mode - being 24/7 with the kids makes it hard to find time for posting.
I have no urgent need for the chronicle sheet, it can well wait after GenCon.
And have fun, those of you going!
Grymp
Holy crap I'm tired! Played PFS for all 10 slots! Getting back to the hotel at 1:30 AM, and then back up at 6:30 a couple days in a row can rag an old dude OUT!
Sorry I fell off the net!

Hi all,
Just to let you know that things have changed – yet again – but this time in a good way: as of tomorrow (Monday) I'm taking on a different set of responsibilities, which are more in line with what I want to do and will leave me with lots more time to do other stuff outside work.
Thanks for bearing with me over the last couple months, it's been fraught but it's now not my problem any longer. I look forward to getting back to doing some proper posting with you all!
Gresham Elmaleh
Yay!
