Nope...

Make the check each round with a cumulative +2.

Jaden's turn.
Amar's two handed strike bounces off the armored hide much like Urdock's too flashy strike does. Sparks fly from both, but the creature hardly seems to notice either.

edit: broke the 500 posts mark :)

Male Dwarf Warmage / 7

Urdok looks around at the scene before him, it almost seems as if no one has moved for days. Coming out of his stupor he attempts to strike the creature with his wand again.

1d20+3, 1d4+4, 1d6+3, 1d6=[19 touch attack to hit], [5 force dmg magic missile wand], [9 fire dmg from blades of fire], [1 piercing dmg wand strike]

Male Human Fighter 6

attack bug thing (again)
1d20+11,1d20+6=[20, 11], [7, 6]
damage1d8+3=7, 1d8+3=8

Jaden sees Amar and Urdock attacks fail to cut the beast. With a wisper to the old gods, Jaden sends his axe to work and attack the armored bug.

"Glory and death."

my bad, I was afk for a week longer than I thought I would be, I should have let y'all know.

Jaden's whisper is heard as his axe opens huge gashes in the vermins shell. Organs visible on the inside spasm as Urdock's wand attack sends arcane jolts pumping into it. The creature bites at Jaden hoping to get as much flesh as the fighter did, but is satisfied with the mouthful it does get.

1d20+11, 2d8+6=[16, 11], [1, 8, 6] 15 damage and make a fort save.

Male Human Fighter 6

fort roll1d20+8=16

Male Lizardman Monk 4/ Lizardman 2 (+1 LA)

Am I up?

"FANG IS NOT AFRAID!! FANG IS STRONGEST ONE THERE IS!!!"

Still flanking? Still Bull's strengthed?

1d20[18]+12=30, 1d10[8]+7=15
1d20[18]+12=30, 1d10[8]+7=15

Fang hit's with two suspiciously identical blows...

Wisdom Check:
1d20+5=16

Fang the Obtuse wrote:

Four minutes of bull's strength so you should have plenty of time left. Who is up?

you then, critter.

Not sure what else to do against such a beast, Amar continues to try to get behind it and thrusts with his short sword.

Attack roll, damage, sneak attack if applicable (1d20, 1d6, 1d6=[6], [6], [4])

invisiblecastle is not my friend

Fang continues to wile the beast away and Amar slips in looking for a vital spot in which to store his dagger.

my bad, jaden and Urdock also go before the critter.

Male Dwarf Warmage / 7

Spitting out arcane words, Urdok's fiery hands become wreathed in electricity.

1d20+5, 5d6+3=[17, 5]= 22 to touch attack, [2, 6, 4, 1, 5, 3] = 21 electrical dmg, (Shocking grasp no save, SR applies )

Fang's attack is so nice that you replay it in your head over and over, until you realize their are two new cracks in the exoskeleton, not one. The tears fork together like lightning bolts. Then real lightning flashes across the beast. Pleased with his display the dwarf almost forgets to duck the creature's mouth as he casts his spell.

1d20+11=18

Almost.

Despite it's hunger and the largest meal it has seen in months, the creature is unable to continue the attack. It's carapace glows with electrical energy, and green stuff oozes from its wounds. The body is stuck between the two bridges, blocking neither completely but filling the at the point where the meet at the bottom of the steps.

Jaden's next attack will kill it, as will it's next attack if it tries to.(zero hp)

dark mountain pass 1,2,

Two bridges cross to two different, and massive double doors. The carapace of a colossal insects spans the space* between the bridges, but it does not block either path. The smell of salt is in the air and water can be heard from the dark chasm below.

*near the "2"

Male Dwarf Warmage / 7

"Well now tha' was a wee bit o fun eh? Which un der ya thinks we should open up?"

Male Lizardman Monk 4/ Lizardman 2 (+1 LA)

"Bad bug dead! Eat? Maybe one time, no..."

"Still strong! Open Door?"

Male Dwarf Warmage / 7

Ill get the ball moving :D

Urdok pulls his scimitar and finishes the creature. Urdok then takes the upper passage to the far door, beckoning Fang over he checks for traps the dwarfish way... HEAD FIRST!

Urdok wrote:

Urdock flexes his muscles, bares his head with a flourish of his hat, and charges headfirst into the door.

Reflex: DC 8 million
(spoiler)Electricity does not course through the mage, flames do not engulf the dwarf and no pits--spiked, sharked, acid or otherwise--open below his feet(/spoiler :).

After watching the giant body fall into the darkness and the smaller body run into the door, Fang strolls over to the north door and begins to pull on the massive ring. After a moment the dwarf grabs the lizard's tail and begins pulling as well.
strength check with a +2 aid from Urdock, Ball Roller. Oh, and make another wisdom check.

Amar wipes his blade clean and hobbles after the others toward the door.

FANG SMASH!!!!

Strength Roll: 1d20[19]+7=26
Wisdom Roll 1d20[5]+7=12

Male Human Fighter 6

sorry for the away time, work and all.
add in door pull a thon
1d20+2=16

Jaden takes his last swing and everything seems to slow down for him, and almost comes to a stop. Even more was it all ran faster back up leaveing him standing where the bug was last.

The massive doors are large enough for almost the entire party to step in and pull. Indeed, it is only with aid of Jaden that a crack appears in the door. Ages of crust had sealed it tight but with a loud crack and falling dust the dorrs finally open.

A ten foot path leads beyond doors before turning left. Deep niches are set into the walls, each holding framgents of human skeletons caked in mold and fungus. Rusted metal collars and iron necklaces rest in each niche as well a few still retain fragments of crumbluing burial shrouds. On spaces where no niches have been carved, intricate mural of a humanoid or a hound each wreathed in a long coiling snake, decorate the walls.

Male Dwarf Warmage / 7

Urdok pokes around the hallway doing a careful search of the niches.

1d20+7=16

Amar stares nervously at the remains and graven images. "Noooo... Good dwarf, don't disturb the dead. Tis bad luck. We should try the other door."

enter or other door

Male Dwarf Warmage / 7

Raised in the dwarven tradition of honoring his elders, he tips his hat to Amar, and with a rakish grin, walks around to the other door and begins to shove.

Male Lizardman Monk 4/ Lizardman 2 (+1 LA)

Fang looks as everyone walks to the other door. He gestures questioningly to the door he just opened (impressively, I might add) and after a moment shrugs and walks over to the other door and begins to pull.

Hey, Amar just looks old. Oh ahh ....

Fang the Obtuse wrote:

Impressive indeed. Strength check

Male Lizardman Monk 4/ Lizardman 2 (+1 LA)

Watch this one won't be nearly as good...

1d20[11]+7=18

Fang flexes his big biceps and takes another tug.

*sound of constipated lizard man echoes through the great chasm*

Male Dwarf Warmage / 7

Urdok adds his stout little form to the effort.

add +2 to Fangs roll

Driven by his desire to avoid ill-luck by disturbing the dead behind the other door, Amar rushes to help with the second. His frantic efforts to tug the door open don't seem to help.

2nd Door strength check to aid Fang (1d20=4)

Male Dwarf Warmage / 7

oh yeah you still have to roll DOH!

1d20=8

Urdock and Amar seem to still be looking for handholds as the green hulk pulls at the door. Even with the aid of Jaden though the massive doors do not budge.

how long is Fang Strong? Do you want to try the door again (again, again, again?)

Four minutes of strength. We're probably close to the end, if not there already.

Male Lizardman Monk 4/ Lizardman 2 (+1 LA)
Amar the Sailor wrote:

Let me know soon DM because I definitely want to role-play his reaction when it all disappears... He might weep, I'm not promising anything, but it could be a very dramatic moment... ;)

Doing a mental tick the monk compares the number of attacks he was able to take against the centipedes and figures he still has almost 3 minutes of Hulkiness.

Male Lizardman Monk 4/ Lizardman 2 (+1 LA)

You didn't think it was possible for Fang to look more lost and confused than he already did, but when the door doesn't open to his massive biceps, well lets just say that a world which never made much sense to Fang now makes no sense...

As Urdok urges him to try again it becomes apparent that such an option had never occurred to him, but once he finally grasps it, his face lights up again and he grabs the door with renewed vigor...

1d20[15]+7=22

Male Dwarf Warmage / 7

Urdok whispers to Fang that there is a bunch of cookies on the other side of the door, giving him an extra boost of power.

Roll to assist 1d20=15

And milk, too.

Rolled a 4 on aid another. Can I just take 10? :)

cookies on the other side: 2 gp
and milk too: 1 gp
making the DM laugh: +4 circumstance bonus and

The door pops and a wet sound of splashing accompanies the dust and rust that falls from the now seperate doors. The room beyond has a ten foot alcove before opening to a 30 by 60 foot chamber. One corner of of this chamber is has completely crumbled away to reveal a stagnant pool of water, its surface calm, milky, and mysterious.

Milk!!

Fang rushes in, drops to his knees and takes a drink from the pool. The cookies have to be in there somewhere!!!

Male Dwarf Warmage / 7

Berating himself for teasing his friend, Urdok runs after Fang wary for anything that may attack.

1d20+4=18 Spot

Alarmed by Fang's imprudent rush forward Amar hurries after him.

LOL Talk about incentives misfiring! Urdok, we'll never stop him while he's Hulk-Fang.

Male Dwarf Warmage / 7

I can just see the two of us hanging off of his legs like little kids as he drags us across the room.

You hang onto his leg, I'll get a piggyback ride.

M Draco Electricus author 2, herper 4, canine exerciser 9,

nicely played all. :) a cookie awaits you...
The thirsty lizardfolk rushes toward the milky treat. Just as his tongue is to reach the liquid, the liquid instead reaches for his tongue.

1d20+5, 2d6+4, 2d6, 1d20-5=[16, 5], [3, 1, 4], [1, 1], [10, -5] That is 21 to hit, 8 dmg, 2 acid. Also opposed grapple, and initiatives. Milky ooze goes at five, so unless you roll really poorly, give two actions. (first (it was held), and the second.

1d20+18=19 hmmm... hulky fang might smash grappling milk...

knowledge dungeoneering DC 20

Spoiler:
this great creatures appears to be black pudding, however it is completely white. Though it is probalby something naturally occuring like hypomelanism or amelanism, the first encounter on the Isle of Dread earned it the more common name of Oreo Ooze.

Male Dwarf Warmage / 7

1d20+2=3, Initiative. Rolled REALLY poorly

Urdok stands with mouth agape staring at the snack that attacks back.

Also rolled a 1 for initiative. +1 = 2

Surprised, Amar steps back.
