Fang... (Dex Check: 1d20[12]+1=13) catches the wand/rod/inedible matter, tucks it into his belt and promptly forgets about it. Just like the Giant Black Greatsword strapped to his back...

"What we looking at?"

Avner is scared though he makes a show of bravado, the tunnel is birdless after all. Thunderstrike is nervous, but not as much as his master and no more now than when he was first dragged into the tunnel.

Jaden stands at the west side of the room near the throne. The rest of the party at the east near the pool and entrance, with the group of survivors scattered between.
don't worry about the spot checks. the monsters never attack until the music crescendos. :)

Urdok puts on his red shirt and begins to pull out pictures of his girlfriend back home that he is going to marry as soon as he is done adventuring.

was making a joke about people that the monster always attacks and kills in a movie cause they usually do that right before it happens lol

Man I loved that game... I think I may have to download it this evening and play some...

Jaden stands near the throne, its skeletal occupant crumbling to dust. Impaled by a spear to the back of the throne, the bones appear thousands of years old.

The rest of the party watches Fang shake the water from his body before closing to the throne near Jaden.

To the right a large opening leads to steps going down. The stairs end at a broad platform overlooking a wide chasm. Two primitave stone statues flank the balcony, their impassive countenances caked with mildew. the chasm itself drops away into a black gulf of swiling water. Two bridges span the chasm, exiting the room through seperate double doors on the far side.

the link sends me to the photobucket home page. Do I have to register to view it?

I do not think so. The link may have been to the editing page. Try this: dark mountain pass 1,2,

that worked great.

Amar walks to the overlook to check out the view.

Male Lizardman Monk 4/ Lizardman 2 (+1 LA)

Fang sniffs the bones to make sure there's no meat left on them before heading down the steps to the edge of the chasm. He's not sure about the chasm, because he can't remember if he's afraid of heights or not or even what "afraid of heights" is...

So I end up around where the "2" is on the map. Just in case that's not clear.

Male Dwarf Warmage / 7

Urdok takes the skull and casts light on it. Then he walks to where Fang is standing and with a grin tosses it over the edge to watch the glowing scalp fall into the abyss.

The light drops over the edge illuminating the wall as it passes. Something large and chitinous is briefly passes into the light and out again before the skull splashes into the briny water below.

"Skull fall past icky things go kerplunk!"

"Maybe icky things taste good..."

Fang backs away from the edge a little bit and moves closer to Urdok, hoping that proximity will help out his comprehension. Fang only gets about 1 in 3 words out of what Urdok says on a good day, but right now, he might as well be speaking Kuo-Toa...

Made curious by Urdok's exclamation, Amar leans over the edge for a better look. There must be something contagious about the view because he develops Urdok's manner of speaking, if not his volume.

"Kord'sstrengththatsabigbug!" Amar backs rapidly away from the edge.

The big bug unravels itself from the dark. It'shead is the size of a small hut, filled with two gargantuan mandibles. At least a hunrdred legs carry it to the landing by the statue. The legs seem to click on on the finished stone and the echoes make it sound like their might be a thousand legs. It is only then you realize that there is more than one of the gargantuan creatures. Another has entered the right hand bridge.

Initiative!

Jaden was last at the throne near the spear/skeleton/throne (top of the map in area 1). Urdok, Fang and Amar are near the 2. The survivors are near Jaden still in the main room though they scatter when the creatures enter the light.

One of the giant creatures blocks Amar's Path back to the throne room 4x4 square between the statues. The other blocks the right door. The creatures are slow to act however, perhaps the largest meal they have seen in a while dulling their senses. ini 3--you all go first. O:)trying to find out if we have lost Jaden.

Jaden posted in Fakey's game this morning so he's still around. I'm sure he'll post tomorrow.

Amar looks at his short-sword and the giant insects; his quarterstaff and the giant insects; his daggers and the giant insects. Closes his eyes and wishes Farlanghn get me out of here. He opens his eyes but, regretably has not moved. "Fang, stay your hand a moment. Kord blesses you and gives you strength."

Cast bull's strength on Fang. (+4 to strength) Go get 'em,tig -- umm lizard.

Male Dwarf Warmage / 7

"All righty Amar ole buddy, stick yer arse ter mine n' lets get back ter the group." With a maniacal howl the crazed dwarf wreathes himself in flames in hopes the bug may be worried about snacking on something burning, and charges the bug between him and the throne room.

I cast fire shield on myself. Any attacker using a natural weapon takes 1d6+6(level)+3(warmage edge) fire dmg per attack that hits. I can't technically do a intimidate check but ill try my hardest to be scary.
1d100=20 the flames are violet colored if it matters.

Male Lizardman Monk 4/ Lizardman 2 (+1 LA)

(As the power of the spell flows into him...)

"Arghhh!!! Fang Angry!! Fang smash!!! Fang already green..."

I assume that I'm within 5 ft. If not drop the second attack and add +1 to the to hit on the first attack

Fang steps forward his ripped shirt flapping in the breeze, his fists flying in deadly arcs of deadliness...

Assuming he doesn't get burned, Amar will stay quite close to Urdok's arse.

Fang's pants turn mysteriously purple as his muscles bulge and his voice thickens. He takes two serious strikes at the gargantuan insect and sounds like stones cracking eminate from its chitinous belly. Jaden's hammer does similar work nearly twenty feet away on the other side of the creature.

I gave the flank to J&F, but if J wants to step 5 he can give it to Amar instead. This might be a good point to remind everyone about action points though. ...Or maybe there is a better opportunity later >:)

No biggie. I wasn't even sure if Urdok and Amar got past the big beast. So I threw the flank question out there for you to rule on. Jaden can have it.

The beast covers the entire entrance to the throne but Amar last blow causes it to fall. As it does an opening appears if one can climb over it's twined body. Legs still twitch, in an disoncerning manner. Perhaps it is the volume of twitching legs and not the manner so much.

The second centipede climbs down the wall and crosses the bridge. It snaps at Fang with mandibles larger than the lizard himself.

Without knowing why Fang takes the greatsword off his back and plunges it into the creature's tail. A tendril of smoke leads from Fang to the sword as the creature turns and spins throughout the fight.

cool thing about the Monkey Paw items--I made up the magic. Cool thing about great minds... well, lets just say you are closer than you think. O:)

Jaden watches fang drive his sword into the bug, and follows in kind with swing from his axe.

Amar runs toward Fang and the centipede. "Back to the pit you --- weird thing." He thrusts with the shortsword.

1d20, 1d6, 1d6=[7], [2], [3] 11 to hit, 13 if I can get to sneak attack. 2 normal damage, 5 if sneak attack works.

Go team.

Jaden steps over the first carcass throwing himself off balance as seen when his first attack goes wide. He recovers well enough for the second blow as the axe blade bites into the exo-skeleton releasing a very earthy smell. with a move you would have gotten one attack--I chose the one you hit with :)

As he crosses under the beasts maw it snaps at him getting an enormous mouthful of empty air. The beast is too confused by the tasteless morsal to continue its attack. 1d20+11, 2d8+9=[1, 11], [4, 2, 9]natural 1: 1d20+11=25 followed by a 25.

read/post the description then speak the command word. you can set the command word (free action).

Fang rips into the beast again and again. At one point he has two shield sized chunks of exoskeleton in each hand. He claps them together and roars, spittle flying from his green lips.

Amar wraps both hands around the hilt of his weapon, pausing just long enough... as he hasn't rolled the dice :)--perhaps I should have put your action above the critters, but you do get an attack now.

1d20+6, 1d6=[2, 6], [6] 8 to hit, 6 damage , but I doubt it applies.
