Ok, and with that last email having been sent, my Christmas/New Year Holiday begins!
There will be family, and friends, and out of state travel, so I will do my best to post, but at least during the Monday-Friday of next week, it might get a bit tough.
GM, feel free to bot me as necessary.
Happy Christmas to all!

Happy New Years, everyone!
Should old adventures be forgot
These specters of our minds?
Will all our stories be for naught
Our journeys lost to time?
I raise a toast to all my friends
In person and online
I'll treasure all our memories made
For auld lang syne.
Ok. So, you've exhausted all diplomatic opportunities. On the other hand, your testimony that she admitted to killing Durovar while working for Astral Extractions is sufficient "evidence" without outright combat. You might miss out on loot (temporary, not end credits) though.
I will "pass" on my vote, since I've run this.
I am as fine w. moving to fight - or calling it a success in having this confession.
Dear all, I must apologise. I got completely turned around and thought we were with the Level 21 Crew, when we were actually with the Downside Kings. Sigh. That's why Thomagar was so willing to talk... I'll roll with it in roleplay, but I'm fine either way.
I abstain from the vote
(I've run this before so do not mind that much whatever is chosen)

I'm actually keen to experience it, if it is not too long. Like the full experience, so to speak. :)
And now for the dubious prospect of Starfinder PbP: Starfighter Combat!
While people have the opportunity to respond to the factions, it would be good to lock in what everyone's planned role is, and I'll post some "handout' materials unless I can snag them from someone.
Pangea Epsilon is proud to say that whatever role it takes, the Android will shine equally
Thomagar would be best as a captain (+10 bluff for taunt, +10 diplomacy for encourage). Second best would be gunner (+3). Worst case scenario is science officer (+4 computers).
So I added a chart for ship assignments people can drag their portait and add your modifier (for botting clarity) on the game sheet.
Here is what I'm proposing for the flow, to stream line spacecombat. It's a variation of what I've seen other PbP GMs use:
<pre- step 1>: Determine the positions everyone will use for the upcoming round.
<pre- step 2>:Determine where bonuses are going to be allocated for the upcoming round (including Captain Aid and computer bonuses)
Combat!: GM rolls Pilot Initiative and Enemy Initiative.
Party acts simultaneously for all Starfinder actions, including but not limited to:
Pilot moves the ship appropriately and uses any stunts
Captain Action rolls
Engineering Action rolls
Gunning Action rolls, etc -- There are only two guns, so you can do "Rolls attack if in firing arc for Forward gun, otherwise, assist gunner"
Finishing combat step: Please suggest changes to bonuses / positions in your post / before the last party member posts.
Round 2: start from "Combat!"
Does anyone have other suggestions?
Pangea can skip having a position if there is a better gunner.
Unless someone objects, I'm going to have Thomagar as Captain and Cestkion as Engineering.
I also added some +1s that can be assigned to a check, you can move them onto the icon of the player. The +2 is the Captain's Encourage, if that is used that round.
If everything is set (most importantly bonus to initiative), I'll start things off.
Dear all, really sorry. A crisis came up at work this week and things are a bit crazy right now. I just got home from a 16hr day today, and things don't look like they will improve just yet. I believe the situation will improve past this weekend. Please bot me freely.
Sorry would be away for a short vacation til 18 Mar, Sun. Still have access to Internet but posting might be slow. Please bot where necessary.
I'm going to a convention this weekend that starts tomorrow and runs until sunday night. This afternoon and evening i need to finish off my prep for Solstice Scar multi-table special, so i'm going to be very busy from now until monday.
Please feel free to bot my character and i'll be pack posting around monday lunchtime UK time. See you all then!
And it turned out to yes, be over surprisingly fast. Some good rolls on your part, bad on his, and a tanky level 2 apparently make a big difference (when I ran this tabletop with all level 1s, they were about a turn away from a TPK)
We're coming up to the conclusion!
And that is largely it! As we're wrapping up, I need the following from everyone:
Thanks to everyone for sticking through this. It went a bit longer than expected, but the "mini dungeon crawls" always take a lot longer in PbP than they do tabletop. If anyone has any thoughts or critiques, let me know. I'm more than likely going to run this again sometime.

I thought the length was fine. Modules run longer in my experience so I expected it. GM, any chance you'll be running part 2? :)
GM, any chance you'll be running part 2? :)
I'll probably do it at some point, but given my uncertain schedule I'm not going to commit to a 3+ month commitment until things settle down. Having to manage expectations and all ;)
I'm more likely to run this again before running part 2, as I made sure to get the prep-work done a lot so I can re-run it.
Sorry but can I check on the progress of the chronicles? I'm waiting on that for another game starting soon.
