Did I miss something or am I still waiting for my init?
I would go, because you follow Payday and the hunters like Ordrud. They just went, so it's only PCs and Tyne (that ally NPC) now.
cheers

Whoever hasn't gone yet this round can go, as I noted a little ways back. I was hoping that Talavuc would have an action to take.

Going to be taking a trip out of state for the weekend, and will be inactive during this time. Probably gonna be out from Friday night until Monday morning.
Feel free to DMPC him if he's holdin' up the action. For the most part, he's just going to keep up the "I'm Halak, I'm so awesome I don't have to charge in" routine, letting the zombie do his fighting. If something nasty jumps out behind him, he'll probably A.) run to Ordrud like a child, or B.) use his arcane bond to recall a cause fear on it.

Lucent, is there a way to scale the side of the lodge in any way? Also are the windows at E8 and E9 blocked like the others? If so That is the route that Teleadon will go.

And once more: Sorry that wasn't my best post. I hurried it along so that Lucent could post the round 1 recap. I am sorry I though I still needed to wait for some sort of other action.

As for climbing the lodge wall, the DC would be a 25. Normally a slippery lower story wall would be a DC 30, but since it is a log-cabin style building there are more adequate handholds, so I lowered the DC by 5. Still quite hard, however. The climb to the roof is 10 feet on squares adjacent to the north and south face of the lodge (the low ends of the pitched roof) and escalate 5 feet higher for every square away from the southern and northern faces.
The roof's steep incline would provide a challenging balancing act as well, but we'll cross that bridge when/if we come to it.

In looking at Styv's post, I don't think he can effectively bull-rush the prone opponent. But, he can share a space with him. As such, I've turned Styv's bull-rush attempt into an attack roll. Even with the lower modifier, he still soundly hits with that shield-bash. Including damage below. Recap to follow.
I originally wrote the post as a charging attack, but I didn't know if I'd be able to occupy the same square as the hunter or not, hence my idea for bullrushing
But I wasn't sure if I'd be able to do that to a prone opponent, so I'm fine with going with the shield bash.
In other news, when we level I still definitely will be taking my 3rd level in my current class so i can pick up Close Combatant
That +3 to damage with the shield (and with the spiked gauntlet, even though Styv hasn't used them, I don't think) will help out a bunch to make up for that 1d4(and 1d6 offhand)
Woo, I'm excited for this fight!

Lucent, your summary posts are awesome. I love this game!
EDIT: Maybe, let Ar'Z go before the hunters to have a better split between PC & NPC actions.
cheers

Also not a bad idea, If it's something you wanted to do Lucent.

I actually prefer keeping Ar'Z in the block with Talavuc for now since he's on that side of the lodge. If he winds up moving deeper inside and it makes more sense to have him act on the other side of the hunters I'll switch things around. For now I think he works where he is, since I run everything after the hunters (including Payden) in one 'block' as it were.
The main reason I divide it up right now is because any opportunity the first three get to disable the hunters could have strong impacts on the latter turns. I know Payden isn't going down in a single round (or possibly even two rounds of sustained combat), so I'm less worried about someone having to retcon their turn. Etc, etc.

Post on the way soon!
Also, today's my 22nd birthday!
woo!
Happy 22! Celebrate big.
| Ar'Zarrcal |
Happy 22nd! You share the same birthday of one of my closest friends. You are also the best horoscope sign (I may be biased in this...)
Have a good one, though your youth makes me feel old.
I really wanted to have Ar'Zarrcal throw the torch at one of the hunters, but the negatives would have been way too high to make it worth attempting. Plus, setting off any gunpowder they might have on them could be dangerous.

Now I feel old.
Oh, please. I'm old enough to be his father.

I'll try to make it a good one

Hey Styv
For a birthday present, here are some recent optimizing threads for shield-bashing build ideas.

When I didn't think the fight could get more epic, it does.
Bravo, Lucent!
