Ffs. Wrong profile again. Its ok, Eryda isn't really a fun person that way who enjoys games. I was trying to waste time slots haha.

Arriving at the fair, Eryda was slightly taken aback by the amount of people and the noise they were making. She looked around, trying to match a face to the description she was given of Savah.

I wanted to purchase the supplies today because it didn't make sense for Eryda to be walking around with rations and whatnot when she was still in Sandpoint. At least now I have an excuse to buy things a villager would never have use for.

Also, if you could point out Savah to me, it would be awesome. I remember reading somewhere about the stall she was running but the morning sun disagrees with my brain and thus I am ending my post with a throbbing headache.

She needs a happier face.

Hmmm the cause of suffering and death. He quickly reshuffles the deck and begins laying out cards. He flips over the past and studies them. In the past you trained in a hard school one many buckled under for a lack of steel in them you however came out ready and with a purpose. However the pride you took in that at one point brought you to great harm and now is a shame you wish to redeem with this quest. He looks at her and notices she is focusing on the cards. So he flips the present and studies them before speaking. In the here and now you have sought me out to guide you for your quest. However this has made you lose your way. Because of this soon many shall suffer for your vanity. He looks at her and gulps before flipping the future. However despite this soon someone will find a clue a bit of information that can lead you to what you seek. But if you go alone you shall be lost you will need the fellowship of others to sustain you. If you do this you will find the tyrant and see him cast down before you. He sees the anger upon her face and knows this isn't what she wanted especially the present. The cards however have shown him once agin the crisis is coming this day.

Yet another weird reading I swear my harrow deck is trying to make the npcs hate me.

He sees the seer walk in and jumps up bowing and nearly knocks over his table. Madame Mvashti my teacher spoke highly of you. I am humbled by your vistit. Oh your hear for a reading.... I fear I am not worthy but I will do my best for you. He selects the suit of Wisdom and Watche's as she picks the Owl. Wisdom, temperance, and watchfulness.
He shuffles the deck nervously. He does the lay out some of the cars being crooked instead of the neat lines of previous readings. Why me I am Not Ready for this. He flips the past and speaks in a quivering voice. You have lost something and therefore are lost yourself. What was lost was ripped away and hidden from you. You seek its return no matter what the cost to anyone.... You can read the cards anymore can you? Not like you used to. That's why your here to see if I'm a fake. Your question Is Tiazara Tyrneamitore a scam artist and if not can he help me? There at the end his voice grows steady and somewhat angry at the accusation. He filps the present. You will never be shaken from your goal against everything even time itself you will stand firm. You think you have found a clue now in me. But the whirlwind comes this very night. The cards have been saying that all day. Your proof will come this eve. He sounds a bit upset as once again the present holds doom. He is ready to be done though and flips the future. If you don't turn from the path your on you will begin to abuse what you have. From there things will grow worse. Til finally your obsession will make you into that which you despise. I would ask you for council on what the cards have been telling me but in light of your oopinions of me I will not.

I would like to rp against her if you don't mind he really does have questions for her. Also those were the actual lay outs lol.

Okay each card has a base meaning and misplaced meaning. They are arrayed in the columns of three rows tbe Columns are from left to right past present future. The rows from top to bottom are good neutral or qualifiers and the bad. Each card has both an associated ability score and a alignment so from you have the suits of Str, dex, con, int, wis, cha. Each ability score has certain things tied to it. Like money is tied to intelligence and battle to str. This dertimes what suit they draw the card to represent them from. If it shows up in the lay out it is supposed to have extra significe. Also if a card is in a place that matches its alignment. Upper left hand corner is cg bottom right is le. If a card is is in a place that opposes its alignment somehow it is misaligned and the second meaning is used. Note it can be misaligned and a partial match. So for all my readings they said in the middle column doom was upon us something bad was coming. Which fits lol. That help at all? The harrowing booklet can be downloaded for free off the site here.

That was not what I thought but what the cards said Madame you know that just as much as I. But what I was going to ask was for the last six months the readings have grown grimmer and grimmer. Then in the last few days the doom the cards have been telling mefof has shifted from the future to the present. Last night I was performing a Harrowing using my inherited deck with the added cards made by the family I recived it from. It drew eight Eight of one card that can't happen but it did. And then I saw I wasn't even in the tavern anymore I waslost in a sea of horrors. I saw things I will never forget. Please help me understand what's coming. I saw this town burning this night unless it is stopped and I don't know how too. His voice has by the end a pleading tone that of someone begging for the pain to stop. He looks down at the ground tears leaking from behind his mirrored mask. He asks in a small voice. Please Grandmother help me. Please.

Knowing Shalelu didn't like the reading he refused her silver and told her to only pay him after this night if she thought he deserved it. Also I wasn't doing this to earn silver but cause its what my character does its like breathing for him lol.

It means something great is about to begin. Whether the end result is great evil or great good has yet to be determined I think. You found yourself with horrors because the path was begun by one that would see it end that way. Perhaps the town will burn, perhaps it will be stopped, perhaps it is merely a firework show. You must learn that what you see is not always what you think it is. You must learn to see the possibilities not definites.

Eryda marches her way over to the Cornugon Smash, where a woman could be seen attending to a peculiar contraption. The large human from the tavern last night traded hammers with the woman. Odd. What are they doing? Unfortunately, Eryda did not get the chance to speak to Savah until a few minutes later, for navigating the fair was something close to a nightmare.

When she arrived at her destination, Eryda inquired of the woman. Greetings. I am Eryda Stouthaft, apprentice smith of Red Dog's Smithy. I have been recently unemployed, due to the fulfilment of my agreement with the man. I pull the string a couple of times to gauge its draw strength and realise it doesn't require much to pull back. I pick up an arrow from the counter and nock it to the string, raise the bow up in front of my face with an outstretched arm pull the string back with a practiced ease. I hold my breath for a couple of seconds before releasing the arrow and watch to see if the arrow flies straight towards the target.

Tarinhil smiles and chats with each of the food vendors, "That smells absolutely divine.... What's your secret?..... Well, you can't blame me for asking, I'm always looking for new recipies for when I'm on the road.... Oh, no, just a small portion please.... I need to try everyone's in order to judge fairly, after all.... I can't eat six full meals... well, at least, not at lunch."

After weaving in and out, the gnome carefully brings his many dishes to the nearest safe place to sit down, and samples each, then ponders, and then samples each in a different order, and ponders some more.

After roughly a dozen permutations, he begins to mentally rank the dishes, then begins to test his rankings by sampling the two best dishes, one after the other to confirm.... and he continues to do so until nothing remains of those two servings. Finally, he stands, decision made. Very, very close. The venison is perfect, and the peppercorns just add a pleasant bite and woodiness..... but they just don't have the same overall warmth and savoriness of the curried salmon.

The gnome stands, taking his now (mostly) empty dishes forward to return them for cleaning and smiles at Ameiko as he tosses a token into her bowl. "Well done, indeed! Apparently I chose well when I came into town last night... I love complex flavours and spicy food!"

It's alright... I've got one piece of jerky left. And. this is the best time I've had in years, nay decades.

Eryda grimaces slightly. She hesitates for a second, mentally calculating the remainder of her fortunes and the price of her suit. I am reluctant to part with the suit, for it was crafted by me, for me. I will have to decline your offer, I am afraid. Pity though, that you're not hiring.

She paused for a moment. Wanting to collect her thoughts before talking again when a loud bang caught her attention. After the announcement, Eryda turned to regard Savah once more. I hope to speak with you again after we have both feasted. By your leave.

Eryda makes to leave. If unhindered, she seeks out Ameiko. Before she reaches her stall, Eryda already catches wind of the signature spices that scream the Rusty Dragon. She waits for her turn, if there is a queue.

Zara

Well thank you Sir elf. I think it is safe to say I win yet again this year. She smiles at her overflowing bowl.

--------

Aeron

The Sheriff nods and claps Aeron on the back. Aeron finds most of what he wants spread about several stalls.

---------

Eryda

Savah smiles as she rushes to join everyone else in the lines. Eryda finds herself in the middle of the line for Ameiko's stall.

---------

There is another thunderclap. Father Zantos hops up again. Once again the winner is the Rusty Dragon! Alright folks the games are open again. Get your fun in before we consecrate teh temple!

Unalaq cocks an eyebrow, "Ah, there you are Shayliss. I've been watching for you all morning. The sheriff asked me to help with security for the festival so I've been all over town. But now that you're here and its time for lunch, perhaps we can sample some of the dishes together?"
Dipomacy 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (12) + 11 = 23
After lunch perhaps we'll see if the Cornumgon Smash has been fixed from Aéron's assault.

Shayliss remains at your side throughout lunch and heads with you to the smash after lunch. Maybe you should take off your shirt so your armor doesn't get in the way of your swing. she coos.

the new top prize is a wand. Though what it does she does not say.

After a satisfying meal, Eryda congratulates Ameiko on her win and heads out to speak to Savah again. She notices the the local wench hanging onto what seems to be a strange male. I'm assuming you are Suli from the statblock. She joins the queue for the smash, hoping for some sort of influence if she participates in Savah's activity.

Eryda:
To your knowledge Shayliss is just a young woman. She is certainly not the local wench. You have had no dealing with her other than she has sold yo things in the general store. There is some rumor that she is a flirt, but wench is far to strong.

Mini did you know it won't let you burn anything over 100 rolls?
Tiazara decides to play with the catapults under the idea that being good at math would make him a better shot.
He spends half an hour or so watching and figuring wind speed and flight angles. Once he has determined he has it he steps up so to speak. Let me try this sir I'm fairly sure I can do this.
1d20 - 3 ⇒ (16) - 3 = 13
1d20 - 3 ⇒ (5) - 3 = 2
1d20 - 3 ⇒ (18) - 3 = 15

not sure what if anything that does...

Unnamed

those doing the catapult you only need 1 roll. a mistake on my part but we will go with it.

Aesrick Battlehorn smiles as he brushes some of the endless suppl of sawdust from his beard.

Not quite sir elf. Here y go! He hnds Zara a swallowtil luck token.

Meeeeooooowww wines Tsurna, and Aesrick reaches down and rubs under his chin. He seems content.

tried doing a 1000 and worked down from their then hit post like a dummy lol.

Pulls Tsurna out and holds her. Yes she is. You can pet her if you like. For that matter just attach the token to her collar. I really thought I had it all accounted for ah well. Can't win them all. I guess the pixie is next.

Aesrick holds her and smiles and she bats his beard knocking out more and more sawdust. He attaches the token to her.

Tsurna sneezes from the dust and looks at Zara confused. Aesrick laughs. and gently passes her back
