Paying attention to everything around you allows you to hear many different sounds through the bushes and thorns of the tunnel walls. However, it also seems that you are paying attention to everything except for where you put your feet. You trample through the nettles like, well, a herd of dwarfs. You can easily hear rustling and squeaking from the tunnel to the left.. many somethings can obviously be found in that direction.

The party slowly advances, and turning the corner you are in for a surprise as ten goblins cheer, whoop, scream, and otherwise deafen you with their cacophony before setting upon you in two waves.

No worries, hopefully today goes better for you both.

I stay were I am and sigh deeply, I raise my Axe and attack the closest Goblin, making sure not to move from my spot.

My attack goes wide though as I bring up my shield and manage to knock my axe arm slightly. I regain my composure and hold my shield in front of me, hoping to defend everyone.

The team starts off at a disadvantage, unused to fighting in such cramped quarters. Both Daelric and Volkar miss their marks, and Kiera's bolt goes into the ground behind her.

The first wave of goblins reaches the heroes, with several of them striking out at Volkar and Daelric.

Volkar, you are forgetting the -4 to attack on your rolls.
Andrezi grants everyone some godly help, while Kiera tries to end the fight quickly with her magic. Of the front line, Daelric is the only one to connect, splitting his gob from crown to cod with one mighty blow.

With shrill cries and defiant abandonment, these survivors of the Sandpoint attack set themselves upon the party in a fervor of bloodlust. Luckily for the companions, only so many can get close enough to try and fight.

I grunt as I am wounded, "Definitely need that better armour if Goblins can get through this one!" As the Goblins drop to the floor asleep I look to Kiera and nod in astonishment, before turning my attention back to the sleep Goblins, where I start attacking them whilst they sleep.

I then briefly look to Andrezi and bow my head in thanks for the divine assistance.

Target should be Flat-Footed I believe, due to sleeping. Attacking Green this time.

Volkar squishes another sleeping goblin, opening up the front rank for the team, and buying some breathing room. Kiera continues to try and help out, but this bolt once again somehow manages to land behind her as well. Is she even pointing it the right direction?

Unfortunately, the breathing room is all too short, as the flanks collapse in on the void, climbing over their dead brethren with shouts of glee and abandon.

Feeling lucky I bring my axe up, under the chin of the Goblin in front of me.

Whilst I go to attack I see the Goblin moving out of the way of the attack, at the last second I am able to spin my axe enough to catch the Goblin cleanly on the chest. However due to the sudden change in direction, the blow is weaker than it would have been otherwise.

I understand that Kiera, one of the down sides of a Caster type. But they can be fun to play too, so I feel for you, I really do.

Glad to be slowly taking down their numbers, I bring my axe across the chest of the Goblin who has injured Volkar.

War-Axe Attack: 1d20 + 6 - 4 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 6 - 4 + 1 = 23
War-Axe Attack: 1d20 + 6 - 4 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 6 - 4 + 1 = 14 (Bit of Luck)
War-Axe Critical Confimration: 1d20 + 6 - 4 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 6 - 4 + 1 = 20
War-Axe Damage: 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10
War-Axe Critical Damage: 2d10 + 6 ⇒ (10, 3) + 6 = 19

Total Damage : 29

Not only do I cut the Goblin down, I cleft the critter in twain, spraying it's blood and gore all over it's friends. "O akhan mel arlac ac den dech rhaan druukaan duun o duun!"

Goblin:
"You attack him again and this will be done to you too!"

It's ok! I'm not worried about it at all! I'm just trying to make the best tactical use of resources. I don't want to waste all my cold iron bolts when I should be saving them for a monster with DR/cold iron, and there's always a chance to get that natural 20 and hit with the dagger! If we got really bogged down I'd start using my spells indiscriminately and then we'd go rest. :)

Andrezi continues helping to bolster Daelric, while Kiera plays toss and catch behind her back with the returning dagger. Volkar swings again, but is unable to connect. Daelric, on the other hand, lunges out, and suddenly his target disappears into a fine pink mist flecked with bits of green skin. There is not even a recognizable body left from the powerful attack. He growls at the now deceased goblins shield partner, but only receives a giggling laugh in return from the psychotic little creature.

Intimidate: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

The goblins keep throwing themselves over the bodies stacking up at the front line, but neither one manages to hit this time.

I wasn't planning on making it an Intimidate check, mainly because that requires a Standard Action, which I don't have. But trying to get them to attack me from now on, instead of Volkar who is injured.

Seeing yet another one lash out at Volkar, I growl and slash my axe towards it.
