Ooo the board outage made me stop getting notifications from this thread.

If you wanna flank solo the immediate way I know is the mesmerism false flanker trick. Otherwise, I can look into getting summon spells to give you a buddy.

Oenemaus reporting in! Until the boards allow me to change my portrait, this is pretty much a good starting point; just add in weird tentacles. I used a 25 point buy, and while I took the bow combat style, I do that only to provide myself with another avenue to fight in case closing in melee isn't possible. I went with ranger, and I'll be taking bladed brush in the near future so that my reach weapon doesn't get in the way. I might also look into doing the whole combat patrol, pushback thing.

I would suspect there will be a bit of interesting role-play involved when Volkar, Kiera, and Andrezi meet Oenemaus for the first time. Hopefully we don't mistake him for some sort of new sin-spawn.

DM, how much time before we go tackle Foxglove Manor? If we're going the next day (and it seems likely that we will go sooner rather than later) then I'll have to hold off on magic item crafting. If we're spending a week re-arming and prepping for what sounds like an ominous encounter, then I might squeeze in some item creation.

That is entirely up to you.. but OOC, you have put together the clues correctly

Clues: The key on the ghoul came from the Foxglove manner, and you ascertained that the deaths in Sandpoint were perpetuated by a smelly, juicy undead. In addition, something has been actively turning people into more undead. For example, you have not only Grayst at the sanitorium but also the collection of ghouls in waiting back in the cornfields.. I am sure at this point that your characters can put 2+2 together when they get a moment of down time.

You can take as long as you wish, but at what cost?

I have not heard back from him. Do what you must. If needs be, I could see if I can pick it up as a GM instead, in which case you would just need to look for new players that you like and trust, at least until he returns.

Let me know what you are thinking. If you are seriously going to consider me for option #2, you should look at some of the games I've GMed in society play to see if that format appeals to you for the time being.

So on the plus side, I do know a few people who might be ecstatic at the idea of playing. On the downside, I never really did read through the thread. Aaaand this week is looking... Unpredictable. Maybe by Friday I'll have a good sense as to where you are.

Also, I do not know if DevilDoc has done that, but I will be issuing PFS chronicle sheets at the end of every book(if there is interest in those).

Keep in mind that this is only until he comes back. And that there will be ups and downs. But I'll communicate with you clearly if I'm burning out/ if there are issues that are making posting difficult/ real life shenanigans.

I wouldn't be opposed to a 5th, but don't know if we absolutely need one either. I guess what I'm saying is that I'll defer to the rest of group on that one.

Hello everyone. Upaynao said you were in need of a melee character in this game.

It looks like you are at 5th level. Looks like a 25 point buy 2 traits and 3,000 gold for a fifth level. Did I read the discussion correctly?

Anyone taking teamwork feats or have anything special I need to take into account when I build my character. I want to make sure she fits in well.

Our remaining group is:

* Volkar, dwarf alchemist; he does some support melee, and bombs
* Andrezi, human cleric; as a Varisian roamer he is less combat-focused than most clerics, and mostly does healing and support spells
* Me, Kiera, human wizard (exploiter); I handle blasting, controls, and weird magic stuff. Also I have a ton of skill points so I picked up Disable Device, even though I can't disable magical traps (I have the erase spell in case of explosive runes).

We need someone who can hit hard and take hits hard up front. Any number of ways you can do that, be it ranger, barbarian, slayer, fighter, etc.

Our wealth is definitely higher than 3,000 gp. I have over 6k in storage alone, and I own a boat, a wand, a cloak of resistance and a weapon with an effective total bonus of +2.

CariMac, first of all welcome to the game. Second, here's a link to the original recruitment thread from many moons and now two previous DMs ago.

Stats were generated by 2d6 + 6, re-roll 1's.

10,500 gp sounds right to me for starting wealth.

@Keira - I think the 3,000 gp number was granted wealth to get us all up to appropriate wealth by level in GM DD's post at the top of the page.
