"Oh, don't worry guys. Ysoki are naturally good at this. Handling floofy animals. Or... shoes." She smooths down her own fur, then walks toward it slowly and gets down on four paws to present a less intimidating figure. She speaks calmly. The creature looks curiously at what Chip has to offer, and hops over to you. As it does so, it seems to gradually shift from a shoe to a fluffy little creature covered in red fur, probably its native appearance.
You are then able to gently pick up the odd creature and take it with you to Fitch. Fitch talks gently to the creature and then uses her comm to summon a few specialists in dealing with alien life. They come collect the creature, who seems to be happily playing a game of pretending to be a wig for a hairless creature. Fitch then sends a team of engineers to repair the damage the alien accidentally did to E-deck.
Fitch then congradulates you on a job well done, hands you a credstick as a reward, and hurries back to work. The children's father also gives you a mk 1 ring of resistance as thanks for returning his children safely.

As soon as Guidance receives notice from Fitch that you have all succeeded at your missions, you recieve a summons on your comms to return to the Lorespire Complex. You are quickly escorted again to the room where you met with guidance earlier. This time, guidance chooses to take the holographic form of a wizened lashunta male. "Excellent job, my young Pathfinders. I see a long and interesting career in front of each of you. In the aftermath of the Scoured Stars incident, we need as many skilled agents as possible."
