I'll need to look into the "Plot Hooks" as soon as I can get my book in front of me (brought my tabletop stuff to work today to prep for game tonight) but I imagine that I will push to have some if not all of you guys known to each other considering you had time to "Make a name for yourself" by Level 4.
DundjinnMasta |
Okay. I totally had a moment... when I said just starting funds. I completely blanked on the fact that the characters are level 4 (and not my typical level 1s) I even had this brief moment of "What would lead you to think you would have anything beyond starting funds?!"
Apparently I was distracted when I answered that question and now I will be recanting that statement with a new one. I will look up the funds for Level 4 characters and post later tonight.

Brokr has done well in filling out the information in his profile so it displays under his name. I would like everyone to follow suit as per the Recruitment instructions that I can copy over here if need be.
It appears we are still waiting on Alaric Morguhn & Kristophe Kristophson which I realize is because I never posted the link to here which I have remedied.
@Rolen
Your character says Rogue Assassin/3... is he accurately level 4 or do you need to bring him up another level?

Hey guys...sorry for the delay.
Started a new job this week (9-5, but 1 hour commute each way), and been a little busy beside. Things are calming down now, so I should be more frequent.
Anyway, I still need to re-type Alaric's background (curse you Paizo boards for losing all my ramblings!) and enter in his ideals, flaws, etc.
Happy to be here, and looking forward to gaming!

He is actually 4...just did not change it in the tag line. I will do so when I update per Brokr's.
Please copy over the instructions.

3 - Put your vital stats, expended charges and active conditions in your forum tag line. It really helps for those situations when I may need to make a roll for the whole party (eg. everyone makes a reflex save) and I don’t have to click on everyone’s profile.
When you edit the profile for your alias, anything that appears these fields will appear on your tagline in posts on a PbP thread (in this order):
1. Gender
2. Race
3. Classes/Levels
All you need to do is put your vital stats in these three fields and you are good to go. Formatting goes a long way. Here is some code from GM’s Damo’s page (with extra spaces before the the "ooc" that you will have to remove).
Gender: [ ooc]Male[/ooc]
Race: [ ooc]NG Half-Orc[/ooc]
Classes / levels: [ ooc]Fighter 1[/ooc] | HP: 12/12 | [ ooc]AC: 16 (11 Tch, 15 Fl)[/ooc] | CMD: 16 | [ ooc]F: 4, R: 1, W: 3[/ooc] | Init: +1 | [ ooc]Perc: +7, SM: +2[/ooc] | Active conditions: None | [ ooc]Wand (CLW) charges: 12/50[/ooc]
**Note how he used "ooc" tags to alternate the color of each snippet of info to make it more readable.If you run out of room in one field then just put part of the information into a preceding field.

Okay, I set up my tagline with the important stats, goes it look okay?
Going to go look at the gameplay thread.
Edit: Okay, I read my setup from the DundjinnMasta, so I guess we just wait for the opening post to set things in motion? I don't see anything I can really do to interact with the other PCs yet.
I'll check back tomorrow, night all.

You mentioned theatre of the mind; sounds great to me. If there should ever be any kind of thing that requires player manipulation, please put it in Google Slides instead of Google Drawings--the former is editable from mobile devices while the latter is not.
Hi-ho!

Alistair, do you want to RP our introduction or begin en media res, already on the road?

My apologies if I didn't make it clear, but the post that I made out of spoilers at 9:49 pm.
The afternoon sun beats down on you; the air is hot and still. The sparsely settled lands of Elsir Vale along the Dawn Way to the west of Brindol are starting to grow monotonous, with seemingly endless line of dusty flyspecks of towns. The town of Drellin's Ferry lies miles ahead of you; named after the ferry that carries travelers across the river. It was the destination of choice for the groups of travelers that found themselves sharing the road.
In additional to the strangers and not-so-strangers (PCs) is a trio of entertainers. A stunning and alluring sorceress, Miha Serani. The halfling confidant and gamesman, Kellin Shadowbanks. Lastly the intimidating but seemingly slow-witted dragonborn, "Dracon".
Share the road. Introductions... re-introductions since some of you started out from the same places.
The above is the opening post. You are welcome to spoiler RP if you had a partner in the plot hooks for the brief time before you find yourself on the road with everyone, but try to keep both going at the same time if possible.
If you have any questions, let me know.
@Brokr
I will keep that in mind for you.

I was going to pass on the dual wielder feat until level 12, or maybe never take it, deeming the +2 Strength to be more valuable. But the Quick Draw bit...

@Alaric
That was simply to inform everyone else about the time frame of moving things forward. I was aware that you were already on vacation and may not be around to post. No worries.
I know. Thanks for NPCing him for me. Busy days here in Disney/Universal for 2 weeks (only way to have relaxed stay IMHO).
Anyway thanks for being patient with me guys. One more week of vacay!!
