Lets out a grunt as he's hit by the drow, still laughing afterwards as he takes another swing at him.
Attack Roll: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11
It seems that his rage is blinding him, causing him to make reckless swings.
Rage gives me resistance on bludgeoning, slashing, and piercing damage so if it's any of those, I'll take half damage.

Very happy, thank you.

I like him. Says Axthres, paying attention to Kingsley. do you think he could be a good demon slayer?
Yes Axthres, but please focus of the drow, he is trying to murder everyone who could help us.
Bryn y Rhosynmelyn
As the dust settles in the guard shack, Bryn addresses the others. That noise is the demon, he must be upstairs. He looked injured but a fiend his size will still be difficult to put down in our current state. There is armor, weapons, climbing gear, and most important that fool bard up there. The webbing below is the home to giant spiders so we cannot afford to not plunder any goods. I will go to aid Vothe, but I will not fault you for withdrawing, the situation is dire.
Bryn is much less noble in his thoughts, That creature is nothing like I've seen before, confronting it head on is suicide!
Lenthus Dilwam
"Escaping alive is our number 1 priority right now. I suggest that we save Vothe, and get equipment while we are there. We will not survive the underdark unprepared."

We gotta to play it smart - there is no shame in a tactical retreat - Maybe we could get people moving - but I agree with you, we gotta get our man out and get away. I'm with you at least until we get that entertainer back.
I can't believe we didn't lose anyone... yet
Ril Trausch
Ront is all in favour of getting out of there. He starts leading the way to the webs and hopefully, freedom.
Buppido says This was fated to be! Our victory was foreordained, as is our safe escape... which means that we must be away. He follows Ront.
Eldeth Feldrun, Dwarven and ever practical, checks the drow corpses for any other weapons and equipment (daggers, hand crossbows, water or food) - he definetely strips the bodys of any cloaks they may wear - it can be cold in the Underdark and they are not dressed for it.
Vothe Rowan
Vothe will pick up an armor stand with some light armor on it and "attack" the drow with it (basically throwing it so that it goes sailing out the window to the webs below.
"What kind of idiot chooses to look like a vulture anyway. You're basically one step above a crap demon!" says Vothe as he throws the stand of armor.
Bryn y Rhosynmelyn
Bryn drops his shortswords and scrambles up the ladder once more while calling behind him, If you are injured don't bother following. I will be grabbing whatever I can and withdrawing. Do not leap into the webs without first arming yourself.
Once up the ladder, Bryn ignores the fiend and focuses on grabbing what he can. He throws some armor over his shoulder and grabs as many weapons as he can carry, One of you grab some of the climbing gear, it's time to go!
I'm assuming this is in the next round of actions. I want to grab a chain shirt, two shortswords, and a hand crossbow and bolts. I'm not equipping them, just tossing the armor over my shoulder along with the belts with the swords and then grabbing the crossbow and as many bolts I can hold.
Ril Trausch
I thought we were going for Vothe?, Ril says following Bryn.
Where is Vothe and the Demon compared to where Bryn and Vothe are? Because I am NOT going to bother with trying to grab stuff when there is a gods damned Vrock in the room - it will tear us up
Bryn y Rhosynmelyn
Bryn snaps at Ril as his climbs into the armory, Ril, Vothe is still standing! He has the opportunity to withdraw, but I can't force him to stop attacking this monster. Vothe! Stop wasting time! Get out of here! The drow are dead; the escape route is clear! Bryn keeps his focus on the future I will risk my neck today to live through tomorrow. Hopefully the dead bodies distract the creature and pursuing us is no longer worth it.
Metagame wise, I know fighting this thing head on is impossible. Each one of its attacks will kill us with average damage, and it still has it's AoE ability that will kill us all very quickly if we stay close. On top of that, it has advantage on saving throws and only magical weapons can hurt it effectively.

See this is where I am at a loss because if there are no actions taken on the first round then it flies away. Vothe technically attacked it with a spell though it made the save and nothing happened except for insults being flung.
The Vrock not wanting to waste time and get back to the fight flies from Vothe as quickly as he crashed.
Bryn y Rhosynmelyn
Bryn sees the Vrock leave and immediately drops what he held and start donning a chain shirt and adjusting it to fit while calling down to the floor below. The beast flew off, anyone who still hears this come help carry this equipment out!
Once donned, Bryn will strap 2 shortswords and 4 daggers around his waist. He will take two bags of caltrops and a bag of iron spikes and tie them to his waist as well. He will pick up a shield, and grab two coils of rope he puts his arm through and holds on his shoulder. Finally he picks up a hammer before looking out the window to the drop down into the webbing.
I'm am fine with it flying away! That would have been disastrous. I'm just taking a few minutes to load up so anyone that is still around and not just jumping into the webbing needing healing or something let me know.
Vothe Rowan
Must not shout "You better run!"
Once the beast leaves, Vothe will start tossing gear down towards the webs, mainly focusing on survival gear (rope, clothing/armor, that sort of thing).
Lenthus Dilwam
Lenthus grabs a pair of daggers and dons a suit of studded leather.
"Hmmm. This is almost as good as my old stuff"
Updating character sheet and taglines.
Atendarius Kraye
Slightly disappointed that he didn't get a chance to try his magics against the beast Aten grabs a bag of caltrops, a pair of daggers and a length of silken rope. By then he is calming from his magical high and nods to his fellows "That went surprisingly well didn't it?" With that said he starts searching the tower for anything else of use.
Are there any regular sets of clothing or robes or something in the tower? Bags or backpacks? Food or drink?

• 1 bags of iron spikes (10 spikes per bag)
unaccounted for (Vothe's randomly thrown gear)
It was not mentioned, so no there is no clothing or robes, no bags or backpacks and no food or drink. There is the water fall you have been dumping your fecal matter into for the past tenday or so.
Vothe Rowan
Vothe will suit up in one of the suits of studded leather, grab a pair of hand crossbows and 2 cases of bolts, then go and see if there's a drow cloak left.
I only threw one suit of light armor plus stand out the window, since my next round action was going to be to jump into the webs.
Ril Trausch
Ril dons a suit of leather armour and keeps the sword he picked up in the lost fight. He also takes 2 hand crossbows and 2 cases of bolts and a dagger. He uses his scavenged 5 ft of rope as a crude belt. Which he stuffs these goods into.
We should be able to drink from the waterfall itself without contamination - the pool below or that it flows into should be a nasty mess of fecal matter, correct?
Ril then goes back to the cells and gathers up the bowls that the group were using to eat/drink from and stacks them into a crude pile and carries them out - they'll need something to carry water in if they can find any.
Vothe Rowan
"Not to be harsh, but we should probably get a move on. Either the drow or demons will be coming this way shortly, and I'd like to be gone before they get here." Vothe pauses for a moment, then adds "Is anyone here nature/scouting oriented, or have experience navigating the underdark? I can tell you what direction we're heading, but I have never been in the underdark before."
Ril Trausch
My eyes are close to useless in this murk but I used to be a scout and I have a broad idea on how we can live of the land, such as it is, down here.
If you have hands free I can tear up some of the drow clothing to act as strips of cloth for a makeshift torch.
Bryn y Rhosynmelyn
I know these tunnels, and have spent days at a time living off the fauna. I can probably find enough to feed some of us, but the group is too large to rely on me alone. However, I am not a scout; I am a knight. Bryn blinks at the makeshift torch I do have better eyes then some of you it seems.
The real question is if we want to leap into the webs below where the spider's are, or use this climbing gear to try and take a more controlled path? I vote for taking the leap of faith for expediency sake. Bryn then moves himself into position where he coudl leap into the webs below Either way, we must decide quickly.
Ril Trausch
Take these bowls then, or get someone to carry them - we'll need them to carry water.
Ril goes to work stripping the drow of clothing to burn for torches... and doesn't neglect trying to score himself some clothing. Pants and a tunic - both cut for drow but his frame is small and lithe and able to fit them - if he can get them off in time.
Vothe Rowan
"We should probably all drink our fill on water too, before we set out. We may not get a chance to drink in a while."
Barring anyone suggesting otherwise, Vothe will do just that, then finally take the jump into the webs below.
Atendarius Kraye
"It's going to be rough down there. I am familiar with the most oft used paths in the underdark, so if we find our way to somewhere more traveled I will hopefully recognize where we are. My only worry at jumping into the webs is that the webs themselves may be dangerous in some way, but it's a risk I am willing to take." Aten then joins Vothe in partaking of the water.

You are correct Ril, the waterfall is safe. I will say the pool looks more or less safe but there might be a chance that the evil DM might assign a 10% chance of contamination of E. Coli or something. Almost like the Oregon Trail of the Underdark.
At Vothe question of familiarity with the Underdark, almost in unison the group of NPC's say We do. Then you get a barrage of directions to Sloopidoop, Dark Lake, Neverlight Grove, Guantlgrym amongst many others.
Ril takes the modest approach and dresses in dead men's clothing.
If there is nothing else you guys want the NPCs will grab the remaining gear.

Bryn jumps down and is caught in the spider webs, and is otherwise to his dismay trapped. You will need to make strength checks to get out of the webs.
This will happen to everyone who rolls a 1.
If the situation couldn't get worse. It seems that all the attention on the webs has attracted a Giant Spider, making his way straight for the party.
You may jump down and take a full round of actions.
