Kingsley was born the humble son of a farmer, but he always dreamed of becoming a cobbler. His father was a exemplar of farming and the lifestyle that came with it, believing that farming brought you closer to the world and land than anything else. Kingsley's dreams were ridiculed by everyone in his family except his mother. When he came into adulthood he made it plain to his father that he would persue his dream, his father flew into a rage and disowned him immediately. After a scrap with his brothers left all of them bruised and his brothers with hurting pride, Kingsley left his village behind. Kingsley ran into Bruenor Battlehammer's company shortly after and found himself a job repairing their marching boots and spent his time training with the dwarves. He joined in the battle for Gauntlgrym where his unrefined, raging style served him well and gained him acclaim as a warrior amongst the dwarves.
