D'lack:
I have updated the map, seems unlikely you could get all 3 with a burning hands, but both of them or the fighter separately

Pyra calls out a smite on the orc warlord, slashing him thrice in the process. While his hide is tough, he appears to take most of it as blood splatters the ground.

The orc warlord takes the searing flame directly to the chest. He drops his falchon as he staggers back, and grasps his armor, which he tears apart, revealing row upon row of hideously carved runes, which begin to glow a worrisome shade of orange.

"I AM KUZLAK, AND THESE ARE MY SINS! WITNESS ME!!! He begins to lists his many sins amidst roars of enthusiasm from the other orcs. Finally, the rune's energy breaks free, pulping the orc's body to nothingness, and taking it's toll on everyone around it.

AC24

Rebels Map

Pyra resists much of the rune blast and scoffs at the orc's murderous command. D'lack strangely finds the Paladin's attitude offensive and prepares to attack.

Pyra is less successful in thwarting off the mind control of the tentacled beast within the pit of worms and nods in submission to its will.

Beorin sees the evil influences affecting his allies and calls for divine barriers to hedge the mental chaos...but will it reach them and be affective?

Ok, the next part will be critical...Beorin. Have you moved your full hasted move and in position on the map when casting circle? .

I am having trouble determining who is who on the map, but Taerell will try to get both mages with the glitterdust if possible, otherwise he will choose the closest to any ally.

Taerel takes advantage of the visibility of the mages, and casts glitterdust (Will DC 16 to negate).

The mages/mystics are in the rear towards the black 'gate' of their ritual. Outlined in maroon and purple.
Both have duplicated images of themselves (so you see 4 total). You are able to get both into the glitterdust.

Taerel calls forth a cloud of glittering particles to envelope the mystics.

2d20 ⇒ (17, 20) = 37 both pairs of mystics are covered in the glowing motes. However, they are successful in closing their eyes during the blast and appear to be watching your next move.

Pyra:
Within your mind you are given the friendly command "Prevent your allies from approaching the mystics. It would be dangerous for them". We need to see what Beorin's actions are, as his spell may allow a reroll on the save

D'lack seems to ignore the orc mystics for the time being.

There is probably some kind of mechanic for two people trying to control the same mind, but I am not going to worry about it. Suggestion is much more powerful/lengthy spell than the one D'lack had on him

Then she takes a step to the side, her scimitar in hand, to block D'lack's path.

for GM:
The order was to not let my allies approach, for their good. I read this as meaning that since D'lack does not approach, Pyra only blocks him, and does not attack him, even if his missiles were aggressive. re. AC - I am sorry if I am holding things up, not my intent (just that it seemed like it could change things if grappled or not) - I counted the +2 deflection bonus to AC vs. evil creatures from Prot' from Evil granted by Beorin's circle (since Pyra has a +1 ring that means a +1 bump), and then the +1 dodge from Haste. I thought that if the new save was allowed it meant it was an Evil creature. Which would then mean the "normal" 27 + the extra 1 in deflection + 1 dodge for 29 total. If I am wrong and no Prot' from Evil then grappled she is and I am sorry for delay

Magic Circle against Evil: As protection spells, but 10-ft. radius and 10 min./level.:

This spell wards a creature from attacks by evil creatures, from mental control, and from summoned creatures. It creates a magical barrier around the subject at a distance of 1 foot. The barrier moves with the subject and has three major effects.

First, the subject gains a +2 deflection bonus to AC and a +2 resistance bonus on saves. Both these bonuses apply against attacks made or effects created by evil creatures.

Second, the subject immediately receives another saving throw (if one was allowed to begin with) against any spells or effects that possess or exercise mental control over the creature (including enchantment [charm] effects and enchantment [compulsion] effects, such as charm person, command, and dominate person. This saving throw is made with a +2 morale bonus, using the same DC as the original effect. If successful, such effects are suppressed for the duration of this spell. The effects resume when the duration of this spell expires. While under the effects of this spell, the target is immune to any new attempts to possess or exercise mental control over the target. This spell does not expel a controlling life force (such as a ghost or spellcaster using magic jar), but it does prevent them from controlling the target. This second effect only functions against spells and effects created by evil creatures or objects, subject to GM discretion.

Third, the spell prevents bodily contact by evil summoned creatures. This causes the natural weapon attacks of such creatures to fail and the creatures to recoil if such attacks require touching the warded creature. Summoned creatures that are not evil are immune to this effect. The protection against contact by summoned creatures ends if the warded creature makes an attack against or tries to force the barrier against the blocked creature. Spell resistance can allow a creature to overcome this protection and touch the warded creature.

That works. So her HP will need to be adjusted. I am assuming AC and HP are current for status lines.

The squid creature loses its grasp on the paladin as it barely misses due to the holy protection.

@D'lack...only need 1 roll each round for worms, and yes is evil, so the circle would apply...as long as you stay within it.

Pyra steps up to the creature, calling the smiting power of the Dawnflower upon the vast evil within it.

Her first slash nearly flies into the vat of worms, as the creature dodges it. However her second slash lands a solid blow, including an extra burst of light as the evil outsider shrieks in pain.

Beorin's mighty swing seems to be stopped by the protective ward around the creature as golden light sparks with purple sickness. However the speed and song of the bard help push through.

Although the hammer does not hurt it nearly as much as the dwarf would have expected.

D'lack's missiles shatters the orc mystic's sleeping body. The last missile was all that was needed to topple the squid body of "He-who-formerly-peeled-flesh".

NOOOOOO - YOU ...YOU....RUINED ME!!!!

As a blast of purple sickly light winks out, leaving both lifeless bodies.

Over the silence comes a battle cry. "The orcs are falling back! THE ORCS ARE FALLING BACK! HELLKNIGHTS! REGROU..." shouts Signifier Karva as a rumble shakes the ground you all stand on. The ritual has been stopped and Beorin released.

But, as Lem and Taerel quickly realize, a lot of energy has been accumulated here. A tremendous amount. And now that it cannot be released to open a path to the Abyss... "Uh-oh", comments Signifier Rulla, her voice easy to pick out even under the mask. And then all hell breaks loose. The ground shakes uncontrollably, collapsing the caverns the orcs retreated to, burying many beneath the rubble. The worms in the pit are crushed mercilessly by rocks coming together, as if nature took the opportunity to reassert itself and wipe the slate of anything tainted by the Abyss.

By the time it is over, Pathfinders and Hellknights alike are forced to pick themselves up. The damage to the area is staggering, and it does not seem confined to the pit. The entire region might be affected.

"Is everyone OK" shouts out Sigifier Karva. "Sound off! Agent Beorin? Agent Pyra?"

Signifier Rulla, seeing D'lack suffering from the worm infestation, will offer a cure. Cure Moderate: 2d8 + 8 ⇒ (7, 4) + 8 = 19

Unfortunately, I cannot stop the spell, but this might restore some of the damage until it ends in half a minute (6 rnds).

Within one of the tentacles you find a wand. The three orcs have gear and the two mystics have the strange runes, although none glowing now.

mystic gear, identified by Karva's team:

scroll of sound burst, scroll of summon monster II; Other Gear breastplate, battleaxe, javelins (4), cloak of resistance +1

Rebels Map

Since it is two days back, I am assuming the Signifiers or Beorin can prep Lesser restoration(s) to heal D'lack ability damage. Since nobody died or had anything worse, I do not anticipate any out of game healing/costs will be needed.
