PbP PFS Gameday VI CORE: 7-25 Orders from the Gate [5-9] (Inactive)

This will be the discussion thread.

If you're confused on what's a CORE character,
you can read the announcement here and the CORE here.

As a couple reminders once we are underway:

1) Please keep HP and AC status updated in your profile tag
2) I will roll group init and track actions in order. If you want to post ahead, feel free. I may move you or allow you to change your action if someone else goes before you and alters the playing field (blocks a charge lane, is injured, creates a pit, drops your target etc)
3) Miss is always low (20 or 50) on [1d100] if miss chance applies
4) Avoid posting dice rolls without some narrative or dialog.
5) If you cannot post daily (due to travel/holiday etc) let me know so we can bot you. I will likely not post on Christmas or New Years, so I will not expect others to. Enjoy time with your families instead!
6) Finally, if you want to try something a little off base...ask me. Our goal is to have fun. Sometimes the odd actions are the most memorable. :-)

Ok, all 5 have checked into gameplay so we are ready to go on the 25th.

Map has been updated, we are on slide#2. Woman speaking is outlined in red on the map (right side of map).

Let me know if anyone has problems seeing map or images.

I can see the map just fine (the one our icons is on right now seems a little small to me, but I can still see the squares and recognize the images).

You fortunately avoided a landslide prior to the battle.

Is the map working ok for folks? Everyone able to see it and make out their tokens? I know it is small with the scale. You should be able to zoom into the area around the party.

re. Sheathe vs. Draw: thanks, I had never noticed that. Nor that "sheathing" provokes vs. drawing not provoking.

So Pyra will drop her bow where she turned the corner, to easily find it again (unless one of those fleeing orcs filches it, she thinks!).

I had not noticed either until you asked. I usually just dropped bow or whatever, so it never came up on a double move before.

Map has been updated. We should be good to finish by 10/6 if we post daily. I will delay anyone after 24hrs (or designate bot actions) if you will be away.

BTW - I will be on business travel 10/1-10/6 so I will have to post from hotel/road for the final wrap up.

Sorry Taerel, forgot about the distance and did not calculate... but wanted to get the attacks focused on me.

I will admit I really enjoyed playing this as a player, which is one reason I chose to run it. It was only after reading it that I realized much of the NPC interaction was added by GM Upayno - if you ever get a chance to play at his/her table - do so. I borrowed heavily from the experience.

I will be flying out on Thursday, Oct' 5 (tomorrow) and then back on Monday, Oct' 9, and will be out in the Romanian countryside in between those dates.
I've arranged to have Internet access, so I should be able to post a couple times a day.
But I am giving this warning, so, in case I go dark, it'll be because something went wrong, so just bot me for those days if it happens.

That reminds me...are any of you signed up for game day part 2 with these characters? With two days left - we may finish but wrap up and chronicles may take me a bit...I am supposed to fly out Sunday for the week.

I am not using Taerel, so no hurries here.

I'm fine. I tend to play different chars in this case since I happen to be game starved. :P

Okay, I will post a Crunch thing in spoiler at the end of Pyra's post to show her AC etc. (just a bit complex w. Haste, Inspire, Pow' Att', and if Smite works and vs. which foe etc. - because the CHA bonus of +4 adds another +2 deflection to AC etc. vs. the Foe that is being Smite-d, or Smitten...!).

Otherwise, HP-wise:
Pyra was at -23
Then took -4 Neg' Energy but healed 6 = -23-4+6 = 21
So she is at 60/81 by my calculation now (changed that in my info' under name)

Ok, I am trying to get all the sheets and session reported today or noon tomorrow before my flight. I will not have access to them on the road.

I have 4 of the 5 scanned/ready. I did not add dayjob rolls, but you can write-in on your own or if I have your rolls today, I can update.

Lem, I am still not sure of the name of the PC you want applied. I do not want to submit the wrong one and mess up CORE status on someone. Since the Gameday people submit the session, I cannot look up the name.

Also, what I do is I fill out my own session report to validate core, etc. Just don't submit/save it - but typing in the numbers usually pulls their data from the server... might work for you.
