Thanks Revvy. We seem to be gaining some traction now, so hopefully there won't be an issue.

That being said, should things not work out as hoped and a delay is not a possibility, I am happy to roll with a pregen or another pc.

The GM of the game I'm playing thinks we'll be done by october 6th which he says is the new start date of part 2 for the gameday, if that's okay with you, GM?

The GM of my current game has said we are in the midst of the second last encounter. We should hopefully be done in the next several days, but if everyone is ready to roll prior to that, I will work something out so that I do not delay the start.

Haha, thank ya kindly.

I'll leave it up to a party vote. It's a Tier 3 ship. If we play Subtier 1-2 it will be harder to make the DCs, and if we play Subtier 3-4 it might be outclassed by the enemy ships.

Since multiple people are better off with a delayed start we'll just start a week later. The 6th is a Saturday..so I'm assuming that the 8th will be a better day for everyone to be ready to start.

I'll put up an introductory post up before that and everyone who's ready before then can just introduce themselves in game.

I really really hate to do this...but I think I might have to back out of the game :( I just had a huge project drop in my lap and with most of my 1st session pbps still going on I'd only be screwing everyone here over if I stayed and slowed your game down :( I'm really sorry!

Still on the second last encounter in my other game so will definitely be playing a pregen for this one. As discussed, it will be a level 4 pregen so I can apply the credit to this pc later. I was looking at taking more of a support role with Navasi.

I'm happy either way - to roll with the 4 of us or to take on some extras - the more the merrier!

Which would make the tier: 11/5 = 2,2 less then 2,5 so you'll be playing tier 1-2

@Angrid; I haven't had time to look into your question in detail..but my gut says your reactions would be slower while carrying a lot of weight (not saying it's what the rules say..just telling you what my initial feeling is)

Chetna's Ship Skills:
+8 Piloting

+5 Engineering

Itch is +8 piloting and not much else. +3 for gunnery

Navasi ; Happy to fill any unwanted role, given this is a pregen - science officer, captain, even back up gunner.

Angrid I'm assuming will want engineering but

So it's a toss up as whom you'd want to have as a pilot/gunner Chetna or Itch..I'm assuming Chetna will have 2 ranks of piloting as opposed to Itch's one rank which would make your defenses 1 higher.

I just moved my character information from PCGen to HeroLab because some of the numbers seemed off in PCGen. I was right about that. Reposting correct stats.

I was kind of thinking Captain would be the most likely, but didn't want to take anyone else's gig.

For the curious, Navasi's starship applicable skills are:

Bluff +9
Computers +9 (4 ranks)
Diplomacy +9
Piloting +9 (4 ranks)

She also has Expertise for Bluff and Sense Motive.

If it comes to Intimidate, I think she's the highest, so I'll actually roll for that.

@Vchk; about your starship boon..I think it only applies when you fire the weapons yourself.

It applies to all weapons on the ship but it says when you roll damage So if you would fire 2 of them (at a -4 to hit) you could re-roll any 1's ..but I don't think it applies to anyone else firing one of the guns
