Erstwhile pegasi, where are they (height and space)?
"Kelpies you we must resist their siren's allure! They are beasts of water. Fire will do little to them."
Jorah |
"Desna, watch over us and guide us to victory over these cursed creatures!" Jorah starts a prayer in his native celestial tongue, and a wave of holy energy washes over the party.
Prayer, +1 luck to attack, damage, saves and skill checks, -1 for enemies

Dunia advances, calling on the spirits to wrap a shield around her.

They are currently on the ground, and take up a 10' x 10' space.
Jorah and Dunia cast spells!

Additionally, the lash says it's a full round action to manifest, and Dunia's first action was casting shield. Now if it's one of those things that she always "has on" (not unlike ("I always Power Attack unless I say otherwise" etc.), you should let your GM know that. No harm done, really, since it's not a rounds/day effect. It's just one of those things that players know but GMs won't assume (well, I won't assume, anyway).

Shonne |
Wordlessly Shonne drops her bow snatches her spear from her back and races forward. Weaving through her companions at ludicrous speed she launches off the beach and into the air above the kelpie....
Super leap! (running start, haste speed, prayer): 1d20 + 14 + 4 + 12 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 14 + 4 + 12 + 1 = 49

damage (2-handed, arcane strike, prayer): 1d8 + 5 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 5 + 2 + 1 = 10 + fire damage: 1d6 ⇒ 3
Shonne might get a higher ground +1 bonus to attack too but I'm not worried about it. ;) If she can she dives down from above into the kelpie's square (she and the kelpie probably take 3d6 damage each - it for being hit with a medium-sized falling object and her just because fair is fair, right? This probably shoves the kelpie directly down one square deeper into the water or shoves Shonne off to one side as technically it's not a bullrush, just gravity and water). If she can't fall into the kelpie's square she lands in the water southeast of him.
Haste When making a full attack action, a hasted creature may make one extra attack with one natural or manufactured weapon. The attack is made using the creature’s full base attack bonus, plus any modifiers appropriate to the situation. A hasted creature gains a +1 bonus on attack rolls and a +1 dodge bonus to AC and Reflex saves. 5/7 rds.
I think prayer bestows a luck bonus while haste is an unlabeled bonus so they should stack on attack.

Yes, prayer and haste will stack.
And no, Shonne didn't break the GM game ;-) — your GM was conventioning this weekend and expected he might, but ultimately did not, have time to update this. Your GM regrets the unanticipated radio silence.
Crowe and Jorah barely have time to blink as the blur of Chonne rushes past, spectacularly leaping into the air like an elven grasshopper, her spear ablaze with flame as she drives it into the aquatic fey! The flames have no effect, but the spear and impact certainly do!
adding 2d6 falling damage because why the eff not?: 2d6 ⇒ (5, 5) = 10
Shonne will take that falling dmg as well.
As Shonne lands in the water adjacent to the kelpie, a trio of arrows sails in! The first sails harmlessly overhead, but the second two land squarely in the kelpie, the last in its head! It sinks beneath the water!

Shonne takes 10 for 19 with the +1 from prayer.
Shonne surfaces and looks around. "Did I hit it?" She says in her strange Kyonin accent.
She sees Boomer go under. Shonne swims over to help the leopard stay afloat in the rough waters.
She takes one full-round to get to him and then takes 10 repeatedly to move action stay afloat and unmoving in the water and a standard action swim check to aid Boomer starting on his second swim check. If someone could throw us a rope, please? ;)
pregen Crowe |
Crowe twirls a rope around his head lasso-style and tosses it to Shonne in the water. "That was mighty impressive, my dear," he gushes when she climbs out.

Riddywhipple reappears as the foes fall, his draconic eyes damp. Friend Cutterbup! he cries, flitting over at the foot of the Blue zombie pegasus, his wings twitching as the tears continue to fall. What Marigana do to friend Cutterbup! He then flaps over to White, with more tears. And friend Lorfesant! You too! And Tetolish like you but fly away.
The faerie dragon is inconsolable for several minutes. Riddywhipple sorry for what Marigana do. Riddywhipple and Ignizi friends make her pay...
Ragnar finds the body the pegasi had been eating. Friend Dougal! Riddywhipple says with anguish. The hunter's head is caved in from a blow of a horse (or perhaps pegasus) hoof.
As the group heads away from the lake, a set of erratic hoofprints leading on ahead is spotted and the party quickly locates a smaller set of prints in some of the muddier areas.
Riddywipple finally draws himself away from the corpses of Cutterbup and Lorfesant. Friend Pillavark missing. Always here with Cutterbup and Lorfesant and Tetolish. Maybe Marigana take other Ignizi friend and Pillavark someplace? Could have Ignizi friend ride Pillavark . Hope not end up like Cutterbup and Lorfesant and Tetolish...
A few miles away from the harrowing encounter at the lake, the party finds the corpse of another undead pegasus before crossing a stream, causing tears to well in Riddywhipple's eyes again. Oh, Pillavark! Not you too! He sobs into Jorah's shoulder.
Ragnar finds more tracks on the other side of the stream, suggesting that whomever was with the zombie pegasus carried on north from there.
Ragnar Northman |
"Thank you so much for your help, Shonne and Crowe! A friend of mine once lost her companion in a battle. She never recovered from that loss." Ragnar says while petting Boomer.
Later, he points out the tracks on the other side of the stream. "Should we follow the tracks over there? They lead to the north."

The tracks go on, winding along the stream deeper into the Sanos and leading to a rocky outcropping. At the base of the outcropping is a patch of dense shrubbery, behind which is a narrow hole with recent tracks of both animals and humanoids leading to and from it.
Boomer and Riddywhipple enter with ease, but the rest of you need to wriggle your way into the hole to find the mouth of a gloomy cave filled with the horrific stench of rotting meat, its air thick with flies. The way is lit by torches and littered with the corpses of all kinds of forest animals.
Visitors! exclaims a voice from the darkness beyond. You see no source for the voice, however. As it speaks, some of the corpses before the party suddenly lurch to life and begin to advance! They bear blood-red caps on their heads but appear to be skeletons in other respects.
