Hi!
I have a game session Thursday. Most probably I can play Vailis before he gets locked in the PbP Gameday.
Assigning that Chronicle will level me up to level 2.
Is it that ok with you?
If there are problems I will go there with a pregen or another character.

No objections from me.

I finished leveling up, character sheet updated.

Energy attacks: Energy attacks deal half damage to most objects. Divide the damage by 2 before applying the object's hardness. Some energy types might be particularly effective against certain objects, subject to GM discretion. For example, fire might do full damage against parchment, cloth, and other objects that burn easily. Sonic might do full damage against glass and crystal objects.

As for an "animated object" I treat hardness as a DR or resistance against most energy types. If the creature has a weakness to a specific energy type, that energy type would ignore the creature's hardness.

This is a general summery of my interpretation of the rules on Hardness for creatures. If there has been an official ruling I would love to read it but as far as I'm aware it's been left to GM discretion.

Just to give a heads up, I will likely be unable to post at all tomorrow through Sunday. My last day at my present job is tomorrow, so I will likely be busy finishing up work-related stuff, and then I'm out of town at a convention until Sunday night.

Feel free to NPC me over the weekend as needed, GM.

How many of you are still around?

If there is enough interest I might try to find a solution to complete this scenario and stop blocking our characters on here.

We might hope to see this moving again after Christmas, but based on previous experiences and on the absolute lack of news I think that chance might be quite small.

A little roll call: how many of you are still here?

I've noted in the pbp game day thread that I'm willing to finish this. Since two other gms expressed interest (and I don't want to scoop them), I'll give them the chance to post and take over before I do. In the meantime, it would be very useful to know who of you are still actively monitoring this tread. Can you please respond with a 'still here', and maybe a brief description of your character, and your character's role in the adventure so far.

I have an intercontinental flight ahead of me, so I'll probably be able to post only ~24 hrs from now, which should give enough time to James/Deussu to step in if they want to.

Vailis is a summoner, so far he has been supporting the party with buffs and making his eidolon to tank. He has also been pushing movement opening doors and moving around even if he is very bad scout.

As far as I know, Marin Odessa and Van have been the only two other active players here. There has been weeks since last other player posted or even the GM.

Hey Kludde! I PM'd Justin a couple of days ago with essentially the same offer as you. I ran this scenario by PbP a short while ago so it should be pretty easy for me to finish it out.

Per Vailis, it looks like running a pre-gen 4th player might be warranted; if so, let me know who you want me to run.

For some reason, my campaign page stopped showing new posts here so I haven't been receiving updates, otherwise I would have posted earlier. GMTrex and I have been talking for a couple of days via PM's, although I was waiting to bring him in until I heard back from the first GM to express interest. Since I haven't heard back from him, I asked Trex to take over.

I don't have a problem bringing a pregen in if necessary, although with it being a weekend around a major holiday, we may want to wait until Monday to allow the other players to notice the thread is active once again.

I am normally getting updates in the Online Campaigns subforum in focus mode.

If there has been some kind of problem with the Campaign page it might be worth to PM the other players.

As for pregen, I vote for Valeros.

Hey Kludde, have you run/played Silver Mount Collection yet? There's another stalled game (I was poking around to see if the old GM was active anywhere else) also run by Striker with players wondering about the absence. Would you be interested in taking over that one?

I sent a PM to all the other players to let them know the scenario thread is active again.

Awesome, thanks Van! I can wait until tomorrow to post more (though feel free to interact with Meleren and Shechera in the meantime) and we can proceed relatively slowly for a couple of days to see if anyone else shows up.

Thanks, normally I wouldn't ask to move at a slower pace, but some of the players might still be inactive due to the weekend/holidays.

As for the thread sticking around, you can just hide it in the Play-by-Post forums and it'll disappear off your campaign page. It'll go inactive itself eventually if no one posts here for a few months.

Also, I want to echo Vailis and give you my many, many thanks for saving this game from entropy GM Trex.

Ack, sorry. January is insane for me, and I've had very little time to check the boards. But I'm glad everything was able to finish. Sorry again.
