Alright its been brought to my attention that initiative has been going slowly; question, from now on would you like me to roll initiative for you all?

Female Half-Elf (Taldan) Magus (Bladebound) 1

That would be nice, certainly.

Cleric 1 / Wizard 1 | HP 18/18 | AC 15(13) | T 11 | FF 14(12) | CMD 10 | Fort +3 | Ref +1 | Will +8 | Init +1 | Perc +4 | SM +8 | BoL 6/7 | AF 7/7 | Channel 2/3 | LF 7/7

Yes please!

HP: 39 AC/Touch/Flat 17/10/17 | Fort/Ref/Will +10/+4/+11 | Init +0 | CMB +5; CMD 15
Skills:
Climb +2, Diplomacy +8, Perception +3, Ride +4, Sense Motive +7, Spellcraft +5, Survival +7, Swim +2

Yeah i think it is a simple way to speed that part up.

Male Human (Cheliaxian) Ranger (Skirmisher) 3 | hp: 23/25 | AC 16 | T 13 | FF 13 | CMD 18 | Fort +4 | Ref +6 | Will +4 | +2 to all saves against divination effects | Init +3 (+5 in forest) | Perc +8 (bonuses in alias) | Sense Motive +3 (+5 vs humans)

Sure.

I would also like maps for combat.

Dark Archive

male wraith biomedical scientist lv5/ film director lv3

maps are not my forte unfortunately

Male Human (Cheliaxian) Ranger (Skirmisher) 3 | hp: 23/25 | AC 16 | T 13 | FF 13 | CMD 18 | Fort +4 | Ref +6 | Will +4 | +2 to all saves against divination effects | Init +3 (+5 in forest) | Perc +8 (bonuses in alias) | Sense Motive +3 (+5 vs humans)

Oh. Well, never mind then.

Male Human Rogue/1 Knifemaster Scout HP 15/15 | AC:16 | Init +6 | Fort +2 Ref +7 Will -2 | Perception +3 |

Ooze's! Bane of rogues everywhere.

HP: 39 AC/Touch/Flat 17/10/17 | Fort/Ref/Will +10/+4/+11 | Init +0 | CMB +5; CMD 15
Skills:
Climb +2, Diplomacy +8, Perception +3, Ride +4, Sense Motive +7, Spellcraft +5, Survival +7, Swim +2

I'm really hoping a balled fist hit an open palm to punctuate that statement. Holy hostile jello Batman!

Female Half-Elf (Taldan) Magus (Bladebound) 1

Just waiting for Jirani to come back and roll his damage.

Unless, GM, you could do that? If not, it's fine.

Female Half-Elf (Taldan) Magus (Bladebound) 1

So, who's up now? Jirani & Andando?

Cleric 1 / Wizard 1 | HP 18/18 | AC 15(13) | T 11 | FF 14(12) | CMD 10 | Fort +3 | Ref +1 | Will +8 | Init +1 | Perc +4 | SM +8 | BoL 6/7 | AF 7/7 | Channel 2/3 | LF 7/7

Me no know!

Female Half-Elf (Taldan) Magus (Bladebound) 1

Well, they've both acted, but Andando still needs to give Reflex saves to avoid having his weapons corroded. Aerodus has gone as well, so that leaves the ooze now before us.

Also, I think Andando is in serious need of healing.

Cleric 1 / Wizard 1 | HP 18/18 | AC 15(13) | T 11 | FF 14(12) | CMD 10 | Fort +3 | Ref +1 | Will +8 | Init +1 | Perc +4 | SM +8 | BoL 6/7 | AF 7/7 | Channel 2/3 | LF 7/7

I cannot keep tracking what you hit you or not, folks, so keep your status bar updated and I'll heal you.

Male Human (Cheliaxian) Ranger (Skirmisher) 3 | hp: 23/25 | AC 16 | T 13 | FF 13 | CMD 18 | Fort +4 | Ref +6 | Will +4 | +2 to all saves against divination effects | Init +3 (+5 in forest) | Perc +8 (bonuses in alias) | Sense Motive +3 (+5 vs humans)

Just so you guys know, posting this weekend might be sporadic because I'll be going on a trip with my family.

HP: 39 AC/Touch/Flat 17/10/17 | Fort/Ref/Will +10/+4/+11 | Init +0 | CMB +5; CMD 15
Skills:
Climb +2, Diplomacy +8, Perception +3, Ride +4, Sense Motive +7, Spellcraft +5, Survival +7, Swim +2

Enjoy your trip! Hopefully a fun trip with family not a "dear god why do I even HAVE a family" type trip. :p

Male Human (Cheliaxian) Ranger (Skirmisher) 3 | hp: 23/25 | AC 16 | T 13 | FF 13 | CMD 18 | Fort +4 | Ref +6 | Will +4 | +2 to all saves against divination effects | Init +3 (+5 in forest) | Perc +8 (bonuses in alias) | Sense Motive +3 (+5 vs humans)

So, should we skip past Andando or roll for him?

Female Half-Elf (Taldan) Magus (Bladebound) 1

O_O

Oh, crap... rat swarm.

Anybody have something like burning hands? Otherwise we're in for a rough fight, I think...

Actually, would the wand of acid splash be of any help here?

Dark Archive

male wraith biomedical scientist lv5/ film director lv3

I'm sure you guys have some Alchemists fires handy no?

Male Human (Cheliaxian) Ranger (Skirmisher) 3 | hp: 23/25 | AC 16 | T 13 | FF 13 | CMD 18 | Fort +4 | Ref +6 | Will +4 | +2 to all saves against divination effects | Init +3 (+5 in forest) | Perc +8 (bonuses in alias) | Sense Motive +3 (+5 vs humans)

Venator, use wand of acid!

Cleric 1 / Wizard 1 | HP 18/18 | AC 15(13) | T 11 | FF 14(12) | CMD 10 | Fort +3 | Ref +1 | Will +8 | Init +1 | Perc +4 | SM +8 | BoL 6/7 | AF 7/7 | Channel 2/3 | LF 7/7

I don't have that wand, the one I have is the magic missile one...

Anyway, if you can't fight it just get out of the way and I'll let some sparks fly! Hopefully I'll live long enough for that...

Female Half-Elf (Taldan) Magus (Bladebound) 1

Yeah, I'm holding onto the acid splash wand.

I don't think it'll be of much help anyway--it's a targeted spell, and swarms are immune to that sort of attack.

At least it's a rat swarm--the rats are big enough to take damage from regular weapons.

Cleric 1 / Wizard 1 | HP 18/18 | AC 15(13) | T 11 | FF 14(12) | CMD 10 | Fort +3 | Ref +1 | Will +8 | Init +1 | Perc +4 | SM +8 | BoL 6/7 | AF 7/7 | Channel 2/3 | LF 7/7

Yeah, we hope they are ^_^

Male Human (Cheliaxian) Ranger (Skirmisher) 3 | hp: 23/25 | AC 16 | T 13 | FF 13 | CMD 18 | Fort +4 | Ref +6 | Will +4 | +2 to all saves against divination effects | Init +3 (+5 in forest) | Perc +8 (bonuses in alias) | Sense Motive +3 (+5 vs humans)

Whoops, sorry for the mix up. I was thinking about unleashing Venator like a pokemon.

Male Human (Cheliaxian) Ranger (Skirmisher) 3 | hp: 23/25 | AC 16 | T 13 | FF 13 | CMD 18 | Fort +4 | Ref +6 | Will +4 | +2 to all saves against divination effects | Init +3 (+5 in forest) | Perc +8 (bonuses in alias) | Sense Motive +3 (+5 vs humans)

Man, I hope the rats don't give us like in my WotR game where we struggled against cockroaches.

Cleric 1 / Wizard 1 | HP 18/18 | AC 15(13) | T 11 | FF 14(12) | CMD 10 | Fort +3 | Ref +1 | Will +8 | Init +1 | Perc +4 | SM +8 | BoL 6/7 | AF 7/7 | Channel 2/3 | LF 7/7

Swarms are freaking nasty if you don't have powerfull spellcasters with the proper spells in the party...

Female Half-Elf (Taldan) Magus (Bladebound) 1

Makes me kinda wish we had an alchemist...

Male Human (Cheliaxian) Ranger (Skirmisher) 3 | hp: 23/25 | AC 16 | T 13 | FF 13 | CMD 18 | Fort +4 | Ref +6 | Will +4 | +2 to all saves against divination effects | Init +3 (+5 in forest) | Perc +8 (bonuses in alias) | Sense Motive +3 (+5 vs humans)

Well, the funny thing was that it wasn't swarms. It was 3 normal cockroaches. And we couldn't do a thing until the cavalier tank came in.

Female Half-Elf (Taldan) Magus (Bladebound) 1

Ouch...

Cleric 1 / Wizard 1 | HP 18/18 | AC 15(13) | T 11 | FF 14(12) | CMD 10 | Fort +3 | Ref +1 | Will +8 | Init +1 | Perc +4 | SM +8 | BoL 6/7 | AF 7/7 | Channel 2/3 | LF 7/7

Weird...

Male Human (Cheliaxian) Ranger (Skirmisher) 3 | hp: 23/25 | AC 16 | T 13 | FF 13 | CMD 18 | Fort +4 | Ref +6 | Will +4 | +2 to all saves against divination effects | Init +3 (+5 in forest) | Perc +8 (bonuses in alias) | Sense Motive +3 (+5 vs humans)

It was funny.

Somewhat spoilers for WotR:
The people who were fighting the cockroaches were a dwarf ranger (specializing in archery), a tiefling hedge witch (me), a human paladin of Iomedae, a human inquisitor of the same goddess, and a human bard. We're still at level one and we're trying to get out of this cave we all fell in during the opening of the campaign. We're doing bad when our human honor guard dragon order cavalier (who is mainly a defender) comes in and helps us take down the cockroaches.

It was scary. I mean, there were, like... three of them! It was mainly due to the dice hating us.

HP: 39 AC/Touch/Flat 17/10/17 | Fort/Ref/Will +10/+4/+11 | Init +0 | CMB +5; CMD 15
Skills:
Climb +2, Diplomacy +8, Perception +3, Ride +4, Sense Motive +7, Spellcraft +5, Survival +7, Swim +2

Bad dice rolling just compounds the frustration factor in those moments, its the worst.

Cleric 1 / Wizard 1 | HP 18/18 | AC 15(13) | T 11 | FF 14(12) | CMD 10 | Fort +3 | Ref +1 | Will +8 | Init +1 | Perc +4 | SM +8 | BoL 6/7 | AF 7/7 | Channel 2/3 | LF 7/7

More spoilers for WotR:
Ha! I'm not sure if my GM was to lenient on that, but we avoided that encounter going through the other path.

Female Half-Elf (Taldan) Magus (Bladebound) 1

I'm waiting for confirmation from GM as to how well that hurt the rat swarm before I go.

And if I was just on the wrong end of a thundershock.

Cleric 1 / Wizard 1 | HP 18/18 | AC 15(13) | T 11 | FF 14(12) | CMD 10 | Fort +3 | Ref +1 | Will +8 | Init +1 | Perc +4 | SM +8 | BoL 6/7 | AF 7/7 | Channel 2/3 | LF 7/7

Imma change my name to Pikachu!

Ha! So my earlier Pokemon reference made sense after all! Venator's a Pikachu!

Dark Archive

You guys are blazing through these encounters, I guess I may need to throw something harder :P

Cleric 1 / Wizard 1 | HP 18/18 | AC 15(13) | T 11 | FF 14(12) | CMD 10 | Fort +3 | Ref +1 | Will +8 | Init +1 | Perc +4 | SM +8 | BoL 6/7 | AF 7/7 | Channel 2/3 | LF 7/7

And running out of hit points and spells... Throw us some couple tens of thousands of gold pieces and we will certainly have a very hard time!!!

HP: 39 AC/Touch/Flat 17/10/17 | Fort/Ref/Will +10/+4/+11 | Init +0 | CMB +5; CMD 15
Skills:
Climb +2, Diplomacy +8, Perception +3, Ride +4, Sense Motive +7, Spellcraft +5, Survival +7, Swim +2

Oh to be defeated by the magical equivalent of someone with a t-shirt cannon that shoots gold coins...a horrible way to go.

Cleric 1 / Wizard 1 | HP 18/18 | AC 15(13) | T 11 | FF 14(12) | CMD 10 | Fort +3 | Ref +1 | Will +8 | Init +1 | Perc +4 | SM +8 | BoL 6/7 | AF 7/7 | Channel 2/3 | LF 7/7

Maybe a Medusa that transforms you into gold instead of stone? (aside from Desnan followers, of course, which should be unharmed by it)

OMG I'm shivering already!

Male Human (Cheliaxian) Ranger (Skirmisher) 3 | hp: 23/25 | AC 16 | T 13 | FF 13 | CMD 18 | Fort +4 | Ref +6 | Will +4 | +2 to all saves against divination effects | Init +3 (+5 in forest) | Perc +8 (bonuses in alias) | Sense Motive +3 (+5 vs humans)

No, a golem made up of gold coins. That would be terrifying!

HP: 39 AC/Touch/Flat 17/10/17 | Fort/Ref/Will +10/+4/+11 | Init +0 | CMB +5; CMD 15
Skills:
Climb +2, Diplomacy +8, Perception +3, Ride +4, Sense Motive +7, Spellcraft +5, Survival +7, Swim +2

Hmmm would it be like a shuffling mound with big amorphous limbs or are we thinking like a humanoid made of tightly packed coins? Equally horrible but I find the shuffling coin pile idea more terrifying?

Dark Archive

male wraith biomedical scientist lv5/ film director lv3

There is a coin-wraith in wayfinder if you truly want to fight that :P

Male Human (Cheliaxian) Ranger (Skirmisher) 3 | hp: 23/25 | AC 16 | T 13 | FF 13 | CMD 18 | Fort +4 | Ref +6 | Will +4 | +2 to all saves against divination effects | Init +3 (+5 in forest) | Perc +8 (bonuses in alias) | Sense Motive +3 (+5 vs humans)

Jirani, I was thinking of a humanoid shaped pile of coins. Though the shuffling money pile scary. Kinda like those old commercials where they had a stack of bills with googly eyes while playing "Somebody's Watching Me".

Ulgulanoth, no. I wouldn't like to fight any money ghosts.

So, for some reason, I imagine us being like the Guardians of the Galaxy (if you haven't seen the movie, go see it. It's awesome.). I imagine the GotG version of "Hooked on a Feeling" playing. Maybe it's just me.

Female Half-Elf (Taldan) Magus (Bladebound) 1

Really? I'm still lingering on us being Pokemon...

Male Human (Cheliaxian) Ranger (Skirmisher) 3 | hp: 23/25 | AC 16 | T 13 | FF 13 | CMD 18 | Fort +4 | Ref +6 | Will +4 | +2 to all saves against divination effects | Init +3 (+5 in forest) | Perc +8 (bonuses in alias) | Sense Motive +3 (+5 vs humans)

Well, maybe we recruited a Pokemon. If the Guardians can have a talking raccoon and a tree, we can have a Pikachu. :)

Cleric 1 / Wizard 1 | HP 18/18 | AC 15(13) | T 11 | FF 14(12) | CMD 10 | Fort +3 | Ref +1 | Will +8 | Init +1 | Perc +4 | SM +8 | BoL 6/7 | AF 7/7 | Channel 2/3 | LF 7/7

A gengar would be more useful, but yeah, a pikachu would also help. Anyway, let's proceed ^_^

Female Half-Elf (Taldan) Magus (Bladebound) 1

Incidentally, it appears Andando has disappeared on us again...
