“You might need to consult Hailey privately about getting eyes of the eagle fitted, Pitbull.”
Tanbaru curls his lip as he examines the Zen-archer statue from a position towards the rear of the party. “I guess in a certain light … if you squint, it might look something like me – in a pathetic, paladiny kind of way.”
"Tanbaru, is that a rice bowl?"
It is apparent the spirit oni has at some stage met the previous Master of Spells. Because the:

Tanbaru opens his mouth to reply, but before any words can form, he shuts it again as his eyes flick back towards the cave mouth where the statues stand.
There is not a trace of sarcasm in his re-phrased reply to the ranger. “I only count two, Pitbull.”
“While my slow transformation into oni has left me with no memory of this place, it is customary for two statues to be placed at a shrine to Yatasumi, representing His dual aspect as the deity of volcanoes and winter.”
Tanbaru continues respectfully. “While I don’t doubt you believe what you saw, three statues to the Lord of the Mountain would be most unusual.”

“Just put the damn rice in the bowl will you, Pibull? Oh. You’ve already done it.”
A surge of warmth rushes through the group. A smile creeps across everybody's face in acknowledgement of the offering.
Tanbaru tries to reassure the elven occultist. “Just ignore her, Salouris. Lightning never strikes in the same place twice, right?”
“Unless you’re on top of a freakin’ Big MOUNTAIN that is … Ahhhh … that’s a good point about the similarity between Yamatsumi and Gozreh. Have you ever thought about spelling Gozreh’s name backwards?”

Five long minutes pass, but the anticipated yeti statue attack never comes.
Tanbaru gives Pitbull a pitying glance, as he moves forward of the party to take point for a change. “Intrepid Pathfinders, Let us put this place behind us!”
Leaving the mystery of the third statue, after a tough hike up a narrow trail across the face of the mountain, the Pilgrim’s Path suddenly ends.
A cylindrical portion of the mountainous landscape — one hundred and fifty feet in diameter — is simply missing. An old milestone still points southwest towards the strangely symmetrical crater, but an arrow engraved in the cliff face points west toward a series of water-slicked steps carved into the unnatural cliff.
While, you can clearly see what is left of the temple looming above you, it appears some incredibly powerful magic (or technology?) has cleanly shorn through masonry, mountain and jungle to completely remove the front of the temple.
*Think* a Starfinder:TNG™ Borg raid that has cleanly scoop/(cylindered) up and removed part of an alien city.
Tanbaru wails quietly and his tiny body shakes in disgust as he sees what is left of his former ward. “It was here! This is the place where my ward, my path, was sundered.”
There is a narrow ledge remaining along the side of the cliff that leads to the Temple steps on the other side. The ledge is only wide enough to accommodate one person at a time. To further complicate matters, there are three gaps in the ledge, 10ft, 5ft and 10ft respectively.
The bottom of the crater awaits any false step. Its rocky bottom lies 60 feet below.
Attempting to squeeze past each other on the ledge is risky. To facilitate keeping track of what happens when, I'll put us in initiative.
Block/group initiative didn’t work very well for the ‘path-clearing’ skill checks, so I’m gonna try a new format. But feel free to delay til after another party member if you wish.

Kishara watches with wide, unblinking eyes as Harmonius dances his way across the narrow ledge. "He may regret that decision... By the looks of that stonework, some of the degradation is natural erosion. But some of it has been cut away intentionally."
She was pretty light on her feet but considering how far the fall was, she felt the safer approach was best. Nodding her agreement with Dusk's plan, she too pulls out a 50 ft length of silk rope. "If we are linked, we can aid each other in balancing as well. But we need to leave enough slack between us to make the jumps. Those who need the most help should go in the middle." She hands one end of her rope to Dusk so he can tie them together and sets to tying the other end around her waist.
Probably need to link two 50 ft ropes to have enough slack. Kish has +13 to Acro, so she can't fail to aid and she should be able to take 10 and not risk falling on her own checks. A 15 ft jump is a DC 15 Acro check. It doesn't look like anyone has negative mods, so taking 10 along with 2 aids and maybe a guidance should do the trick for all of us.

I guess that cliff is confusing me too. Do we have to climb 40 feet up to reach the flat area where the snakes are?
1. If we have to climb 40 feet to reach the snakes, Dusk can't do that reliably, so he will drop the rope in Asbo's square as a free action, draw his weapons, and go full defensive as a standard action (since he's between most of the party and the snakes). If he can do it as a free action, Dusk will tap his blades against the cliff face to hopefully draw the snake's attention away from Harmonius.
2. If we do not have to climb 40 feet to reach the flat area (or can do so without making a check), Dusk will still drop the rope in Asbo's square, then move nw, n, n , draw his weapons while moving, and then go full defensive.
