Giving Torsk time to respond anyway.

This is my first time posting images from google drawings. I just wanted to make sure everyone could view the images I linked for the Venture-Captain and his companion.

Redoing and making some changes on the map. Posting it back up in a few. Use the map link on the top of the page when it comes back up.

Ok i'm hopping that fixed the map. I am OK with everyone moving their own tokens. just note, if you try and cross the sewer in combat, you will need to roll swim check, DC 10, to get to the other side. If you fail you will be stuck in the sewage till your next move. No taking 10 on swim in combat.

Heh, when I decided to throw the bomb I strongly suspected I might get some feedback from Zuriel! Always nice to have some inter party banter.

So, after taking one on the chin, Zuriel's pretty hurt. I don't want to disappoint the Pathfinders and obviously want to keep going, but we're not even at the vault yet and we have tough times ahead. So here's my question:

Can we sell consumables to buy other consumables? I found out in the last (which was my first) PFS game that using consumables that you find doesn't affect the gold that everyone gets at the end. So, what if instead of using the arrows we were given, we sell 2 of them at 50% and buy as many scrolls of infernal healing as we can and use those instead? Does that affect wealth at all?

I don't think any of us even has a bow (I know I was planning on using the arrow as an improvised weapon to stab with) and we're pretty lacking in healing.

Is this allowed?

I have plenty of healing to go around. I used my prestige for a wand of CLW.

Awesome! How much PP does that cost, btw?

I still want to know if we're allowed to do what I asked, just for future reference. I assume it's not allowed, but you never know.

It only costs 2 PP (any item up to 750 gp).

Also, it's pretty much expected that everyone buy their own unless you are a brand new character who can't afford it yet.

That way, you just hand your own wand to someone who can use it to heal you and don't use their resources.

New characters obviously can't afford it yet and are an exception, but otherwise nice for everyone to have their own.

Ok, so I can buy any of the "always available" items, anything on a chronicle sheet, and anything else based on how much fame I have (from the chart in the guide to organized play). In addition, I can spend PP instead of gold to buy anything, or are there restrictions on what I can buy with PP? Can I buy something up to 1500 for 4PP, 2250 for 6 PP, etc? Sorry, I wasn't aware of any of this but I'll buy my own wand after this adventure

It's not a big deal. I don't have a wand on this character because it's his first adventure, and Yakima seems very willing to share. Thanks!

Yes, you can spend PP as you have indicated as long as it's under the price limit.

After reviewing Zuriel’s question, I have done some research regarding selling items found in the scenario. Per chapter five in the hand book, under conditions and death they make reference to players selling items to bring a fallen character back to life. They state characters can pull resources and even sell off their personal items to achieve this, but it states they are not able to sell any items found within the scenario. So unless I come across anything stating otherwise, the simple answer to the question is no, you cannot sell items found in the scenario to buy other items or servers.

On items avalible, the guide brakes down, how valuble of an item you can buy based on the PP spent. It also sets a limit on how valuable of a magic item you can buy, based on your current fame.

Hey, I've only been on one other mission. ;-)

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up. I have been trying to post at least two times a night. Tonight is my normal pathfinder table game, so my next posting will come tomorrow.

Also, I wanted to give a mechanical brake down on Zuriels jump across the sewer, in case he was curious how it worked.

Running jump is DC 5 for each five foot jumped. You don’t count the square you are currently in. You do count the square you land in, so he jumped 10 feet with a +2 to the DC for being slightly slippery = DC 12. Removing your hand from a two handed weapon is a free action. Seeing he has a +1 to his base attack, he can draw a weapon as part of his move. Throwing the weapon at a target is a standard action. Throwing the weapon while holding another weapon in your off hand, in my opinion, does not create a penalty. (This subject, is currently a debated subject). I personally don’t see holding a weapon in your off hand, to be any different than holding any other object. Placing your hand back on your nagi is also a free action.

I'm really glad Telos made his save. So, if I yell as a free action, does that give nearby sleepers a perception check to wake up, or do I need to use an action to wake them?

From Zuriels perspective, the group moved forward about 30 feet. He noticed three outcroppings of these unusual looking flowers. He noticed a strong pleasant smell coming from them, which is unusual considering the normal foul smell of the sewer. One by one the patches of flowers, each sputtered out a large cloud of pollen. Immediately after that, a few members of the group curled up on the ledge, and went to sleep. Zuriel is unsure at this point, if simply yelling at them would cause them to wake.

One quick question, At the rate we are going do you expect us to be done by the end of August? I am trying to figure out if I can sign up Yakima for some events at Pacificon.

I am hoping we will be. It will depend a lot on how long fights take, and so fare they have been going at a descent rate.

Does this room end at the end of the Map?

It is a hall with doors that line both sides. The doors appear to be sold and some are ajar. The hall goes north and dead ends. Twenty feet down the hall it appears to turn west.

So, sorry about screwing up the map. My computer is a touch screen and it's acting as though I'm clicking the screen, even when I'm not (and even when my mouse is turned off).

I had the map up to look at it and had to leave the room, and when I came back it was all messed up. I can try to fix it, but I kind of want to make sure this is fixed before I open the map again, you know?

Very sorry!

GM Nightfiend, I saw you say that this is the last encounter. Do you think we'll finish today? I got an invite from a GM from the recruitment thread and I dont want to miss my turn in the rotation, if possible. I can use a pregen, but I'd rather use Zuriel.

Depends on everyone, I’m thinking possibly tonight or the next night, depending how things pan out. Unfortunately I can't control everyone’s posting rate or the dice rolls for that matter. I will watch and post as quickly as i can to try and move things forward.

To speed things up, make sure I have you PFS information and any items you would like to buy or sell posted in this chat room. That way I can complete your chronicles quickly.

PFS
XP
Fame
PP
Gold
Items sold
Items used
Items bought
Conditions cleared and how you want to clear it.
Example:(Zuriel's filth fever.)

I understand, I don't want to rush anything. Hopefully we can kill these pesky things quickly :-)

Before this scenario I have:
PFS 100025-1
XP 1
PP 2
Gold 21.88 of starting, and 127 of earned gold (I've earned 462 gp to date and purchased a masterwork naginata for 335). So I should have 148.88 gp plus whatever we earn here.
Items sold Depending on how much gp we get, I may sell some stuff.
Items used None
Items bought Again depends on how much gp we get
Conditions cleared Filth fever, hopefully.

For the filth fever, is anyone in the PFS able to treat my disease? If not, would I need someone in the current party to do it? I will try to treat disease on myself each day (according to RAW this seems allowed), and I'll use the antiplague for the first day, which should give me two fort saves.

So assuming we get out of here alive, Zuriel's recovery would go...

Heal to treat disease on day 1: 1d20 ⇒ 17

Fort Save 1 Day 1 (take the better): 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9

Fort Save 2 Day 2 (take the better): 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12

Not sure if the 12 succeeds, if it fails I will take...

Con damage: 1d3 ⇒ 3

Dex damage: 1d3 ⇒ 3

8 hours of rest heals one dex damage and one con damage

Heal to treat disease on day 2: 1d20 ⇒ 18

Fort Save Day 2: 1d20 + 8 - 1 ⇒ (18) + 8 - 1 = 25

Heal one dex and one con damage from 8 hours of rest

Heal to treat disease on day 3: 1d20 ⇒ 18

Fort Save Day 3: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17

Heal one dex and one con damage from 8 hours of rest

So it looks like after 2 or three days (depending on the day 1 outcome) I will be healed of disease with all ability damage gone. Is this how it works? Let me know if I need to redo anything.

Ok everyone make sure I have the following information correctly so I can get started on chronicles. This is just in case you are successful in the last encounter.

Yakima 88579-2
XP 1 / Fame 2 / PP 0 / GP 197? Or 669?

Hyrlynne 19327-10
Xp 1 / Fame 2 / PP 2 / GP 576?

Telos 132076-15 (Note: I see you have shadowlodge down for faction. I don’t think there is a shadowlodge anymore. If you make the change before I create the chronicle ill list the correct faction.)
XP 0 / Fame 0 / PP 0 / GP 15

Kenri 4141-3
1 XP / 2 Fame / 2 PP / GP 430

Zuriel 100025-1
1 XP/ Fame 2 / PP 2 / GP 148

Let me know if something is incorrect. Also GP reward is around 500+. I wont be sure exactly how much untill i get home tonight. If you want to buy or sell anything, list it here as well.

Zuriel
The last two fort saves will do it.

(FYI) Also note that you do not heal ability damage until the disease is cured. Although this is not relevent in PFS unless you run out of con.

And the previous encounter could have easily put everyone to sleep! Crazy!

I don't have a day job check.
